I bought your theme 2 years ago and everything worked well except for the last month. I have downloaded the update version of your theme but visual composer / bakery page builder ask me for a license in order to have the last version. It means that for one month I can’t use my website at all. Can you tell me what to do, thank you.

The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.

one of my colleague bought the theme about 3 years ago. And we keep using your theme on our website. About 2 months ago, I found I can’t use wp bakery to edit my website. because I couldn’t contact me ex-colleague now, so I don’t have the buying license to submit a ticket to fix my problem.

Without the licence, we can’t confirm you purchase, unfortunately.
If you want to have access to theme downloads, where you can download the latest theme and plugin files, you need to have theme purchased from specific account on ThemeForest. Licences can’t be transferred, unfortunately. So basically, the only thing you’re left with is to purchase new licence for Malmo theme.

Hi, I have the regular license expired but my WPBakery Page Builder needs to be updated & I don’t have the activation key. I don’t think it’s fair to pay another Support ticket if everything was working fine before. Is it something you guys can help me with? Thank you.

In Malmo version 1.7.1 we included the latest WPBakery version, so all you have to do is to update your theme.
When you download the latest files from https://themeforest.net/downloads make sure your Core plugin is deactivated and deleted prior to the update. Once the theme’s been updated, install the latest Core version from the notification on the top of your Dashboard.

Hi, I have purchased the Malmo theme and I have completed two websites with this theme. However, I have a question regarding the Portfolio Masonry list. I have included the possibilty that people can choose by Portfolio category. But there is always the category ‘all’ with an overview of all the portfolio items. Is there a way to delete the ‘all’ category Please?

I absolutely adore your Malmo theme and am looking to finally launch my website (I purchased the theme right before my son was born so my support has expired, unfortunately!). I love the look of the Parallax Creative option and have been working on it on my 15” laptop and all looks great. However, on my iMac at work I noticed that it is actually not full-width and there is quite a bit of padding on the sides? I am wondering if there is a certain width I should be using for the background images and to make it responsive/full-width to avoid the padding issue.

Hi! I think I’ve mostly figured it out; nothing is live yet as I’m hoping to launch the website for this weekend. The main issue I’m having now is that on the Services page, I’ve noticed the process items on the right column do not show up on mobile: http://www.nikolettdesigns.com/services/ – would you please be able to let me know if there’s some kind of setting or something I should change to make that column visible on mobile? Right now it’s just leaving a big gap in between each service.
And for the parallax option, I’ve learned that if I put it to “cover” it fills up the whole screen which has helped. Thank you!

You can have video background instead of slider on this page https://malmo.elated-themes.com/ however, the functionality you mentioned is not included as default theme feature. Also, it’s important to note that Malmo is responsive already.

Well, you can have video background for mobile via Revolution Slider feature that has this functionality already built-in, however mobile devices don’t really render video backgrounds very well, so we tend to avoid this as much as possible. Video background across mobile devices is inconsistent and some devices may experience problems in playing these video files. For the sake of page loading time, we recommend using classic slider for touch devices.
When it comes to 3rd party plugins, you have to understand that we didn’t and couldn’t test all plugins out there with our themes. The official plugins we provided bundled inside our theme are the ones that are tested several times before the theme was launched and we guarantee their functionality.

Regarding the Instagram issues, please navigate to: your-website.com/wp-admin/options.php page
Then find all the instagram fields and delete them: https://www.screencast.com/t/Qz4PbL7CZAhQ
If you want to change the Instagram account, navigate to: www.instagram.com and make sure you are logged out.
Then navigate to Theme Options > Social Networks > Connect with Instagram.
- Also note that some web servers don’t allow editing the database through options.php, so you might need to access database directly.

In the latest theme update you could find WPBakery version 5.5.2, which is not the latest one, we know, but the update was released in Aug. However, it’s still compatible with the latest WordPress version and if you install Classic Editor plugin, as explained here, you won’t have issues with page editing https://wpklik.com/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-keep-wordpress-classic-editor/

We’ve almost decided on using this theme. It’s beautiful and just what we need. I would like the homepage to include a combination of a few blog posts using the blog split option with a right sidebar (http://malmo.elated-themes.com/blog-split-column/ – with a right sidebar) and below a few shop items (http://malmo.elated-themes.com/shop-home/). Really BAD support from theme Author. The theme uses outdated third party JS libraries that causes alot of JS errors. They refuse to provide a fix to it. You can see the errors here http://malmo.elated-themes.com/split-screen-slider/ in this case specifically multiscroll.js. Also it is 3+ day lead time for ticket reply.

Hello! I purchased your theme, I really like it even if it’s a little bit complicated for me to understand how it works.
I’m struggling with the icons implemented in Malmö theme (those inside the lists “font awesome”, “linear icons”...): when I’m writing a blog post and want to use an icon, I open “elated shortcodes”, click on “icon”, and I can’t get a visual of the icon I want. I have to guess which one I need by going into “Elated Options”, then “Title”, to scroll the icons, then going back to my blog post and write the exact name of the icon in the Elated Shortcode window. It’s really annoying!
Is there something I missed? Is it possible to find an exaustive list of existing icons so I don’t have to look after them all the time? I don’t know if I’m clear…

Try to enable discussion from per post options and tick box next to Allow comments. You need to do this for all published posts, and if you enable comments globally they will be present for all new posts.
