The theme comes with our own elaboration – CMSMasters Donations plugin, it works with PayPal and Stripe gateways only: https://www.screencast.com/t/u712rJCCFmc . Recurring donations are possible for PayPal, but not for Stripe payment gateway: https://www.screencast.com/t/XD9RJfA9f .
Please note that to accept recurring payments you need to have Business or Premier PayPal accounts.

I think I found a bug in the loading of the stylesheets. Chrome is not loading/parsing the adaptive.css file (maybe it’s an encoding issue?). You can see this by opening up the demo site in both chrome and firefox—the firefox site is 1200px and the chrome one is only 980px wide because adaptive.css isn’t working.

It’s really strange, at 1440px wide (my retina macbook pro screen resolution) Chrome will display the page content at only 980px wide, while other browsers display 1200px wide. It has something to do with adaptive.css not applying any styles in Chrome at that resolution. Here’s a video that shows what is going on: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFjnl1FSRZ —if I change my laptop screen resolution to be higher, 1600+ like what your screencast showed, chrome and firefox match just fine.

Hi for each child profile. Instead of adoption is there a way to add a donate(sponsor) button for sponsorship.

On a child profile you can add a button that will lead to Donate Confirmation page but I should note that there there will be no possibility to choose a specific child to whom you want to donate.
A solution that I can suggest is to add children not using profiles but campaigns In such a case you can click on a ‘Donate now’ button and donate to this specific child.

Please make sure that you add the email address to the Contact form shortcode settings while editing the page with the form.
Don’t forget to add all the fields you used to your Message Composer, as shown on the example screenshot. Just click on all the fields you used save changes. Then message received when contact form is submitted, will include the entered information.
In a case the issue remains actual please contact your hosting provider to find out if the mailing option functions properly for your site. If the mailing option is turned on and functions correctly we kindly advise you to use Contact Form 7 plugin. Our Contact Form uses POP3 or SMTP protocol and the plugin we mentioned – another protocol of sending messages. Some servers do not support our protocol of sending, that’s why we recommend you an external plugin, which is surely compatible with the theme.

Hi. I bought a theme that depends on IgnitionDeck plugin and I hate it because I didn’t know it before I got it, that’s why no I ask before. Several questions: does this code depends of additional plugins? is this is the case: are they completely free or I need to pay for them? also, is it possible to let each project owner to setup their own paypal account in order to let them receive donations directly to their account? is it possible to show automatically all donations in one page to make transactions transparent to all public? please let me know. We used the following plugins for the demo: CMSMasters Contact Form Builder, CMSMasters Content Composer, CMSMasters Mega Menu, CMSMasters Donations, Contact Form 7, Instagram Feed, LayerSlider WP, Slider Revolution, MailPoet 2, The Events Calendar. All these plugins don’t need to be purchased separately, they’re included in theme package or can be easily taken from the WordPress repository.
The only plugin isn’t included is The Events Calendar Pro – it’s prohibited for third-party distribution. With its help you can have additional options for the widgets and calendar views, its usage isn’t critical for the website. You can find more information about plugin and purchase it here.
For the content creation we use Visual Content Composer by cmsmasters team with a huge custom shortcode collection. Please check this video demonstrating how easily shortcodes can be managed. Our visual content composer allows to place any shortcode/section to any part of the content area. I love the theme, but I’m having trouble editing any of the colors. I just installed the basic theme with basic plugins and have not added content yet. The header is purple, and the footer is purple. I can’t seem to change this color anywhere, and I have no clue how the Theme Color Schemes section works. None of the changes I make here seem to do anything. Also I have no clue what the Custom Color sections are for or how to activate them. Am I missing something, how does the color settings work? Thanks!

Besides please note that issues related to the changes that are not applied on the front-end are not theme-related and always refer to the cache settings. In fact the easiest way to make your site look like our demo one is to import demo content. The theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site. You can find this file in the Demo content folder you downloaded from the Themeforest.

Please install the WordPress importer plugin, then proceed to the Tools-Import-WordPress, upload file and import. You’ll need to import the Content itself and the theme settings.
The sliders are imported separately, so you need to install the slider plugin and import the slider sample file. The theme comes with a demo slider content import file. After you import it, you will have the same slider as we have on our demo, except that the background images will be absent and you will need to add your own instead. Our license does not allow us add background images to the download package, but all the other slider elements and settings, including timings will be imported.
The theme documentation contains rather detailed instructions concerning the demo content import (you can find it in the DOCS folder you downloaded with the theme archive – please open index.html file in any browser)

We did use the theme on php 7.2 installations, and so far no issues have been found. Also we know that some of the customers have updated too, and we did not receive any issue reports. Hi – Today I went to update a menu item and I cannot edit the Navigation Labels. Instead of getting a text cursor when clicking into the Navigation Label fields it shows a Hand Cursor and instead and pops the color box for the navigation color. Any insight?

Please make sure to use the latest theme version (1.0.4). The issue you have is caused by the WordPress 4.9 version, and there is a need to update the theme, please download the newest archive from the Themeforest.
The easiest way to update the theme is to rename the old theme as children-charity-old in your wp-content/themes folder. Then you will be able to upload the new theme children-charity.zip via the WordPress admin panel and activate it.
After the theme update, please proceed to Appearance > Theme Plugins, and update all the suggested plugins. Please note that you might need to clear your browser’s cache in order to see the changes.

Will updating to Wordpress 4.9.4 fix it? We have made some small changes to the CSS and other spots in the theme and do not want to overwrite it.
Also – We found a temporary solution – if you deactivate CMSMasters Mega Menu plugin we are able to edit the menu and save.

The matter is that you should use the latest theme version to make it function correctly with the WordPress 4.9.x. We’d advise you not to edit theme files directly as any customization can be rewritten by future theme updates. It would be better to customize the code, when you’re using a child theme.
