Adding adding to cart, the checkout option in the pull out cart area has to be clicked twice before it directs to the checkout…we need this fixed, I have had complains.

Hi,
I need to have minor categories as sub categories under parent categories. For example the parent category is ANIMALS and I have several other collections under this like BIRDS, TIGERS, DOGS, CATS. Is there a way to do this? Also I need the same on a collections list page. So if you if you go to the ANIMALS collection list page it will show all the sub-collections.

Shopify software doesn’t have categories and sub-categories. Shopify software has collections. You can organize products into collections as you wish. One product may be in multiple collections. You can create navigation menu up to 3 levels and link each navigation item to needed collection. Collection block at collection page supports 2 levels.

OK I understand shopify works with collections and for example I have ANIMALS as a collection then DOGS as another collection which will be in ANIMALS collection too. As ANIMALS will be a tag in collections like DOGS, CATS, BIRDS etc I would like to be able to have a collections list named ANIMALS with the collections that are associated with ANIMALS. There is a collections list page but I cannot see anyway to create a custom collections list?

I want the parent collection to go to a collections pages which shows certain collections not the products. I only see the option to link to one collection which shows product or all collections which shows all collections list page

Many thanks. You do have an all collections list. I believe you can do this with free shopify themes. I did find a code to create a new page template collections-list but it just shows the collections you choose as image and title and I cannot change the styles as you can on shella theme collections list.

With this CSS style, can you have the product title fix/fill to two lines so that if a product has either short or long title (the title will wrap to the next line) the product list box height is consistent for the whole theme?

Yes. Theme uses “AND” logic for filters. You need “OR” logic. I will discuss with my team this feature.

Between filter values it should be OR between different filters it should be AND. For example you search for door “OR” window “AND” which are red “OR” black “AND” which are big or medium size.

Its not about a theme, I am speaking about a general online shop logics. If you go to https://www.yoox.com or https://www.farfetch.com/ or any other normal online shop you will see that the items are being filtered with OR principle when there is a multiple selection option inside a single parameter – size, color, brand and etc.

It depends of store type, what filtering logic is best OR or AND. Unfortunately Shopify software has limited filter options. My team improve default Shopify filters. We plan to add OR filtering feature, but it is not simple task and require lot of time. If you know Shopify theme with better filtering options, please, let me know.

Hi, I see a lot of screen shots which is great however you have not explained how to get the mega menu to appear in the top navigation menu.i create navigation menu at Online store -> navigation 2) Assign it to header at Header section -> Menu option. 3) Add content block “MegaMenu” for needed menu item to convert it to megamenu. But my menu does not appear. I for my part cannot get the mega menu to appear in the top because the process is not clear. Hope you can outline the process more concisely. Thanks.
