Appologies for the delay, It’s been weekend and I have other deadlines as well. We’ll solve this today. Quick question, where exactly so you want to place the alert? Be specific please, left/right, under or above the main title? Will it have the full width of the header or just one of the columns.

Unfortunately, I can’t say at the moment, but I can say I’m currently working on the specs for all the different plugins this WP theme will require.
As soon as I’m done with that I’ll be able to make an estimate.
Meanwhile, it would help if you could describe your use case in as many details as possible and the must have features you’d like to see in a WP version.
Here’s a clear example from someone else interested:
1. Every semester to be able to easily upload and edit course content which includes: syllabus, assignments, readings (PDF), images, and video (youtube, vimeo), quizzes2. Students can upload written assignments, video, photos
3. Quizzes that can be configured by me and taken online by the student then graded automatically
4. Students already enrolled at the university and taking the class would take the course. No sign up. Login would be last name and pass would student ID. Roster uploaded by me from an excel file
5. Students can upload their photo to their account as a profile picture.
6. Attendance checker in instructors view (do roll call and check the box for present, absent, late, or excused absence.
7. Students can input contact information (email, phone) and I can send mass emails with class information.

I personally want to use it to make a subscription-based courses, you pay 3$/months and you will have access to an entire library of courses. I checked all the premium themes on themeforest, there isn’t even 1 theme that can do the job for me, because it’s either not RTL supported or lacks a feature I absolutely need. They focus on selling a single course 1 by 1, so don’t forget to focus on that type of business models, big library, paying monthly/yearly, In your theme, you should bundle a membership plugin. I will keep an eye on the theme from time and take notes, I really want this theme to be the best ever on themeforest.

You need to update material-design-kit and dom-factory. If I remember correctly, I gave you the changelog with the exact libraries you need to upgrade when I notified you of the update.

There is no need to share your credentials. Just copy the HTML header part, including the alert and post it on gist.github.com and then share the URL here.

The only thing you need to do is upload the files from the dist/ folder to your server.
In regard to customizing, the included files are HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We’re including source files in Sass for the styling and ES6 for javascript as well as a build environment to generate the files in dist.
Are you interested in learning how to customize the Sass files and regenerate the CSS or do you have some specific customizations you’d like to do? Please let me know so I’ll try and point you in the right direction.

Thank you so much for getting back to me and for designing such a beautiful site. Thank you also for taking the time to sincerely help me. I am a teacher who needs a nice looking and practical way to digitize my class. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about coding.
I do not wish to change the design. It is perfect the way it is. I do need to change the text. I also need to change some functions. For example, I won’t be selling courses online. Instead, students will be able to make an account and join the course for free. I am assuming there is an admin page where I can change the courses and content. How do I access it? When I use the preference button to change the theme to dark teal etc, it redirects the site to your website. How do I change it so that it stays on my server?
I am sure I will have other questions. Please bear with me for the next few days.

So, the bad news is this item doesn’t offer a functional admin panel to manage a database. It is purely conceptual and includes HTML, CSS and JavaScript – so basically the concept, user interface and user experience.
The good news is if you’d like to submit a refund request from your account, I’ll approve it. My recommendation is that you find another item in the WordPress category which has the functional capabilities that you need.

First let me say you did a great job providing clear and concise details.
I think these features, in regard to both UI and functionality, would be useful for others as well so I’d very much like to work with you on this.
The only issue I’m having is time. I have very limited time to take on new projects, however I think we can work something out.
What timeframe do you have in mind for having the functional platform, working the way you described it?
Would you be willing to work with me ongoing for 1-3 months if necessary? I could put in up to 10-15 hours per week for as long as necessarry. Keep in mind these are billable hours not total hours spent, which are always more.
My rate is €50 eur / hour (or about $57 USD) and although I am not cheap, I can do exactly what you need.

By my calculation 50euros(15hours x 4weeks x 3months)= 9000 euros + (for as long as you need). Unfortunately I am a humble university teacher (based in Tokyo). It seems financially impossible. I do get a yearly budget from the university for expenses but I am afraid it would only cover an absolute maximum of 300,000 yen which is slightly less than1/3 of that. Although I really want and need the site, I am afraid I would not be able to pay such a high fee.

That’s actually not such bad news. There’s a chance we could still do this, if you’d be willing to co-fund the project with someone else.
I’m thinking to split the project in several branches in the form of WordPress plugins.
For example, one plugin for quizzes, another for courses, another for attendance etc. The development would then be made individually per branch/plugin and each would encapsulate it’s own dedicated functionality.
As a final step, the plugins would be compatible with each other and deeply integrated with Tutorio and possibly with other UI’s like Tutorio in the future.
There are a few others interested in seeing this functional education platform alive so if you say you can put that 1/3 budget, maybe I can get someone else to fill in at least another 1/3 and I would drop the remaining 1/3 as an investment of my own.
I would own the commercial rights of the individual plugins and you guys would have a license to use them with Tutorio. You would also get any updates with bug fixes and improvements over time.
Just an idea of my entreprenorial mind. Let me know what you think.
