1) No page builders are required for the theme to operate correctly and look as per the demos. Of course, all major page builders are supported too, if you would like to create a custom page.
2,4) Please refer to our demos for the available layouts.
3) Yes, you may use any third-party plugins with Spotlight.

Pre-sale question. I noticed (and really like) the Contributors page found here – https://spotlightthe.me/spotlight/meet-the-team/ – more specifically, how the recent articles for the Contributors are listed.
Do you plan on or can you add a feature so something like that can an option for the homepage instead? For example, all Contributor’s recent posts are featured like that on the homepage OR also be able to list recent articles assigned to post categories (in that display/design style) in various grid layouts 2, 3, or 4 column? Been looking for a theme that displays articles from tags or categories like that and yours is perfect in how you’ve done it for Contributors/Authors.

I say this because the theme lends itself to being one of the first to offer mobile first, google points to this address and will bring many more sales since I do not see themes that offer it in themeforest

Hi, javascript appears to be broken on iPad when viewing your main demo. For example you cannot click the menu or search. iPad has the latest update (9.3.5). This is a really important fix for us. Thank you.

I’m afraid, iOS 9.3.5 was released on August 25, 2016, three years ago. The latest iOS version is 12.3.1. There have been 3 major releases since version 9.

Super themes, nice work. Very easy to install and the options are really simple to configure. For future versions, it would be interesting to have more options for the home page. Yes, the theme has the so-called “Additional Content” feature, allowing you to insert any content (including shortcodes, HTML and banners/ads) in numerous spots.
Spotlight has integration with the official AMP plugin. I’m afraid, I’m not sure if you may place ads in the AMP version too.

Hey, im looking for new theme for a photoblog.
Image size in Spotlight blogroll is 800×430 px ? Can i change it somewhere on the theme setups that the image wont crop to this. Theres a lot of portrait oriented photos which needed to be full… So the width of the portrait photos could be 800px but the lenght would be what ever it is in 3:4 ratio.
Further question: Are those images that shows on Spotlight demo frontpage added in the ‘article image’ section in ‘article’ edit.
What happens when installing this theme and there are couple of hunders articles without inserted article images, instead the picture has just placed in the article editor.

Thumbnails are currently cropped to specific image size.
Our support will, however, help you display images in original aspect ratio if required.
Images in post archives are preview images (post thumbnails). As far as I remember, there’re plugins allowing converting the first image found in post content to post thumbnails.

We only provide integration (displaying values) with the Post View Counter plugin. The counting itself is handled by the plugin.
We’ll be adding our own view counts feature to Powerkit with Google Analytics synchronisation, but there’re currently no fixed dates for it yet.

Post archive on mobiles is stacked and collapsed into one post per row. Looks like our designer took a wrong screenshot for the iPhone mockup on the landing page. Please accept my apologies for misleading 
Anyway, having two posts in a row on mobiles would likely result in failing the Google mobile-friendly test, as elements would be too small.

We don’t have any post job feature in our theme, the other types are supported by the plugin within the free version, including local business and newsarticle. Let me know, if you have other questions.
A couple of questions:
1. How do you edit the theme after it’s uploaded to Wordpress? Is it only editable with coding knowledge? Are there plans to make it editable to those who don’t know code?
2. When viewing the demo on mobile and accessing the side menu navigation there is an issue when scrolling. Users who scroll down after selecting the menu see a cut-off menu and some of the Terms & Conditions text for the subscription form is cut off. I’m using an iPhone 7 with Safari.
Is this issue only on the mobile demo or are users who have purchased the theme experiencing the same issue?
