1. We use the 3rd plugin – Front-end PM to send a direct message between employer and candidate. If you don’t want that action, you can not install that plugin.
2. Yes, the employer can approve/reject the application and the candidate can get the email notification for both actions. You also can enable/ disable the email notice. We have the setting to do that.

But we can change the order by updated date. With the resume search result, the result will order by date, the new resume will display on the first listing.
