Thank you for looking at my site. the problem that I seem to be having is that when I select a blog style option it doesn’t seem to change the first page you come to when you type in the web address www.solomonstay.org. the page with the blog theme I want is the following https://solomonstay.org/?customize_changeset_uuid=dde45e4e-a5b9-4411-8dbb-4aaa8c919dcb
the logo seems to reset to the web address which I want it to but not to the blog style I also want. I can’t seem to make the style options link to the web address www.solomonstay.org.

thank you for your reply and I agree its a great theme, however, I am still having a few issues.
the homepage is set to latest posts with the sidebar set to the right. yet when I have visited a post and the latest post page loads, it does so without the sidebar.
I also have this appearing (undefined variable: stylesheet_url in/home/solomonstay/public_html/wp-content/themes/writing/functions.php on line 400) every time I try to edit a page or post.
also, the edit post doesn’t appear on my admin bar.
I know it is a lot, but can you please help.

thank you for your reply. I am loving the theme, it’s great. but I seem to be having a few issues. I have set the sidebar to the right but after a few clicks on posts, the homepage which is set to latest posts appears without the sidebar.
it also keeps telling me I have a problem on line 400
and the edit page and edit post don’t appear on my admin bar anymore.
Sorry for this being so much, the theme is the best design though.

I am trying to get my site looking like yours. however, there does seem to be any difference between “list /Default/classic/ masonry” styles as I click on them.

Please make sure whether your homepage is assigned to a static page or not from (Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays) and set it as your latest posts if you want your homepage and archives pages to be the same blog style, or set to to a static page. and set the static page template to blog and set its blog style to the layout that you want

Is there some CSS I can add to remove the tags please? Changing the settings in Themes—> Customize removes them on the individual blog post only, and they still are there on the home screen.

However, there is a strange problem. If you go to the «Share Icons List» settings, you can enable the «Whatsapp Share» and «Telegram Share» icons. But after switching on, they do not appear (with all the other icons, everything is OK) is it a bug or am i doing something wrong?

Whatsapp and Telegram share buttons appear on tablet and mobile only, they don’t appear on desktop But if you want to show them on desktop, you can add this code to (Appearance > Customize > General Style > Custom CSS Code)

I would like to hide the tags/meta data, and would prefer to have the be a universal setting and not have to change it every blog post. I’ve changed tag settings—> show tag description to no, and that doesn’t work. I also tried adding some custom CSS and that didn’t work either. Can you help?

I’ve received a couple of notifications that I have an update for “Writing Blog.” I’ve downloaded them each time and assumed that simply installing the theme on WP would override the existing theme installation. It doesn’t. It says that the theme is already installed. Obviously, I’m doing something wrong. Could you possibly explain how to get these updates installed? Thank you for your time.

Very happy with this simple and effective theme but it seems no longer possible to show only the “Custom Description” content of blog posts on the home page since the last update.

Hi, I have linked mail chimp with the my site without using a plug-in. I enabled the pop-up subscription form and it works perfect for web browsers with the theme but it sticks to the top if sticky menu option is enabled for mobile browsers. Could you please help me solve the issue?

I have installed theme and almost everything so far works to my satisfaction, however, my site title – which is a text, my name is super large and overbearing on blog posts and other pages. So I want to remove the site title from all pages and posts except the hompage. I can’t find where to do it in the customizer.
