By default, the theme doesn’t include WooCommerce plugin. You may try installing it to get e-commerce feature, however please note that you may need to create additional stylesheet for shop/product pages.

Please navigate to WP Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins.

Update ThemeREX Addons plug-in. You can click on “Update” button (if available in a particular theme) or deactivate and delete this plug-in. Then follow the prompt to install it again. This will load a new plug-in version on the site.

After that deactivate and delete the rest plugin(s) of old version (WPBakery and Slider revolution).

Go to Appearance > Install Plugins and install the plugin(s) like it was described in the Plugins Installation section of this documentation: http://shaha.ancorathemes.com/doc/#getting_started_plugins_installation

phew! and fixed – thanks for the hints Julia!! goodness that was quite a long time to fix after what should have been a simple update – and a lot of my settings were also reset, I wonder what I did wrong to make that happen

If you deactivated theme in admin panel – some theme options may be reset to default. We recommend update using ftp-manager:

1) Log into your ThemeForest account and get the last version of the theme.

2) Connect to your server using desktop client software (we recommend CyberDuck and Filezilla).

3) Change directory to /wp-content/themes.

4) Remove existing folder with old theme files.

Don’t activate/deactivate anything in WP admin panel!

5) Unpack theme installable files downloaded from ThemeForest and upload to the theme folder.

6) Update ThemeREX Addons plugin and other included plugins in the way described above.

Unfortunately Themerex Donations plugin does not have any other payment option except Paypal. Integrating other payment methods requires additional customization of the plugin source files, which is beyond our support service according to Envato item policy.

We have not tested the theme with other donations plugins and couldn’t guarantee that any of them will be 100% compatible. But feel free to try using one of them which meets your needs.

Standalone (or separately purchased) plugins come with their own individual license, while bundled plugins purchased as part of a theme (Visual Composer including) can only be used under the same license as the theme they came with.

Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.

Latest versions of plugins will be included in next theme update and you are always able to request them in tickets.

There you will see trx_addons.pot file. Please, generate .po and .mo files according to your language, the file names should look like this: trx_addons-fr_FR.po and trx_addons-fr_FR.mo.
