Guys, seriously. I can’t activate the theme. I had to re-install Wordpress and now that the support has expired I can’t re-install and reactivate anything on the theme. Whomever thought it was a good idea to handcuff people to your theme by forcing an extended support purchase just to be able to use the item you purchased is absolutely ridiculous. Why pay $40 when I can just buy another theme for $50 and get the support that comes with it? I’m so curious what the thinking/strategy is behind this move? What was this supposed to address? I was looking forward to using the theme, but there are others like it. Just sharing my disappointment in case someone somewhere needs some feedback about the definition of “support”.

I have updated to the latest version too and I also have a problem. On my article page, the shortcode for blockquote is not being rendered but displayed exactly as shortcode text:

What is going on with this theme?
Just because I bought it 1-2 years ago, ok I get the updates, but to update it and have problems with it and the guys from fuelthemes not to explain why …. I tried to reach to them and they said that I need to buy support… That is so unprofessional… So, I should pay another 41.13 dollars just to have them to explain to me why the blockquote is displayed as a code and not rendered as in the css…
I have now found a way, to hand-edit each blockquote but this is happening because of the update… either the theme or the visual editor that comes with the theme…

When I updated the Voux theme from version 6.2.5.2 to 6.3.1 there are issues with the CSS styles. It changed the colors of links, menu links, and post links. That’s just a few of the things I noticed before I quickly reverted the theme backwards.

Hi! I have The Voux installed in my Wordpress site. Usually the theme updates work fine, but the last version 1.0.4.1 doesn’t want to update. After activating the new version of the plugin, it goes back to the old one. I can’t install the new version of the theme. :/

Hi, A friend of mine bought the voux theme and now he has a problem. Inside the admin area of the theme, you can set the Category Colors. He sets the colors but on the frontend the category title stays the same, with the same color… Is this a bug? Check it out on britishthoughts.uk… If you inspect the category title in the article carousel, you’ll see that the color is actually set but it is overridden by the General Link Color setting…

Hello I am really sorry for posting this here but we have no other choice.
We have two VOUX licences and we are about to purchase a third one but there are simply too many problems to proceed with the purchase, once more after an update.
Here is what’s going on:
We have the latest version of all plugins and theme files. We updated them twice.
We have deactivated ALL plugins that do not come with the theme
Problems:
The homepage pagination is not working. It;s looping the same articles. The problem is that we created a demo with Voux theme for the client to approve, we are today about to launch, we did the updates before we get the final on and buy the license but all hell broke loose.
Please before you ask us to buy a third licence or update the support for something that clearly not our mistake, consider helping us since we are stuck in a strange situation with our client, for delays that we are not responsible for.
Once the problems are resolved and we get the final ok from the client we can proceed to purchase the licence with some confidence that further updates will not break our client’s sites.
We cannot a support ticked so far so please let us know at info [@] lightform.gr how we can resolve this and where to send the login information.

Since the latest Voux update Bakery has stopped working I have the most up to date Voux Theme required plug-in. I note I’m not the only one suffering this problem. Please advise how this can be resolved.

We have performed a rollback so the site can continue but the issues were as follows for any page or post designed using WP bakery. 1) Unable to edit/save changes/publish/update 2) unable to delete a draft post 3) Wouldn’t display advert banners inserted using a shortcode 4) Long string of text at end of every post/page that had been created using WP Bakery. The roll back has helped with some issues but we still cannot delete a draft post. We want to be assured that the update that came today 6.3.1 will correct these issues and not require us to roll back again.
I don’t think this is a theme issue. Could be a plugin conflict. Please open a support ticket with your login details, so we can take a look.
After installing Voux 6.3.1 some issues have been resolved. The latest update for The Voux – Required Plugin will however not update from 1.0.4 to 1.0.4.1 even after being deactivated / deleted and other plugins also deactivated. H1 header tags are clickable so you end up in an unnecessary loop and I still can’t delete posts or pages created with WP Bakery. I find it hard to believe that one of the other plugins is causing this as everything was working perfectly until Voux update 6.3. I no longer have paid support for this and at the moment feel I have a paid for theme that is not fit for purpose.
Hi Lumpy, I am not sure what you mean by H1 tags being clickable. It depends on where/what you mean. Unfortunately, we cannot provide further support here, as your issues could be related to 3rd party plugins, child theme usage, etc. We cannot know for sure unless we look at your site.

Honestly I do not know what you mean by updating the widgets, the template has been updated and all widgets and wordpress plug-ins are also updated even though I can not see the main page. Excuse my ignorance but what should I do to “Update the widgets”?

I meant navigating to Appearance > Widgets and re-saving the widget settings or removing/adding them.
It has removed the widgets and even so on the homepage it is not seen. I do not know what else to do.
I see more comments and apparently I’m not the only one with this problem of not seeing the home page, I do not know why but I already remove the widgets and it’s hard to work without seeing anything. Please a solution to this, because after customizing the page having to do all that work again for an update is a bit annoying. Now every time I update I will be afraid to go through this?

We always ask customers to test your updates on a staging site to be sure.

This really sucks. And forgive me for saying it this way. I have been asking for help for more than a week. It tells me to update the widgets, I do it and I still have the same problem. Do not see the home page when I activate the instagram widget. I even sent them an example of the theme and my page and they did not make me fucking. And so they want you to come back and pay for a support that really does not help anyone at all. This very very bad, and naive believed that when I updated again it would have been solved, but I still have the same fucking problem and you pass me.
I would love to help, but without seeing anything, we simply guessing here.

I have the last version of Wordpress (5.1.1) and the last version of The VOUX (6.2.5.2). Updating today to the last version of Woocommerce (3.6) I’m experiencing some incompatiblity for the following pages: content-product, content-single-product, orderby, etc. So, for example, the title of a product now has a large size, the tag words above the product have a large size, the facebook and twitter icons are put in a wrong place, etc. Moreover, there are issues with the images. If I click on a word among the tag words on the product page, the tag page (that is the page that lists all the products by that tag word), shows products images duplicated or arranged in a very odd way (https://ibb.co/BsnyQzn). I hope you can solve this very soon.

Hello, after the update ot the theme to the last version (6.3.0.) WPBakery has totally stopped to work. So now the site is unreadable. I’ve backed up to the previous. Do you know this issue or need more info? Let me know please.

I have some news: 1) essentially there is a conflict between the theme and a very popular plugin named Revive Old Posts https://pasteboard.co/IbvlzQF.jpg This plugin probably interferes with tgmpa-install-plugins. 2) when I’ve uninstalled Revive Old Posts, I could correctly update WPBakery. BUT, in any case, even when everything is updated and no warnings displayed, WPBakery does not work and all shortcodes are unreadable.
I need help with this, otherwise I can not update the theme in future.

Could you describe what do you mean by page builder not working? It is not working on the backend? Do you see white page, etc… Please share your login details as well.
On the homepage all the shortcodes are not decoded, so I read [small_title =]. While pages and articles are completely blank (white page).
That means the Voux – Required Plugin is not installed or not updated. Please remove the old version and reinstall.
In the latest update, the tinymce shortcodes are removed (the ones added using green + sign) for ThemeForest WP Compliance.

You can delete the old one, and the one you install from The Voux > Plugins will be the latest version.
I’ve extensivlely tested the new release on a staging copy making all the possibile one can do (deactive and activate plugins singularly etc.) but I confirm there is something wrong with the theme and the composer. I’m pretty sure the issue relies on the theme, since I can update the composer with the previous release of the theme and everything is ok. I’m sorry, but for the moment the site is not usable.

I have an update: article styile 4 does not work (while the other styles are working) and shortcode [dropcap] and [small_title] do not work. Any idea?
We noticed the issue with article style4 and released Version: 6.3.1.
The dropcap,small_title and other inline shortcodes are removed from the theme for Envato WP Compliance rules.
Ok for article style 4. But I have more than 500 articles using small_title and I can’t open and modify one per one. This would be as make a new site. So, please, find a solution. I think not to be the only affected by this very big change!
We can help you with custom shortcodes if you open a support ticket, however they have to be removed to be in compliance with updated ThemeForest WordPress rules.

Hi, Just realized the Fuel studio feature would make my life much easier, I read the documentation but could not find how to access it. Any clue? Also, just saw some of the new Additions to the WP composer on the Revolution theme, specially the Content Carousel, is it ever coming to Voux?
Hi quitoxic, you can access Fuel Studio from Page > Add New and then click on the template button right next to the big + icon to add elements. We can add the content carousel to the Voux theme on the next version.

Hi quitoxic, you can always disable the heading and add your own using the text block
No I mean to control the Heading tag for the title of each post, not the grid itself. Tight now is at H4 default, can’t change it since will change it on all the same style grids, but it would be nice to be able to chose it on each grid.
That would be quite hard as it would mean the font-sizes will change with each heading tag.
