How do I allow automatic update for my theme?

Theme should be updated manually.
IMPORTANT: Before you go ahead with the update please make sure you backup your old theme folder. Download it to your computer locally.
It is the best practice to backup both your files and database regularly and especially before making some serious updates.

Starting from now, if you want to proceed with your crowdfunding campaign, you should UPDATE your theme and move to new free Give Donations plugin!
Please follow these steps in order to update the theme:
1) Login to your ThemeForest account and navigate to your downloads tab. Find the theme and download “Installable WordPress file”.
2) Extract /holy_church folder from archive and upload it using ftp-manager to /wp-content/themes folder on your server overwriting existing folder and files.
Don’t change anything in Appearance> Themes
3) As soon as the new theme folder is uploaded, go to Appearance -> Fonts and colors and click on SAVE button so color changes there are recompiled in new theme files.
4) Navigate to WP Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins.
Update ThemeREX Addons plugin. You can click on “Update” button (if available in a particular theme) or deactivate and delete this plugin. Then follow the prompt to install it again. This will load a new plug-in version on the site. Deactivate and delete the rest plugin(s) of old version.
Go to Appearance > Install Plugins and install the plugin(s) like it was described in the Plugins Installation section of this documentation:

Dummy data installation fully depends on your server settings.
Please make sure that your server PHP configuration limits are as follows:
max_execution_time 600
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32M
Alternatively in case “Demo Data” installation stuck, you can manually install it by downloading the demo.zip archive from our server: http://demofiles.ancorathemes.com/holy-church/demo.zip
After that extract it from archive and download /default folder to /wp-content/themes/holy-church/ folder on your server and re-import dummy data.
It should be successful.

Do you mean title with title background image as subheader?
You can specify different header style (that has no title wrap) in Post options> Header> Header style for this specific page.

I have the theme installed in a dev space. When I activate the Revolution Slider plugin that is recommended for this theme, the Customization options under Appearance returns a 500 error – .... is currently unable to handle this request.
When the Revolution Slider is not activated, the Customization area works properly.
The only other plugins currently activated for the site are Essential Grid, Events Calendar, ThemeREX Addons, ThemeREX Donations, WooCommerce, Wordpress Importer and WP Bakery Page Builder..
How can I fix the issue so that the theme customizer works and the slider works for the top of the homepage?

Hi. Just purchased the theme. Having two issues. 1. I change the colour in the customiser and it doesn’t change the site (I have cleared my cache) 2. There is no option to ‘add an event’ anywhere. I am use to Event plugin but are unable to find the add an event in WP Dashboard under events.

Currently theme uses the following fonts: Playfair Display, Oswald, Montserrat.
The theme enables you to use both Google Fonts and custom fonts in your design. You can load up to 3 different font families and change current fonts.
