Update – I tried to manually import the Yoga Slider from within Revolution Slideshow, and got the following error:

“Error: slider_export.txt does not exist!”

Not sure why that happened. Anyway, still no progress importing the Yoga demo.

I just tried to import the theme using the alternative method described in your documentation using the xml files.

Most of it failed. I extracted the file all.xml.gz found in veda-demo-importer\demos\yoga.

I then opened all.xml with an editor to see why the media files were failing to import, along with other files.

An example bit of code linking to your site where the demo content exists includes this:

When I copied this logo file into a browser URL bar, I got an error that the file doesn’t exist. Is this why the demo import is failing? Is your demo site not online?

OK, have sent you login details a second time. Please respond. I have wasted a day and half work for a client not being able to install this theme and import the demo.

Please confirm to either of my messages to confirm you got my email and are working on it? It’s a bit frustrating to only get questions asking me to send details twice, which I did twice then no confirmation. No proper ticketing system that my support query is being looked at. #frustrating

Thanks for responding. Can you give me an update on what is wrong? So far, I can see that the slideshow was uploaded and colour applied to some buttons, but the wrong colour, red. I can’t really see any other changes.

Please someone at least respond to confirm something is still happening. I am losing confidence that your support is actually doing anything because of the long silence?

Hello thank you for doing that. However, my problem is that I needed to be able to do this myself. I want to provide my client with several options on an offline staging platform when I next meet him. I need to be able to import the demo myself. Can you provide the xml files for all the demos that work? I pointed out to you before that the xml file you provided with the theme download pointed to demo files that did not exist, and this may have been the key reason why the import is failing.

The second problem is that what you have done still does not look like the demo. The images in the slideshow on the Home Page look extremely blurred, not clear like your demo. it’s like you manually uploaded images that were thumbnails and too small.

Also, the footer background colour is not as the demo.

I watched for several days as someone seemed to be manually changing things, not doing a simple import from xml, which would have taken minutes not 4 days to do.

Please, can you fix your xml files that come with the theme so I can use the Wordpress Import method myself? One of the links in your xml files includes this one, which I already reported to you as faulty:

This links name does not resolve, as if you no longer have the subdomain “dummy.” The import seems to fail because of this. I already mentioned this, but you did not address what I have said.

Please do not take so long to respond, I have wasted so many days already because of this theme not importing.

Since I am unable to import demos myself and support is not responding to specific areas I have pointed out do not work with the import functionality, I feel that if I do not get a response to all the above very soon, I will need to ask for my money back unless I get a solid response to everything I have mentioned today.

I’ve said this several times now and no one responding. The xml import file for Yoga has links to a base site that media files come from that does not exist:

Thanks for responding. My current feedback exists because of a major problem with the theme. Thank you for acknowledging that fact.

Thank you for providing that one xml file for Yoga, but it also fails to import properly. A lot of media files do import now, but some media files are missing, the footer area is not imported, amongst a number of other theme options that are not imported. It’s still a problem. Surely, you should fix the theme instead of having to provide individual support to everyone who wants to import. I own dozens of multipurpose themes, and this is the first time I have come across this issue.

I have already asked that I am able to import all the themes, to test them and present options to my client. I also need to be able to use elements from different demo variants in the client site. No one wanted to respond to that query or any of my other comments until now.

Your Theme page clearly states, “get the demos as in the live websites”. I am unable to import any of the demos myself. I purchased the theme so I could use elements from various demos, but I can’t. Yes, you have provided one xml file since I have been explaining my problem, however this does not work still, and also I still do not have access to import elements from other demos using the import. The theme remains broken for everyone else too.

It’s clear to me that you are fully aware of the problem now. Once the theme is fixed, I will be very happy to revise my feedback. Until then, I am still unhappy. It seems so difficult to get you to respond to specific things I’ve mentioned. It’s like you wanted to deliberately ignore the problem.

And kindly increase your maximum execution time and memory limit after that try to import the XML file , then it will work perfectly . Because we have imported our demo in your site successfully . If you wish we will send all media files folder by folder . So that also you can import it easily .

Are you guys still working on this? I never got an email confirmation or anything after following your above instructions. I do see something was done, but it doesn’t look completed. I sent you a follow up message about the issue I noticed with the lead form on your insurance theme demo. The fine print gets cut off on your demo and I have an even longer fine print so I’m concerned about that being that your example is off (see my follow up email) and the form isn’t even showing up on my site. Thank you for the reply. I don’t think I explained myself well. Because of the logo size (144×144) there is no padding / space around it.
