Hi,
I’m considering buying this theme. However, I have some questions.
1. Is it possible to remove the icon between the hamburger-nav and the search-icon?
2. Is there an option that you have to click on the hamburger-nav instead of hovering over the sidebar to show the navigation? If so, does this option remove the sidebar completely and only show the hamburger-nav as it is the case on a mobile phone? Or will the appearance of the sidebar remain the same as it was?

- Yes, you can able to hide/enable it from:
Elston Options > Sidebar > Basic > Enable Portfolio Icon/Button.
- You can do following thinks, in both options hamburger-nav icon will stays same. (But, can able to remove using CSS codes help)
Elston Options > Sidebar > Basic > Select sidebar style.
Options are:
1. Hoverable, Appear on mouse rollover
2. Clickable, Appear on mouse click

Hello, I’ve purchased this theme via elements and understand that I don’t get support necessarily. Is there a way to get additional support. It’s that my nav section suddenly has a red background on hover and additional spacing for some reason. I can’t find any info on this online

Hi. Nice looking theme and am possibly interested, but the menu doesnt pop out on FireFox yet it does in Chrome. Are you aware of this?
Also, the text as shown here https://victorthemes.com/themes/elston/portfolio-item/capric-cover/ doesnt scroll well on FF but does on Chrome. I think these two things are the only things stopping me from purchasing.

Please make sure you’ve latest version of firefox. Update it and check.

Also, another thing I noticed, only when recording this video on my 1080p monitor, is that the background image doesnt cover the full screen. Yet on my 4k monitor, it does. So it seems there’s an issue with the responsiveness as well? If these can be resolved, I’ll purchase.
Edit: I’m on the latest version of Windows 10.

Ok, i see touch screen works based on tap your finger. But, without touch functionality you’ve to use the mouse hover over the menu area.
I think your monitor connected to your touch screen laptop. The touch functionality will be same for connected monitors.

I’m not trying to cause an argumemt. I was simply trying to get an issue sorted before purchasing. I run a small digital marketing agency and all our staff have touch screen laptops. Most laptops sold nowdays are touch screen so I cant help that. It doesnt work on ours. If it cant be resolved, no problem but I’ll have to skip the purchase.

Hi,
I have problems with the resolution of the featured images.
I made a test and upload different images and sizes but all are displayed exactly the same, with bad resolution.
I noticed the (intrinsic) HTML when I inspected the element but I’m not sure if this affects the image resolution for the portfolio cover image.
Is the theme prepared for retina images?
Can you confirm the right size for the featured images on the portfolio section?

Hi,
The theme was Elston (portfolio). I downloaded from Envato Elements. I can’t submit the tickets because on the support page the button (Select Your Purchased Theme) is disabled. I can’t submit the tickets.
I don’t have the site publish but my doubt is about the images size for the main portfolio page (660×500px).

I think that something is doing an automatic resize because I uploaded several images with different sizes and all look like the same (bad resolution)... but I can’t find a setting for that etc…
Can you confirm to me the best size for these images ? or if a need to change something else.

By default ID numbers can’t be changed. Because, it’s a WordPress core functionality.
We recommend you to use the date order. And modify the dates of your portfolio items one by one as: 1 Feb, 2 Feb and, 3 Feb… so and so on.

Hey Gentlemen, I ran into another issue, the modern section of the blog will not display images when you hover over the topic in every post. Some posts however work where the featured image shows up but others wont work. Is there some issue with the sizes of the images that won’t work? Please advise. I checked everything and even tried replicating what was in the ones that did work in the ones that didn’t it seemed not to make a difference. I even wrote a new blog and still the image wouldn’t work.
The non modern layout however does display all the images, it’s only if we pick the modern style in the journal that it no longer works.

Hope you’ve created page as Portfolio name. And that page slug as portfolio. Please edit that slug as different name?
Otherwise, it’ll conflict with WordPress custom post type name of portfolio.
