In relation to the PSI score – it can be improved by optimizing images and by using lazy load third party plugin so you can defer image loading.

In order to have the current score, you need to utilize third party caching plugin – we are using W3 Total Cache so you can combine and minimize js (also load js as deferred) and css.

If you take a look at the root folder of the theme, you will notice 404.php – this is a WordPress template file for 404 page. You can change it directly, or, the method we strongly suggest, override it in a child theme.

There are two options – one is to use accent color settings on Appearance > Customize panel and the second one is to add custom css that will override the existing styles.

By using accent colors you will change the overall look and feel of the site. Specific custom css depends on what fonts you would like to change

You can add fonts to Applauz, by adding @font-face rule and relevant css statements to child theme css or Custom CSS field in Customizer. The best way is to declare respective classes and add them to page elements using Extra Class Name(s) property in Bold Builder

If you want to integrate it more closely with the theme (add it to the list of fonts) – you need to modify the code, please take a look at function applauz_load_fonts() in functions.php – the list of fonts is loaded in web_fonts.php of theme’s framework folder.

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, the theme supports any color you want to set – by setting primary and secondary accent color in theme settings you can change the color scheme of the site globally – all elements will inherit these two colors. Demo import contains entire content from our live demo. Please keep in mind that the images come in lower resolution within demo import for two reasons – one is speed of import and the second one is the fact that images are not licensed for third party use – they come only as a sample content. If you intend to use images from the demo on your production site, you will have to license them separately.

The theme does not allow you to edit the content of the page while the page is set as Posts Page in Settings > Reading.

Please go to Settings > Reading in your wp-admin, then set Posts Page to something else then Blog page. Edit the Blog page. Set it again as Posts Page on Settings > Reading. That should do the trick

Some server environments have script timeout set too low, some have processing power limit set.

We suggest using server recommended settings – http://documentation.bold-themes.com/applauz/getting-started/ if possible

In general import process is incremental – meaning that it will take off right where it stopped – so you can repeat it as much times as needed until it finishes. You can open the media library in another tab and refresh it from time to time while the import is running in another tab. The number of items in the library should increase if the import is running properly. Sometimes it takes several dozens of reruns – it really depends on the server settings.
