Hello. My client would like to have a link inserted into the top bar. It would be a login text with a hyperlink to it. It would link externally to another website. How can I go about this because the fields in the top bar option are very specific and if you try to fill it in with something else it wont even show. Then theres the hyperlink issue. Thanks so much.

Hi, I’ve installed the scalia theme and the child theme called one page theme, and I see that for some reason…it doesn’t let me save anything under appearance-> customize ->additional css. I think it let me edit it once and stopped. I have tried to debug by uninstalling plugins and the theme… and I’ve done a whole new wordpress install and a fresh install of the theme and it’s the same problem.

I’ve owned the theme for a while and just starting to use it, so my support is already out of date. However, there seems to be a bug or too that shouldn’t fall under support. If I simply change the footer background image in the theme settings, it the image does not change in the default page template. I’ve inspected the page code and it always gets background image from scalia image folder
css is: background-image: ../wp-content/themes/scalia/images/footer-bg.png
No matter what I try, nothing changes that image.
I am also having issues changing theme fonts from the simple Google Font API. I’m just trying to change theme font to something in available list from the default Roboto font. The newly selected font never renders.
I’ve checked for caching issues and find nothing. I do not have a live site that I can point you to because I am working in a sandbox server, but environment is very stock. I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari to no end.
Are there any hints that you can provide? This is very frustrating. I have no problem changing any of the elements in a specific page, like the Page Title Background Image. Which brings the question, is there even a way to have a custom footer background image per page, or am I locked into the background.png image at ../wp-content/themes/scalia/images/footer-bg.png? I really do love the theme and want to use it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I think i have figured this out. Please disregard. I don’t know yet if it is theme-specific but it appears that EVERYTHING is being cached unless force-reloaded after edits.

My designer has crated a header with the logo centered above the menu. When scroll down, she wants the nav to become sticky and have the logo now appear on the left of the menu.
Is this possible with your theme? A little bit of customization isn’t a problem if needed.

Your solution suggested to disable layer slider. There is no deactivate option for this plugin and if you select it and use ‘bulk actions’ and try to deactivate it that way it does not work. I can’t neither deactivate it nor uptate it. Same problem as efishinsea above.
