I contact you because I have detected some problems with the theme.
I bought the template a few years ago, but I am not going to renew support for a template that has no updates since 2019, without also having guarantees that the issues listed below will be solved.
There are problems with Woocommerce: Items such as view cart, etc. not shown like in the demo Login and cart icons either.
There are probably more errors within Woocommerce, since there is the following notice in Spanish: I translate it for you:
Your theme (Anders Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. You may have to update these files to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Tips for solving this: 1. Update your theme to the latest version. If there is no update available, contact the author of your topic to ask about compatibility with the current version of WooCommerce. 2. If you have copied over a template file to change something, then you will have to copy the new version of the template and reapply your changes.
The template is updated to the latest version you have available. Please tell me how to proceed since I have to implement Woocommerce correctly.

Please note that due to safety measures related to COVID-19 the updating of our themes is a bit delayed but please note that we are working really hard on this and that we are constantly working on updating all our themes, however, we can say that the theme is compatible with the latest version of WordPress as well as it is compatible with the latest WooCommerce as well. You will get this message though but it will not affect the performance of the theme as well as it will be added in the theme’s changelog once the update is out. At the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out. You will for sure be notified when the theme update is out. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi, I installed your theme and have spent 3 days trying to work out how to upload my content. I am so confused. Do you have any video tutorials? Otherwise I would like a refund. I have read the documentation but it’s not helping me understand how to navigate wordpress using edge to update the content.

Do you have video tutorials on how to use Anders? I only saw video tutorials for bridge theme. Would be great if you guys could make up upload just a quick 5 min video to explain how to set the page I want as the homepage (because you have many many different pages, layouts) as I want a portfolio page as my homepage and I want to change the menu header style on it. So who so I speak to to help me? So who do I chat to to help me? Still the help center? Because I assume that would be over email and email is soooo slow.

Hello! I’m trying to use other Google Fonts for my website, such as Open Sans. It appears fine on my browsers, but it’s showing up as Times News Roman in Safari. I’ve changed my font multiple times, including adding additional fonts, but the issue persists. How can I fix this?

Hi! For some reasons the page builder WPBakery after the last “general update” of Theme, WP, Plug in etc…disappeared from the page builder. The plug in is enabled but not showing its layout on the page builder, web site still working correctly but I can’t add any contents because I only see text and not the wpbakery layout. Hi, I have bought the them, but I am having a problem. When I want to create a post of type gallery, I do as in the documentation. Hi, i have recently purchased this theme named Anders by Edge Themes. It is a classy theme but I am facing an issue with the logo upload section. My logo is not visible on the main page (anders logo remains unchanged) but is visible on the inner pages.

Hi Edge team, for some reason, WPBakery cannot edit the pages. I am sure that it is enabled to edit pages and portfolio items, and it works well on editing portfolio items. Please disable all 3rd party plugins you may have installed, including Classic editor and Gutenberg plugin. If that doesn’t help, you would need to update your copy of Anders to latest 1.5 version. See how to update here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtnFGzHQbrI Then you’ll be able to update WPBakery to the 6.0.2 version that is included in item package.

Ok thanks – I had a reply confirming the problems but issues still not resolved. It’s been a week and I’m not able to use the theme. I have to get this resolved today or I’ll have to abandon the theme and try something else to meet my dealdine on this project. There seems to be fundamental theme functions that are not working. Hello Anne,
Please, note that it is really important to perform this major update on right way. You should update your theme by performing the following steps:
1. Deactivate and delete Edge Core plugin (you can do this via FTP, just go to wp-content/plugins and remove edge-core plugin folder completely) 2. Download the latest theme .zip file from ThemeForest 3. Extract it and locate anders.zip 4. Extract anders.zip and locate the anders folder 5. Copy/Replace the contents of the anders folder to the /wp-content/themes/anders folder of your web site. 6. Login to wp-admin panel, go to Appearance > Install Plugins and install and activate Edge Core 1.1
Everything should be working well after.

if you click on the theme preview it starts with a beautiful animated “A” full screen before you see the landingpage with the demos. Is this feature not included? Would love that screen too but can’t find it :/

Please make sure that you updated your theme to the latest version, because we included WPBakery 5.7 in the latest theme update. So it is compatible with Wordpress 5+ and Gutenberg, and you will be able to use WPBakery “drag and drop” option.

Hi, im interested in this theme. l really like the portfolio pinterest theme. I was wondering if you could navigate between different pages and those pages arent full width, like i would like the sidebar to be always on and pages to be designed to work with the sidebar, just like the homepage of the theme. Is this possible? Sorry for my english!

Thank you for writing in. Glad to hear you like our theme. On any page you could enable sidebar, just note that portfolio item has its’ own sidebar, so classic sidebar won’t be shown there. Using menu items from the top or from sidebar, you could navigate between different pages, too.
