I’m customizing Ella theme in “demo” mode. (I bought the theme but don’t wish to publish until I’m finished styling!). I’ve chosen Header 03.
For my main navigation, I can’t figure out how to select a new “test menu.” It appears I have to change the menu in my current active published theme. When I’ve used other themes, I’m able to select other “test” menus in “demo” mode. How can I SEE a test (with real links, mind you!) menu in Ella demo mode without publishing it to the world???

When you create categories for main menu, it will apply for live site so you cannot test in test mode without showing them on main menu of live site.

Love the theme! On the product page there is an option for a shipping tab and custom tab. There are no instructions on how to add this. The manual only shows you where it is not how to edit it.

A child theme should be an extension to a parent theme, containing the parent theme functionality. I can’t believe you want to charge your customers for features that are advertised on your product. Its a shame that all your child themes are so outdated, shouldn’t they all be kept up to date every time you release an update?

As we explained to you, child theme is not an extension of parent theme, child theme is a separate theme from main theme. Child themes are for customers who don’t want to use ella layout and only want to use child theme for their product lines.
Each of theme will have different design for their main business product line. Therefore, the features of theme will also depend on the design.

Ok, you know when using Ask an expert on product page, does it send an email out? Does the form already containt the product that the customer is refering to or do they have to write the product code url in the message?

Hi I email you 2 days ago from my account regarding a query please respond me.. Second thing I want to ask I am developer my self and I am trying to initialize new variable in my theme SCSS files and assign to existing css. but when I save those changes my whole theme got broken I did it correctly. then I role back all changes why this happen can’t we change or add more scss in theme files please reply me ASAP.

So what if I want to add some custom css to match my layout as I said I am developer myself I need some documentation to customize theme files according to my layout as theme native scss file I add new variable whole theme break.

I know you do not support for teaching code nor I am asking for this. But I am disappointed with its responsive layout sections as all rows have scroll instead of stacking column by column in mobile or tablet view. the every blog section, or shop information section I add and in tablet and mobile view the columns do not stack on each other instead had wired scroll in row/ on its bottom. Kindly respond my email as I raised this query and attached screenshots I need support on this I had to go live by week. Kindly help me.

1: Ella doesn’t have add to cart feature with listing options right on homepage for available. We can customize for you
2: Our filter on theme as you can see on collection page of demo is filter by tags, if you want to use advanced filter, you need to use app.
