Import takes some time since it needs to download all the images from our server and save them locally on your server. In general import process is incremental – meaning that it will take off right where it stopped – so you can repeat it as much times as needed until it finishes. You can open the media library in another tab and refresh it from time to time while the import is running in another tab. The number of items in the library should increase if the import is running properly. Sometimes it takes several dozens of reruns – it really depends on the server settings.

Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately, this is not possible out of the box – the theme does not support referenced menu layout. There are two ways you can achieve it: either by using some third party menu plugin or by customizing the default theme css on your side.

Unfortunately, addison does not have option like this.

You could probably achieve something similar by creating a static page layout – row after row with 4 columns and few blocks one above another in an inner row. But, it would be a bit harder to maintain that setup in comparasement to the custom post type and you would not have filtering or search functions.

Another option is to use third party plugin. Unfortunately we do not have any to recommend that can produce something similar.

You can also customize provided portfolio custom post type with some help from the web developer.

To remove it generally from the site, please go to Appearance > Customize > General Settings and check the “Hide Default Headline” box. To remove it on a page by page basis, please use the respective Global Settings Override on that page / post.

1) Can I please ask why when I change my logo on the homepage, it doesn’t change? It has the default name of the website written in normal letters.

2) When I navigate through pages etc, the primary menu becomes transparent, how can I make it so that it’s white and sticky?

3) How can I make it so that there’s a bit more space between menu items. (E.G space between SERVICES_____ABOUT US)

4) How can I enlarge the shrift size in text fields? (I noticed there’s the paragraph option but it makes the shrift from too small to too large..)

The referenced menu is displayed using Custom Menu page element on footer page.

Related to footer, if you take a look at the Appearance > Customize > Header & Footer, you will notice a setting called Footer Page Slug – the slug of the page defined there holds the footer content.

So all footer related content can be edited on this static page.

Currently your footer static page contains Custom Menu page element where is defined which menu will be displayed there.

You have two options – either to change the existing menu or to create a new one and change the property of the Custom Menu page element in footer.

You can manage menus on Appearance > Menus panel using default WordPress menu management interface.

You can display links to portfolio items by adding either custom links to the menu or portfolio items directly (if you do not see portfolio tab in the left part of the screen please check Portfolio on Screen Options panel in the upper right corner once you are on menu management screen)

Hi,

If you set the images as slide backgrounds, you need to add enough “empty” content using separators to one of the slides so the slides would get some height from separators. Image backgrounds can not be clickable but can have buttons and other content placed on top of them.

Alternatively, if you do not set slide backgrounds, but add image elements to the slides as content, images will themselves define height of the slide (will not be cropped) and you can add an url to them (they can be clickable). The downside is that you can not place additional content on top of them (text or buttons).

I modified the demo slider and updated the “Slider Item” to my images. I am guessing this is the ‘slide background’ method? How do I add the image as an element instead that you described? The client does not want any text/buttons on top of the images, so making them clickable is ideal.

Yes. You should edit the slider item and remove the background setting in it. Then, remove all the elements within the slider item and add image element to it. Set desired image for image element and define the url and target property.

Please keep in mind that images elements on slider are being contained in within 1200 px gutter. If you want it full width, please add the following to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS tab:

Addison offers the selection of Google Fonts – if you choose a Google Font with Russian cyrillic support you will have the support for Russian language.

Adding your own font requires changes of theme’s source code.
