If I upload the king-activate.zip file, is the WP Admin system going to ask me to manually replace template-register.php and template-login.php to main theme folder king/ Can you please explain better?
Yes it’s an extension you just need to replace these files , you can use ftp to replace it
Wouldn’t these changes be lost if and when you release a new update for the King Theme which we normally update through envato plugin?

Hi. Just a query. Does the theme allow for the user, once they’ve logged in, to set their default homepage?
What I would want to see is if there’s sections, say:
1. News
2. Videos
3. Images
that the user could set their default to 1. 2 pr 3 as soon as they login.
For guests I’m not too concerned about, maybe just present them with a mix of 1,2 and 3, but for logged in users, I would want them to choose what they want to see as the reason they’re entering the site. Some may want to just read news, some just watch videos, so they are presented with their preference immediately when they login.

I personally prefer not to customise much as the times I have, it’s caused problems for upgrades.
I’m still evaluating solutions but upgrading smoothly between releases is important for long term management of a site.

Question, one of my widget the Trending has a color on the back ground but the others do not. How do I customize the colors on that one & the others?

When in mobile mode my search icon drops down out of the header & over the images only when logged in. Is there anyway to keep it up in the header?
Also how do I change the select image text when picking a thumbnail in image submission screen. Want it to say select thumbnail so people know that they need to enter another image below & make it less confusing for my people.

Hi, I have a few questions before I buy this product. 1. Can I add a pop-up notice, like advertising,product promotion, subscription for a day. 2. Do you have a blank page that allows coding (I want to make download redirect page). 3. Can I add a post from another social network like 9gag? 4. Is it possible to connect/link the site account to social profile so that there is no duplication users (multi accounts) when you log from Facebook/Google. 5. Is it possible to add post like reviews with score or polls, quizes, meme, test (true or false answer), hot or not? I really like the design and that the theme is almost without any plug-ins, gives me the opportunity to add my additional code and integration with another system.

How to add “media” like photo or image on the submit-news form? I can’t see any option to add it in the content section. There is only option to add image on Add Item which only useful if I am about to make a listicle, but what if I only want to create a traditional news with a few images in the content body? Thanks.

Hi! I’m working with Yoast SEO, but I can’t seem to find some of the pages to optimize them. Where can I find: register, login, reset and the profile pages? They’re being index by google and show the SEO settings for the homepage, which is not optimal. Would be awesome if you could let me know! Thanks!
These pages are embedded in template, you can modify those pages in theme editor ,template-register.php, template-login.php ..,

It works, but generates a blank space (around 5px) between header and navigation bar.
You can change it with css code too

Hello! I’ve seen several people in this comment section ask about user verification through email. I noticed people on my website were able to sign up with accidental spelling mistakes in their email, which is a problem might they ever want to reset their passwords. That’s why I’m also very much looking forward to the user verification feature. Do you maybe have an indication of when this feature will be available for download / added with a theme update?
