I want to buy an review theme for my new website https://topreview.vn I found this and love the design so much, just some question about the theme: 1. My website is not for game, housewares product review only, can i change to another theme for this purpose, a clean and clear style? 2. Each product can i have many difference review with a website rating point and user rating point, then can i sort them to Top 1, Top 3, Top 5, Top 10 by the average point. EX: i have 15 difference review about the difference Television model, but i can sort to show Top 5 best TV on my system to show as an article? Many thanks
Hi there,
1) If you want to change the theme colours you can do this from the theme options panel.
2) I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean, do you have an example on another website?
Please set this theme price to the reasonable level
Since you stopped providing the support with it, 19$ is a fair price for it.
Hi there,
This theme is not recommend for new customers. Envato does not offer a way to retire a product, so the theme has been priced higher to deter new users from purchasing it, but it makes it available for existing customers for compatibility and security updates.
Hello, Presale questions: (Amazing theme BTW!!!)
1. Can we use the Memberpress (https://memberpress.com/plugin) to allow for paid memberships?
2. Can we also use the plugin Content Views Pro (https://www.contentviewspro.com/) to showcase various searches for hub pages? We have used them for blog posts with tags to organize content and it looks amazing. Since your theme uses pages vs posts, I am not sure how it would work with Content Views Pro. Content Views Pro works with pages, posts and custom post types, but as far as tags, I am not sure how your tags differ from traditional post tags.
Thanks!
Hi there,
1) I have not tested this with plugin with the theme so I can’t see unfortunately.
2) Hub pages are ordinary pages, so it sounds like they will work. Hub categories and hub fields are custom taxonomies. Again, if it supports custom taxes, then they may work too. However I’ve not tested this plugin so I can’t say for sure.
Hello.. Presale questions. I want to use this theme for a book reviewing site. according to the demo, it shows categories, developer, publisher, genre etc.. (in search fields)
1) Can I edit developer section for authors and create profiles (bio) so then users can view and comment/rate them too? publisher for publishers/printers
2) is it possible to make them searchable?
Hi there,
1) You cannot rate authors, you can only rate hub pages (pages which use the hub page template).
2) Make what searchable? Developers, publishers, genres etc? If so, you cannot do this with the theme. These are custom taxonomies, so you’ll need to use a plugin that allows searching of custom tax.
Hope that helps.
So in a browser it says: “Gauge | Multi-purpose…” I tried changing the setting for wordpress itself (settings > general > site Title), but it didn’t work. So where do I edit this at?

Hi there,
This sounds more like a support question than presale question.
I’m using this theme for test purpose…my friend brought it… after testing I will surely buy it
Well you can open a support ticket from your friends account then.
A pre-purchase question. I am quite sure that the option for what I am asking most likely isn’t integrated in the theme, so instead I just want to know, if it would be difficult to make the following changes manually:
On the homepage, just below the header, there is a sorting functionality, where you can sort games by their device, title, comment count, ratings, view count, etc. In the games hub (https://gauge.ghostpool.com/hubs/hub-games/), the right sidebar allows you to additionally filter games by genre, developer, category, etc. Would it be difficult to add the ability to sort/filter results by genre, developer, category, etc. on the homepage?
Hi there,
You can display items on the homepage from specific hub fields only e.g. genre, developer, but there’s no option for frontend filtering as seen in the “Find Games” widget. This is certainly possible, but would be quite involved and would likely require a developer to integrate for you.
Thanks, I have another question, if I may:
If I open any single game page (e.g. https://gauge.ghostpool.com/call-of-duty-ghosts/), I see can access user reviews only as a separate page. Is there a possibility to make user reviews appear immediately on the game page, as, for instance, it is with your other theme (https://huber.ghostpool.com/demo-games/injustice-2/)?
Better yet. is it possible that people, instead of writing reviews for the game, could write comments instead and they would appear immediately in the game page? In other words, would it be possible to make it able for people to comment on the very game page?
1) Yes you can display user reviews on the main hub page.
2) Hub pages do not support comments by default, you’ll need to edit the hub page template to do this.
I just want to clarify this detail:
When you say “Yes you can display user reviews on the main hub page,” do you mean to say that I can add a separate tab of “User reviews” alongside other tabs (i.e. alongside “News,” “Videos,” etc.) or that I could display user reviews directly on the main hub page, below the black table with game details? I am interested precisely in the latter option.
You can do both.
Is there a way to completely remove the hub category slug? Thanks!

I wish you could see everyone’s ratings on a game/movie. I also wish you could click on a user and see everything they’ve rated! I’d pay extra for those features.

Hi there,
Sorry the theme doesn’t have these features. At the moment I am not able to take on your project, but I can refer you to my developer OurWebMedia who handle a lot of my customers custom projects. You can contact them at https://www.ourwebmedia.com/ghostpool.php?aff=2 and they will be able to give you a quote for this work.
Awesome. I put in a ticket. Thank you.
I just bought this theme yesterday and paid to have the demo content installed through Envato since when I went through the import process, not everything got imported.
The theme is there but I can’t tell if everything functions since it does not contain everything like the demo site.
The Envato developer told me: “He imported the demo content, but it doesn’t include the same content like the demosite.”
He advised I cancel my job. That doesn’t help me.
Please advise; Is “all” the demo content included in the download? It’s not loading via the import function.
what do you advise, thank you.
Website: http://seanevansreviews.comHi there,
I have responded to your ticket on the support site.
Hello, does your theme have any compatibility with Google Maps or location based apps. i.e. Can you use a Google Maps Plugin? Also, could you do manual code to add a specific page with locations of the services you’ve reviewed so users could search a location near to them? Basically, i want to review restaurants where users can search there location and all the restaurants come up based on their location proximity. Thanks for your help.
Hi there,
Google maps will work with the theme.
The theme does not provide functionality for linking reviews to Google map locations unfortunately.
Thanks for your response.
Do you have any plans to include functionality for linking google maps with reviews in the future? Could this be done by a simple hyperlink?
Also, can you allow the review ratings to be influenced by members?
Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks.
1) There are no plans for this currently. I’m not sure, I’m not familiar with how Google maps links reviews.
2) User ratings and site rating are completely separate.
Hi, can the theme be used simply as a magazine for articles?
Yes absolutely.
perfect then I will make the purchase because u can see it and I must say that I really like it very much …
Great Theme, but i have 2 Questions. How can i change the header image of the tag page: https://pixelcritics.com/tag/review/ for example? Now its transparent
and is there a way to change the date modified in the ranking blog (top games) to half a year – there are only last week, last month and last year available. Thanks in advance!

Is their a way to reorder the Hub page menus (e.g. Dead Space, Review, News, etc.)? Also can a Hub Review have more than one Review page? I’d like to have something like: Electronic Arts, Review, Retro Review, News, & Video. My site reviews developers & publishers so I’d like to have a review about today (the business) and the Retro Review is a review of the company before DLC existed. I tried just adding another Review page with the template, but it removes the score from the hub review page.
EDIT: Never mind about the “page ordering” I found a plugin for that.

Just bought this. I noticed it has a Maintenance Page. Do we have to use some plugin to activate it or is it in the theme options & can we edit the page (can’t check now waiting for domain name to propagate)?
I figured it out: Yes & “Customize” link than set as homepage.
Pre-Sales Query. Hi, I’m looking for a template for a review site, and I’m interested in not just an overall rating score but also being able to break the ratings score down into different categories, so that both the site and users can review on these different criteria. 1. Is that something I can do with the gauge template on its own, or it is necessary to combine it with your Ultimate Reviewer plugin (which I understand works with the gauge template and comes bundled with the WPBakery Page Builder plugin). 2. With the Ultimate Review plugin, is it posible to use a combination of different ratings formats (eg. percentages & stars) in the same post? Thanks for your help
Hi there,
1) Gauge allows you to break site ratings down by criteria, but no user reviews. The Ultimate Reviewer plugin does both. Ultimate Reviewer does come with WPB plugin, and so does Gauge.
2) It depends on how you want to add different ratings on a post. So you can’t have different symbols (percentage and stars) for a single group of criteria relating to the same site rating or average user rating for example.
Please can you provide us with demo login just to see how it looks like?
Hi there,
Unfortunately there is no demo login. What do you want to look at specifically. I provide screenshots on the item page so you can see what the backend interface looks like.
Just want to know how the dashboard/profile for the member actually looks like
The backend interface for profiles? This is just the standard interface you see on any WordPress site with BuddyPress installed.
What is the difference between this theme and the HUBER theme.
Hi there,
This is explained on the Huber theme item page at the bottom: https://themeforest.net/item/huber-multipurpose-review-theme/19858260
Awesome theme, but I think I’ve found a big. The Hub synopsis doesn’t support shortcodes, for example from WP Bakery page builder. It would be nice to have those elements visible in archive pages view.
Hi there,
The hub synopsis doesn’t support shortcodes where it’s used as an excerpt – excerpts don’t typically display shortcodes as they’re only meant to show a small amount of text.
However the synopsis does support shortcodes when displayed on the main hub page.
If you don’t see this then it’s likely you need to update the theme.
Indeed, shortcodes are supported on hub page, but it would be absolutely essential for me to display them on archive pages as excerpt. I have bought your theme a while ago, and, even if I think it is a great theme, I have failed to use it on any of my websites just because of small issues like this one.
Ah, never mind, it’s actually very simple to solve this, I just had to select Content Display – Full content instead of Excerpt in Hub categories. Finally gonna use your theme
