We just bought the Autima wordpress theme, but we are thinking about running a shopify website instead. The problem is before we installed the wordpress theme, we already tried another shopify theme but it didn’t work for us.
My question is if we buy and install this shopify theme too, and decide to return one of the themes (Autima wordpress or the shopify), will you accept it?

I customer brought to my attention that the product page images are not loading properly. Issue: When you click on any of the thumbnails instead of replacing main image what it does is to open the image in a new window. (Zoom in is working fine) I tried to solve the issue by looking into the theme documentation but I could not see any thing under Product Page Documentation. This is caused by the last time customization you’ve made. The one related to open social links in new tab.
Remove that code and you’ll see it working fine.

Found a quick solution: I manage to remove the code for open external links in new tab that you helped to implement and that fixed the image issue. Now to fix the external links to open in new tab I found this quick solution in Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlDyilRHckE

The maximum limit is 8 but if you want to increase then you need to increase the value of ‘max_blocks’ on brands.liquid section file.
I added six, but on a desktop only show 5 and iphone only display 2 one next to each other. it looks like in order to fit 6 or 8 on the desktop the logos have to be an specific size other wise only 5 keep showing up and rest remain hidden. Also, I added a heading Featured Brands but is not showing on the front-end. For a moment I thought that this section is similar to the feature category section that displays previous and next arrows if all categories do not display at once. They are five but they can be moved around as they are inside a slider. Try moving.
What do you mean with try moving? As you can see out of 6 only 5 shows on desktop and 2 in mobile. The images seems to be static images and there is no slider navigation showing up same as in your demo. (in your demo and in my site looking at the source code I saw some java script code related to slider commented out I do not know if you did that in purpose in Autima Theme) (Also you forgot about the issue with the heading not showing up) FYI you still have access to my site.

I see now, the user has to assume that there is more which makes no sense as any user including me will just click on any of the logos without knowing that there is more. Normally the way to let the user know about a slider is to make to slide automatically or add navigation such as arrow or dots. That being said, does this slider has navigation that can be activated? In the section settings you only have Heading and the field to Write the any heading you want, there is no setting to turn off or on. You only have On and Off for sections. Please advice, thank you

No its not. Shopify themes have css, js files and its views render into html files. Every web page that you see is made up of html tags then how is it misleading.
Other than that it is clearly shown in in the title that it is a Shopify theme.
Your case seems a pure case of change of mind which is not a valid reason to issue a refund per themeforest policy.

Hi thank for the reply. Affirm is not an app, is a payment method and is been on since the site is online. Note: The issue started after we added the code for the links to open in a new window. (I had sales before we added the code.) I did contact Shopify customer support but they said the issue is with the theme. FYI I have not installed any apps this year. Can we undo or comment out what we did a couple of days ago? I do not know what exactly you did so I will not be able to do it. (Did you work on menu.js file only? ) Thank you

It is unclear whether you’re talking about adding sidebar categories or vertical mega menu. If you’re talking about vertical mega menu then you need to create a menu on navigation tab and then add that on theme header settings area option ‘Vertical Menu’ . It will show the vertical menu then.
If you’re talking about something else then kindly share a screenshot of the issue for better understanding.

I’d like to use a darker color for the theme’s mid header BG. The problem is that when I do this the shopping cart icon is not readable (dark on dark).
I could change the Heading Default Color to white, which makes the cart icon show nicely, but then I lose visibility of heading in the Service Box section which has a white background.
Ideally, I would like to just change the shopping cart icon to white and I believe my problem would be solved. Is there an easy way to do this?

It is showing but very small. The reason is that your logo is too large in size. You need to do two things to make it loo fine. Crop/Remove the white space on the right and also reduce it size to show it nicely on both desktop and mobile.

Hey, I have bought the theme 2-3 days ago and have started using it with my clients shopify store. I have made it work for my requirements. However I only have 1 issue that I am not able to figure out on my own.

Hey, so I have another question. It kind of a modification but since you will not have to write anything extra and everything is already done so I thought I should ask for some help.
Basically I want the browse Categories in all pages, currently its only in main page which is how it is supposed to be. But what I want is that I can see “Browse Category” in collection pages and if possible in single product pages as well as left sidebar just like homepage. I know the relevant code for “Browse Category” is in “main-menu-ver.liquid” file but I do not know how I can use it as it is in collection template and if possible in product page.
Can you please guide me?
Plus I want to remove tab1 from all products as well. Also for review to work which app do I need to install?

1 – The required functionality is already available in the header layout 2. Select ‘design 2’ on header section as shown here, https://nimb.ws/s25ong , and you’ll get the vertical menu on all pages.
3 – The theme by default supports Shopify product review app, https://apps.shopify.com/product-reviews .
Yeah I figured out the Tab 1 and review issue. Fixed it. But I do not need it the way it is in header 2. I am trying to replace sidebar with categories, that will be visible all the time like a side bar. Is it possible?
The reason is that my website has so many options as sub cat when i used header2 and tried to scroll the subcat always closes.
I feared it won’t be possible for us to customize it. We do help our user in customization of the small taks but it becomes hard to customize a time consuming major changes.

You can just guide me and I can make the change myself. I know liquid but since you know how the theme works it will be much appreciated if you can help me. I know where the code for category is and I have tried placing it in as well it simply did not work. This is the last thing that I need to make this theme work.
I have just tried including {% include ‘main-menu-ver’, c:false %} in “collection-sidebar.liquid”. I know I am pretty close and I can understand what might be wrong is that its loop basically that has no data to loop so the ul is empty.

Well the option is meant for another message area but if you need to hide the option as well then follow the guidelines provided in the screenshot below and it will work out for you.

I believe it would be helpful for me and for anyone else who purchased or is thinking on buying your theme, if you were more specific is your replies. Remember that we buy themes like yours as final users not developers.
Well you’re right that we need to make it minimal for the user to touch the code but honestly speaking not everything can be added to settings. No matter how much options you provide, there will still be things that user will need customization with. We’ll try to add the options in our future upgrade but for the time being it has to be handled from the code.
Hi, I have another issue: When click on view cart there is a checkbox with term and condition and wont let you check out with out click on it. If I just click on checkout I do not see any terms checkbox which is good. How can I deactivate terms check box from cart page? Thank you!

Another Issue: On the home page the feature categories with layout design2 is not loading the arrows on iphone. only shows a gray line. Your demo 4 has also the same issue.
Well it was intentionally kept this way but if you need to show it then you need to turn false into true where ever it shows ‘nav: false’ in ‘categories-section2.liquid’ especially for responsive layouts

The reason of using navigation is to make the list of featured categories more compact without loosing any of them, plus it will be responsive as it will show 2 at the time on a mobile device and 6 at the time on a desktop. That way is more logical.
Also, on Collection Page, Listing View option is showing the product title after Add to cart button, and the preview is not working, The option is selected as list and still shows grid if I select grid still shows list. is a whole mess. The front end still displays as Grid. Something is going on with this option is not playing well with Shopify system. Can you please test in your demo to see if get the same issue.
Note: Unless the setting for the default collection view is set somewhere else. Please advice.
Also where is the setting to hide or show availability on product page? or at least show like in your demo just the words in stock (My store shows like this 5 in stock) Thank you!
Please disregard comment about Stock Availability, I just reload the page and is showing in stock text only not the qty.

I understand regarding the stock availability question. How about the fact the home feature categories is only showing 2 categories on mobile devices and not showing the navigation arrows to see all featured categories? Your earlier reply was not clear, I would appreciate if you are more specific on how to fix it (I believe this is not a customization) Is an opportunity to fine tune your theme. Thank you.
These are design decisions that we make keeping the design aesthetics that we like to keep. If you want it different then you can change it to your likings and for it i gave you solution. Search for the ‘categories-section2.liquid’ file on edit screen and you’ll get to it. Then go through it as explained above and you’ll get your required result.
Just to make sure you understand, this is not an aesthetics issue. if you are selling a theme that has an specific section that works on desktop, as expected it has to work on mobile devices as well. As that the file you are referring to is not on the list of files. It is working fine for all the other buyers and i’ve never said to just check in the section tab. There are files under other tabs as well. The file will be under snippet tab. There is a search box towards the top. Had you inputted the name into it, you’d have got the file.

The functionality can be achieved using sidebar filters but for that you need to add product tags in a specific format against the products. You need to PREPEND all relevant tags with the name of the group you want them to be in, with the format Group_Tag Name e.g. for group “Size” it should be
Size_Small, Size_Medium, Size_large
