Hello, I currently have the Snow theme with version 1.1.9 and I have version 6.6 of WordPress. My question is if updating Snow to version 1.4.2 will have a big impact and if I won’t have any problems when updating it?

Hello… I got this theme from Envato Elements with no support unfortunately but I’m sure this is an easy fix…. when using the Demo One Page Agency… I need to know what I change the custom link to in the menu so it doesn’t go back to the demo site? (https://wp.nkdev.info/snow/demo-one-page-agency/#about) When I change it to my URL it gives me a 404 error. I know this is a simple fix I’m missing. Please help!
Figured out the menu… it’s https://yoururl.com/#nameofcolumn... in the custom link in Menu just put /#nameofcolumn

Both plugins say it requires a license activated but on your description you say that these 2 plugins update are included with the theme..
P.S. I don’t have an Envato purchase code because I used Envato Elements to download the theme (but I paid for the subscription!!).

BUG REPORT – After the last Theme update (1.4.0) Visual Portfolio Layouts using the “Fly” Item Style with Item Click Action “URL” are getting stuck in Safari and Firefox browsers. Example: https://pretty-amazing.com/portfolio/ click any item, click back, notice how the item you clicked is stuck in the mouseover state.
(overwriting the snow folder on the webserver with a copy of snow 1.3.4 folder will make it stop sticking, but I’m leaving 1.4.0 live on the link I posted so you can see what it’s doing)

I don’t think it is a bug or something that we may fix. Since Visual Portfolio v2.2.0 we added styles to work with “focus” state. If you try to click on the “Tab” key, you will see that once items get focused, the overlay will be visible.
This change is needed for Screen Readers. I think that Safari keeps the focus state when you click on the Back button and I’m not sure we will fix it.

Thanks for explaining. We’ll just use a style other than Fly. It’s a pretty effect, but functionality is more important to us. Fade does a similar thing in Safari, but it least it seems to clear a stuck focus when you click another item.
Anyway, I have added this to our issue tracker. We’ll check it in the next updates.

nK images carousel appears to break if you only give it 1 image. OnClick Popup doesn’t load the image in a modal with controls, and Style 3 crops the image instead of fitting it. If you give it 2 or more images it works very nicely. It would be preferable if you could also give it just 1 image, so that you could have a consistent experience viewing images throughout a site.
I have a couple more bugs to report :
1. mobile menu content does not display at all on iOS 10
2. some mobile menu items cannot be accessed on current iOS on an iPhones in landscape orientation (menu does not scroll, so anything below 2nd or 3rd item (depending on phone size) cannot be accessed without changing orientations)
clarification on # Mobile Navigation Type set to “Side” works, but “Fullscreen” is blank on iOS 10

Thank you for reporting to me. We’ll check the carousel, but I’m not sure it will be fixed, as this is the carousel plugin, that should be used for at least 2 images. The mobile menu scroll also will be checked and fixed. iOs 10 will not be checked, as it is an outdated version.

If you have multiple Portfolio Layouts when you click on “Next Work” or “Previous Work” it does not regard the category or layout you were in. Is it possible to make those links respect layout or category taxonomies?

This is very disappointing. This theme is positioned as “an excellent choice for the presentation of your beautiful portfolio”, but if your portfolio is typical of the industry you will have categories (lifestyle, commercial, motion, etc) and when someone selects one of those categories we think it is reasonable to expect it to stay in that category until you either go back to “All” or pick another category.
This is how WordPress posts work by default. Filtering just works for layouts view (same as filtering in eCommerce plugins).
We will add a popup preview (same as on Behance or Dribbble) in Visual Portfolio PRO plugin, but it just in plans yet.

Hi, I have a problem with the logo image. I put an image (.png and .jpg 286×71 px) but it doesn’t show up in the header. Also I’m using the 1.1.9 version of the theme and when I update it to the last version, I lose all my layout and images.. Can anyone help me please?

Hi, unfortunately I’m working on an offline version at the moment.
I’ve changed the logo from the appearance > navigation > logo page. It’s quite strange because when I select an image, the logo disappear, from the html code too.
I did an update of everything. Now I’m using the last version of the theme and the snow core plugin.

Hi, I’m back again on this error.
I have updated last version of wordpress (5.3.2) and last version of snow theme (1.3.3) but when I put an .jpg or .png or any image in the logo field in Customizer, I can’t see my logo in the header. I’m working on a local site version, but I see that if I activate KIRKI plugin the $logo variable has value equal to NONE and in my website there isn’t any div about logo, it’s like disappeared. When I deactivate the KIRKI plugin I can see the default “Snow” logo(logo.svg) without problem.
KIRKI plugin is not tested with last wordpress version. Are there maybe something problems/bugs on that?
