Very dissapointed with the theme installation and installing dummy data. I keep getting the error “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.” while importing the widget data. After installing demo contents, the pages never show as what we see in the demo of themeforest. Can someone help me ?

I have a question about an included plugin WP Bakery Page Builder. After the new WP update and integration of new “block” system, it seems to be causing issues on reloading previously made pages and displaying the white screen of death when activated to edit.
Although the pages display correctly on the front end, on the back end, neither old or new pages can be edited in the Page Builder WP Bakery. Set up as the default builder and the classic disabled, the addition of elements do not reflect on preview.
I went through the update process, and the plugin is still requesting an update to 5.6, while continuing to update to 5.4. Could this the cure to my issue? Is the theme compatible to the new version of WP?
I’ve previously purchased support 2 times already, I’m hoping that I can pull the loyalty card and get a pass on some assistance on direction on how to fix this.

Don’t need to extend your purchase, just watch for upcoming update which will be ready in few hours. New version of WPBakery plugin and Rosie theme will work as expected (WordPress 5 compatibility checked), no issues with block editor.

Hello there again… Thank you for your assistance before, after the update release, everything was operating good.
Unfortunately, now I am noticing the page options and portfolio options for individual posts are no longer available. Options like; Master slider or Revolution, hide page title, custom header options. Same goes for the options for new Portfolio items…
I saw in a previous comment where you’ve tried to correct similar issues for someone else, just wanted to see what I could do to troubleshoot as well. I went through the unpackaged plugins to see if one caused the error but no luck.
If possible, could I email you screenshots showing you what I see on my end?

Please try to deactivate of the plugin which is not come bundled within your theme so we can learn if related with any of them. And also please make sure you have latest version of the theme.

First try to deactivate all bundled plugins, download latest version from themeforest of Rosie theme, update your theme, and once theme update completed process for updating bundled plugin on your dashboard (you will be asked to updated your plugins automatically), and activate all bundled plugins back.
Note: Better take a fully backup of your site, due to, for too long no update applied on your site.

Hello. I work with webdesign in EU, and now GDPR is a big issue when it comes to our clients that are ranging between major and minor companies. I went through much of your documentation, but didn’t get any information about GDPR and if your theme(s) will have issues with it.
In other words, I want to know: Are you getting any kind of information from websites through your themes? Are they forwarded to second or third parties? If you do, I need to know what, since that has to be included in the GDPR disclosure for the users and especially the companies.

Since our theme is working on WordPress, all WordPress GDPR rules are applied. We are only storing cookies in our theme to check if the user already liked a post or not. BTW, the plugins may have their own rules and cookies too.

I recently changed the home background video in visual composer row settings, and now on iOS mobile, the placeholder still graphc doesnt show and only black background filled container shows instead. My placeholder image flashes for a split second, and then is filled with the black background fill on iOS mobile. works on android. I updated to Wordpress Version 4.9.4& Rosie version Version: 3.3 and Visual Composer 5.4.4 – Now my Visual composer text blocks look when you try to edit, The visual editor for the text block element has a white background with white (invisible) text until highlighted. I deactivated every plugin to make sure it wasn’t a 3rd party conflict.
I fixed this, had to do with the permissions of the TINYmce files and random .htaccess files in case someone has the same issue.
On mobile, is there any way to display the shopping cart? I have it as a widget in my mobile menu, but it would be much more intuitive if the cart displayed on that top area. Similar to how it displays on desktop.

On desktop, there is a little shopping bag with the total displaying as items are added to the cart (menu-item menu-item-wc ozy-ajax-shoping-cart). That is what I am trying to get to show up on the mobile header/where the search glass appears.

Yes, just tested on development environment, it is working as expected. Have you tried to add that CSS end of style.css file?
