I recently purchased the template and “npm install” failed near node-gyp commands giving ” Can’t find Python executable “python”, you can set the PYTHON env variable.”
1. does it require python? I can use it without python? 2. Most of the dependencies are out of date and deprecated. can I use latest on all of them? or can you please update the template with recent active versions?

1) Please try following steps.
1.1 remove package-lock.json and yarn.lock and yarn-error.log
after removing these files after that run:
npm cache clean—force
then you must run the command:
npm install
Let us know if that works.
2) No please don’t since latest react version has slightly different code structure, I will release an update soon.

Hi, I deleted package.lock.json, I didn’t have yarn.lock and yarn.error.log. And I followed steps but still getting dependency error “ERESOLVE unable to resolve dependency tree”, I tried to run “npm install—legacy-peer-deps” and it gives gyp verb `which` failed Error: not found: python2. It gives problem with “npm install—force” as well. Can I message you somewhere with error snip or small video? Thanks, Nimesh

Can you please check if .babelrc & .eslintrc files are there in the root ./ if not please upload those files few systems like mac etc hide those files you might have skipped copying those, one you have done that try again if you still experience issue let us know.
