You can only allow all users to post regular articles with help of the User Role Editor plugin. But mandatory fields are not possible with the existing functionality.

Theoretically, you can adjust the theme code the way you like it, if you are a skilled coder or you have a possiblity to give this task for outsourcing. But we don’t provide customization services in scope of the included support services, and for additional fee either. Our team is simply not available for customization services right now.

When put items in woocommerce cart, javascript does not work. (ex. Header become not sticky,Other plugin’s javascript does not work). Tested by stopping all plugins exclude those related to olympus.

1. Are there any other languages this theme is coming with, such as Russian for example? // 2. Can members create events or articles? I don’t see this option when i’m logged in the demo…

1. There are language files in the theme and all plugins bundled with it. You can translate all the text strings to any language with help of the Loco Translate plugin.
2. By default users can’t create article and events. But you can extend their permissions with help of the User Role Editor plugin.

Thanks for your awesome theme. Just want to clarify before purchase. Does the social media template in this theme have other social media sharing functions like repost etc for posts shared by user or members? Can the users share native videos apart from the youtube link videos directly in the post just like facebook such as videos from other video hosting source, for instance vimeo, cloudflare stream, self hosted videos and native videos (videos uploaded directly to the the theme) ? And can members repost the post within the theme itself? Also, with this theme, is it possible to create pages similar to facebook pages within the theme itself?

Unfortunately, there is no option to repost other users’ posts. It is also not possible to create pages similar to Facebook. All available pages and features are represented on the Olympus demo website. As for the videos, you can upload self-hosted videos and post links of the Vimeo videos. I’m not sure about the other video types. But you may wan to test it yourself, if you request a trial installation via info@crumina.net

I am building a community site with the Olympus theme.
I basically wants to run a forum site with a side blog.
I don’t want users to create groups, send friend requests or private messaging. I know how to remove some of these features
I rather Want Registered members to be able to follow other members they want and get notifications when those members create topics, comment in their post, be able to tag each others etc. But I don’t know how I can do this with the theme…is it possible? Where do I access such settings please. If you have any other resource that will be useful for me please share

By default there are no such options in Youzer plugin. You can try a BuddyPress Follow plugin, that allows following users. However I don’t know if it allows getting notifications of the followed users activity.

How do I update the theme without losing all my customisations?

If you haven’t updated to WordPress 5.3. you can update the theme with help of the Envato Market plugin https://envato.com/market-plugin/
If you have already updated to WordPress 5.3. and you don’t have access to your admin dashboard, you can update manually, by uploading the theme files va FTP https://support.crumina.net/help-center/articles/69/88/370/manual-updating

I believe the question was updating without losing any customizations I have made.
If you haven’t modified theme files inside the parent theme, then updating will run without loosing any of your customizations. If you did make some files modifications, we recommend you to move them to the child theme before running update.

The theme itself is pretty light. But i is bundled with the number of plugins like BuddyPress, Youzer and Woocommere that are very heavy. The more plugins you install, the slower your website becomes. To speed up your website, we recommend a quality hosting and to disable all unnecessary plugins.

Why is it there no option to remove stunning header on the Olympus theme. I saw such option in the documentation I read just above the padding setting but nothing like that on my dashboard setting under customise>stunning header>general.
The first thing visible to me is padding setting.
