Hello,
I want to use your awesome theme for my friend’s bike shop but before I buy I’ve a question, Elementor comes with pro license or should I get my own to use all features?
Thank you.
Hey there!
Elementor PRO can be purchased separately. I would’ve loved to be able to bundle it with Rey theme, but unfortunately Elementor team doesn’t offer licenses that would allow this.
On the good side though, Elementor PRO is not mandatory. In all my demos, for everything that i’ve made, i didn’t needed EPRO so i’m not sure you’re going to need it.
Thanks!
Marius
Nice theme, planning on buying. Few questions:
1. What is the Multi Currency for WooCommerce plugin supported (there are few almost the same plugins)?
2. What does it mean Multi language ready (which plugin)?
3. Is the promo pricing (special price, discount) in percentage (20%), or price based ($20 reduced) based on the time frame (number of days, or until specific day)?
Hey there!
Thank you for your interest! Let’s see:
1) Currently these two:
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-currency-switcher/ (bloated, ugly and old, but is the most popular)
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-multi-currency/ . I recommend this one. It’s clean and works great.
2) Initially i added support for WPML, Polylang and QtranslateX , however the latter got discontinued.
3) No, it’s just a mathematical calculation based on Sale vs Regular price, which isn’t based on a timeframe. Basically just by adding a Sale price, this discount percentage will be shown (of course if chosen). I think something like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-discount-rules/ might help for this kind of thing, however i don’t think it will work with this discount badge that’s shown in my theme. If you’re interested though, i could add support for it.
Marius
Thanks for the fast replay. So, for the multi currency no need for the https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-multi-currency/20948446? For multi-language will WPML work well?
Well, the one that you mention is the PRO version of this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-multi-currency/ and as far as i checked there are some differences, for example the free one only supports 2 currencies. There’s a whole list of differences between Free and PRO version, and it probably depends on your needs.
Yes, WPML should work well.
Thank you!
Marius, I didn’t find any time to deal with the theme lately, but I’m happily following the changeling and the time and effort you put in updating the theme is just amazing.
Do you have any plans on adding a more luxury-like demo soon? For example, I’m going to redesign a winery’s identity soon and I would love to use your theme for it. Although it’s overall style is more flat and somehow technical, I could image the theme to go along really great with the hand-craft style of a winery. Is this something you could think of or is this wish of a demo too detailed?
Hey there!
Yes, one of the next demos is called Bordeaux and is actually for Winery, and exactly as you put it, more hand-craft style.
I would love to be able to move faster, but unfortunately i don’t think i can publish earlier than the end of January. Hope that’s not too late. I have some priorities established and want to be a bit strict with them.
Thanks!!
Marius
That’s great news, don’t hurry
One more thing: I may be mistaken, but I think you talked about adding a dynamic background color change (like seen at the WooCommerce part on the demo overview page) in one of the previous comments. Has such a feature already been added or do you have plans on that? Besides, does the theme support to change between light/dark header for certain page sections?
That for sure is in my tasklist but it’s a feature i must pay a good attention because that color/background-color switch can become a performance issue if not done right. The browser has to repaint a lot of stuff and can result in a page lag.
My landing page is plain HTML and i managed to optimize it, but in WordPress with Elementor, it’s different (the markup is different, compatibility with other features etc).
Will definitely add it likely till the end of December. Hope that’s ok.
Thanks again!!
Hi, I love the demos of your theme. When you will release San Francisco demo? So, I can buy the theme ?
Hey Nick,
Thank you! To be honest it might take a while because i prioritised other demos. Were you in search for an “electronics” based theme, or you just liked the layout?
Thanks!
Marius
I really liked the layout
Hello!
I loved your theme, I am thinking of buying it. But I would like to know if you will put some more elements, such as:
Size guide buy together / bundle Accordion and tab element for pages, such as FAQ.
is it possible to use plugins like Snapppt, for Instagram Shop?
is it possible to change the wishlist icon?
Thanks
Congratulations on this awesome theme!
Hey there!
Thank you for your interest!! Sure, let’s see:
1. Size guide.
Yes, been planning to add this one for a while. Since you brought it up i’ll add it in the next version. Do you have any suggestions of how you’d want it to behave/look or what exactly to contain?
I was thinking something like a button – SIZE GUIDE right under the Add to cart button, and this button to open a modal with custom content, either plain simple text, or even more Elementor built content, which would allow vast flexibility (adding accordions etc.)
2. Buy together / bundle .
I could create something or add compatibility with a popular plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-bundle/ . If i can’t do a better job (or at least as good as a popular plugin) i prefer not to include such feature because at the end of the day Rey is a theme and i would probably complicate it too much. I’m researching on what exactly this functionality consist of and will decide which direction to take. For the moment it’s likely to make compatibility with an existing plugin.
3. Accordion/Tabs .
Yes they’re already existing in Elementor, but I also made a custom feature for Elementor to transform a section into a tab container, and this adds flexibility by allowing any content into Tabs.
Just to point out though, it’s not a great practice to hide content unless it’s really needed.
4. Snapppt for Instagram Shop.
I haven’t used this tool before and i see they’re having a plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/shop-feed-for-instagram-by-snapppt/ . To be honest i don’t see why it wouldn’t work, but if it doesn’t i’d be glad to fix that.
5. Wishlist icon.
Yes, the plugin i used for Wishlist is TI WooCommerce Wishlist and it has an option to use custom icons eg: https://d.pr/i/9Phgqo .
Thanks again!
Marius
Great!
I own these two other themes that have the size guide on it.:
1. On this, the size guide built-in feature, but is only a modal with an image of a size chart. Work fine. This has an extra modal with Shiping and Return detail, but you have this on “Information” tab, that’s great. This theme also has the bundle/buy together feature, but it’s a plugin made by the theme author.
Theme example.http://janstudio.net/claue/demo/product/calvin-klein-logo-sweatpants/
2. On this, the size guide is a plugin, but I believe that´s on theme bundle, but is very similar to this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-advanced-product-size-chart/
Theme example:http://spab-rice.com/wordpress/kona/demo/product/drifter-jeans/
This plugin is the best and simple that you can add to your theme. They have the option to work with multiple charts and I can make a chart or use an image instead.
Thanks .
And the Buy Together plugin, I believe this one is more interesting https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-frequently-bought-together/
Thanks for the links!
Just checked “Advanced Product Size Charts for WooCommerce” and seems to run fine straight out of the box https://d.pr/v/W0dJ3L with the exception of a minor bug that i’ll fix right away . I would only customize the button to look better and add an option to reposition it in the page ( for example after Add to cart ). As far as the code goes, seems to be lightweight (i was a bit worried that it would load some giant modal script ).
On the other hand, if you still need custom buttons, do let me know.
The Buy together looks good in its demo but saw it has this limitation “More than 3 Products Can be select” and requires PRO, and probably that’s a deal breaker. Also i just installed it and it looks broken and not sure why. I’d have to investigated. Also this plugin is v1.0 and no updates released yet for a few months, and it’s a certainty any software has bugs.
Found this one too https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-bought-together/ but it looks a bit ugly and would need some customisations. It also has the same 3 products limitation. I could make it look good though, as far as i saw its options are quite flexible.
The one i like is actually (ironically, a competitor’s item) the Claue theme one. I could also try creating a plugin for this one, but it might take a while as a have a backlog of features i prioritised and not sure how long it might take. Could you estimate a deadline when you need to launch the store and need this feature?
Thanks!
Great!
The buy together feature is not a priority, it’s only a cool feature, don’t need to worry about that, only if you want to put this to upgrade your theme.
But the size guide it is! If you could build a better integration for this would be great, even for your theme itself. Fashion and jewelry stores require this feature. But the way it’s on this demo that you send already works.
And one more question. Is It some way to put on the product tab “Informations” or “specifications” the care signs? Like those that came on the care label on clothes
Like this on custom tab http://janstudio.net/claue/demo/product/mercury-tee/
Claue is a Great theme also, I like a lot, but it has some limitations on customization and doesn’t have many custom elements that match the theme on WPBakery. And I want something more up to date, like yours.
I’ll buy this theme later this week. I’m waiting to receive some money soon. lol lol
I’m in love with the ASOS look like you create on it. I’m searching for a theme like this a long time, and better, you use Elementor, I think it’s better than WPBakery.
Thanks

That’s actually a relief
I’m definitely adding buy together feature and hopefully in a few weeks tops.
Onto Size guide, 100% compatibility and some CSS tweaking is coming up in the next update (probably today or tomorrow).
In regards to the care signs, sure, the “Informations” tab/block is basically an editor and it also supports images or shortcodes eg: https://d.pr/i/4Ke18z . You can also override or disable it on specific products, in the product settings eg: https://d.pr/i/F93v8u . There are also options to append Elementor content in the form of Global sections, right after content or product summary.
I’m so happy you are aware of Elementor vs WPBakery difference. WPBakery is done and even their devs have moved on to another totally different page builder ( Visual composer theme builder ).
Sure Leo, whenever you get the chance to try Rey it would be great.
Thanks again for your interest!
Marius
oh yeah!
I love Elementor since day one! lol lol lol
It’s simple, it’s light, it’s wonderful! lol
I’ve always used the free version, but I’m thinking, If I buy your theme I’ll need the pro version?
And some more questions about Rey Theme.
1. is there any way to use a modal popup for the newsletter form?
2. It is not a priority but is a cool feature. Menu badges, is there any way to add that? Like here: http://janstudio.net/claue/demo/home-2/But don’t need to use on the primary menu, only on the submenu, like in “Product”
3. Is there any way to add info at topbar? Like shipping, phone number, contact email, social accounts, currency and language switcher? example : http://janstudio.net/claue/demo/home-2/ http://spab-rice.com/wordpress/kona/demo/home-stylish/?header=logo-menu-left https://stockie.colabr.io/demo6/4. Is it compatible with Polylang too? or only WPML?
Thanks again!
I’ll buy your theme for sure! I hope you enter on trend themes soon, you deserve it. Very considerate!
Thank you too for your remarks, i appreciate it!
No, you won’t need Elementor PRO if you’ll buy Rey. E. PRO has a lot of interesting features but to keep your site lighter, i recommend it only if you actually need any of its features.
Onto the questions:
1. Yes. I added a cool feature to transform a section into a modal. So basically because it’s a section you could pretty much add any elements inside it.
2. Menu badges currently not supported but i just added into my tasklist to add in the next release. I was never a fan of them but i understand their utility.
3. Yes. Headers can be built with Elementor and i created a specific set of elements adapted for it eg: https://d.pr/i/VU7LtR . Not in the screenshot but supported are Language switcher & Currency Switcher (they’re based on external plugins and they’re only shown when those plugins are enabled).
A cool feature i added for header is the ability to work with inline elements, rather than columns in header. Columns are messy and add a lot of markup, so my solution was to make elements inline with extra options eg: https://d.pr/v/Z49GlR . As far as the header “building” goes, i think it’s the most superior of any other theme out there.
4. Yes, both WPML and Polylang supported. When i developed this i actually added QTranslate support too but saw the plugin is currently outdated.
Thanks again!
Just pushed the new update which contains the compatibility for Advanced Product Size Charts for WooCommerce . They didn’t allowed repositioning or filtering the button’s html so i can quickly customize it and eventually i made my own solution with a custom button & modal, but with the plugin’s content inside the modal. Also dequeued their CSS & JS and used my already built reusable components.
Also added the menu badges support and created an article here describing how to add them https://support.reytheme.com/kb/header-navigation-css-preset-classes/ .
Thanks again for your suggestions!
Marius
Wow! you are the man!
This is amazing!
Can I give you some tips? from someone who is a professional theme searcher. lol lol lol To help you sell more.
I think that right now you don’t need to worry about new demos, you need to improve the buyer experience. Like so:
1. Put a “Demo” item on the menu. For switch between demos without need to back to the landing page. Like here: https://authentictheme.com/authentic/ 2. Put a “Features” item also. For us to see what your amazing theme is capable. Like one the same link above and like here on “elements” https://stockie.colabr.io/ 3. On “Shop” item on the menu, you could add a submenu like here: http://spab-rice.com/wordpress/kona/demo/home-stylish/?header=logo-menu-left and here: https://stockie.colabr.io/to let us know all the types of products and store layouts are available in your theme.
This would be much easier for us to navigate through all demos, pages and product types. And I believe it’ll help you to sell more.
Now some more questions. lol
1. Can you show how is the “out of stock” badge work? if it is available.
2. There’s some way to enable some modal or even a simple form for buyers to fill up when the product is available on the backorder?
3. Is it available on Rey the number of items on the “in stock” sign? like here: https://stockie.colabr.io/product/dining-chair-with-backrest/ don’t need to show all the time like this example, but when the buyer chooses some. For example.I choose a T-shirt size: M color: Red and the sign shows “5 in stock” or “only one left” or “out of stock”
4. Can you leave a review on some product page? For us to see how appears the stars and comments on product page.
5. Are WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger available on the “share” of product page?
Sorry for bothering you with all this questions and suggestions.
I can’t wait to put my hands on it. I waiting for a client to confirm payment. The currency’s difference is a bit high for me, so I need to have separate money for this. :/
Thanks again! I’m mesmerized about your attention to us and your work!
Congratulations again! Carry on!
Thanks again for your kind words, i really appreciate it!!
There’s actually a bottom bar in each demo eg: https://d.pr/v/DNv34k . But given your feedback it seems that it’s not visible. I wanted it to be discrete but i think i made it too discrete
I never liked the idea of filling the main menu with everything the theme has to offer because it’s a nightmare for demo importing and the user will need to cleanup afterwards.
I just added this to my tasklist to find a better way. I actually worked hard on that bar making it completely asynced with the demo and not affect the page load at all.
Let me get to the questions:
1) Sure, access https://demos.reytheme.com/london/product/pale-blue-drawstring-waist-jersey-shorts/ and click on any variation size. The out of stock badge should be shown.
2) No there isn’t but i’m not sure if this is actually needed. I’m thinking that if a product is available on backorder, this should just allow adding the product to cart, even if the inventory is 0, therefore not sure why filling a form would be needed. What do you think?
3) There’s the “Low stock threshold” notice that shows if a product has its stock under this threshold . However, there’s isn’t any option to display stock level. I added this to tasklist to add in future versions. Maybe a low/mid/enough stock indicator too.
4) Sure, just added on this product https://demos.reytheme.com/london/product/pale-blue-drawstring-waist-jersey-shorts/ .
5) There isn’t any option, however it’s easy doable through code and i can send it to you. I’m also adding this as a manageable option. I’m not sure what reason i had for not adding it a while back.
Thanks again Leo, keep the suggestions coming! I may not be able to move too fast but i’m willing to do my best to make this theme as better and better.
This is great! Your theme already is better than others, including these that I show here, I own all of it. The only one that I don’t have any problem with is Authentic because it is a blog theme and doesn’t have any page builder.
Can I make one more suggestion?
The “out of stock” feature. It works fine, but when all of the product options are out of stock, it needs to show on shop page, like when is in a sale price. You can take off the “select option” and change to “out of stock” and “quickview” you can change for a modal like “notify me when available” or only “notify me” and a modal opens with a contact form to fill up.
Sorry, I said it wrong: 2. There’s some way to enable some modal or even a simple form for buyers to fill up when the product is available on the backorder? 2) No there isn’t but I’m not sure if this is actually needed. I’m thinking that if a product is available on backorder, this should just allow adding the product to cart, even if the inventory is 0, therefore not sure why filling a form would be needed. What do you think?
Isn’t backorder what I mean, is out of stock. It is to put a modal or a form to notify the customer when the product is available. A button, maybe with “notify me”.
When I buy it will be easier because I will make tests on my own and stop bothering you…or not. lol lol
Aah yes. This makes total sense and i added to my tasklist for next updates.
Will research to see if it would be better to create my own thing or to ensure full compatibility with a popular solution. My worries is how will i store subscribers, how to automatically send emails on stock update etc. It seems to be a bit complex so my choice at this moment would be to ensure compatibility with a plugin.
As soon as the theme gets a bit more sales so i can afford investments, i will try to buy extended licenses and bundle premium plugins that supercharge any store.
Thanks!
great!
This is a good one, and it’s free. But you need to make some CSS tweaks, I believe.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/back-in-stock-notifier-for-woocommerce/ And Yith plugins always work with some tweaks also. https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-waiting-list/This is a massive plugin, with tons of features for woocommerce, but it needs a good integration with the theme.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/For 4 years I search trough Envato, Colorlib, Wp repository for themes, plugins, etc. I tested a lot of free plugins. lol lol
I hope it helps!

ow! now I found your demo menu! lol lol lol very discreet! put a color on it to pop up a little bit more. A light red maybe. This works very well, better than my suggestion.

Will do that for sure!
Onto the plugins you mentioned i like this one a lot https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/ and definitely want to make it fully compatible. The bad part is that 2 customers had issues with it, with different modules having some bugs in it. I personally like the way it’s jam-packed and modular, so i will make sure it runs smoothly with Rey.
Thanks again!
Disregard
answered my own question. Had to update the theme hah
Hey there!
Haah! Was about to send the reply for your question but noticed it was edited and you found the solution. Great to hear that!
Have a great week!
Marius
Hi there! Thank you for making such a beautiful theme! I wonder would you add IE11 support any time soon. We just adapted your product for one of our clients. And they pointed out why it`s not working on IE11. Yet while buying it i did`nt notice it. But now we are in situation (project is for government with their old odd strict rules) where we need to fix it. So i thought, maybe someone of your clients already had remarks on it, and you willing to upgrade theme any time soon? Even if we will adopt it for IE11, then the rest of your clients won`t benefit of this. Please let me know if this is in your future plans? We have used “Tokyo” theme.
Hey there!
You’re most welcome and thank you as well for using Rey!
Indeed IE11 is partially supported. I added some polyfills to increase compatibility but because i wanted to focus more on the overwhelming majority, i decided to consider IE11 compatibility an optional feature, not a requirement.
All in all, yes, it’s in my plans to continuously improve it on IE11 too, however i will concentrate on making the site as usable as possible, rather than trying to mirror modern browsers.
I can’t share an exact ETA, but since you brought it up, i will prioritize it and rest assured i will take care of it within the next couple of weeks. Hope that’s not too late.
Thanks!
Marius
As a designer myself and selling themes on TH. I believe you would value other suggestions. Here is few from my side. I love all of your homepage designs, but i miss variations of txt pages. I believe your theme would benefit if you’ll make more variations of inside pages especially smallish touches like Tabs, Buttons, UL/LI dot styles, form variations. From Tokyo theme which is designed for e-shop we redo it for simple website designed for Aero Medical Clinic. Where most of info is just txt, forms, tabs and etc. Our clients left speechless once they saw Your adopted design! I think your theme is one of the best designs up here! Good Luck
Thanks again, it makes me very happy to hear this!
I totally understand what you mean. My list of features to add is huge and i’ll continuously push new updates with new stuff.
My initial strategy was to start ecommerce and then gradually go multi-purpose. For example the next demos i’ll launch will be 3 e-commerce with totally different layouts (metro layout for product, masonry etc.) and then a demo for agencies/services/etc. ( with portfolio, new UI, text, tabs and all that ). This will introduce a lot of new features as you mentioned.
Currently the good side is that with Elementor everything is very flexible and at least there are the built-in Elementor’s own templates for pages & blocks eg: https://d.pr/i/kh42V3 .
As an author talking to a fellow colleague, hopefully TF traffic will increase as sales are a bit disappointing and instead of spending too much time trying to promote, i’d rather spend it designing and coding.
Good luck to you too!!
Hey, my client’s website is bugging out. I have padding within a column, but on the front-end, the column has 0 padding, and is not showing the padding that I’ve added. Is there a support ticket I can create? Or, do you know why the site is acting this way? Thx.
Hey!
Sure, drop me a message through my profile page’s contact form https://themeforest.net/user/themefuzz#contact . Would be great if you can share the page where this happens and a temporary admin account so i can double check too.
Thanks!
HI again!
I am having trouble with adding a global section after the product description. I have the generic section built and published, but when I go into Customize > Woocommerce > Product Page Content > After Product Summary, when I go and try to choose a global section for this by clicking on the dropdown arrow, my sections do not show up, nothing does.
I’VE TRIED reading through your support documentations, playing around with every setting, I cannot figure this out. Please help me out!
Thank you.
Hey!
There is an annoying bug that makes global sections to lose their “type” option. That’s because i also added an Elementor page setting option eg: https://d.pr/i/lIVmjc and developed a method to synchronize it with the one from the backend ( eg: https://d.pr/i/pZo8R9 ), however due to the revisions system it kept breaking the synchronization and eventually lose its “type” option.
So in this case because that global section has likely lost its “generic section” type, therefore not showing in the “After content” option list, but was still saved.
As soon as you resave the global section as Generic, the “after content” list should refresh.
While i tried fixing this bug for 3 version iterations, now is fixed and will push an update these next few days. Unfortunately though global sections that have lost their “type” need to be manually re-saved.
Sorry for this bug, it was frustrating for me as i’m sure it was for you as well.
Thank you!
Thanks this worked! So the new update will fix this, right?
You’re welcome. Yes the bug itself will get fixed but unfortunately the global sections that have lost their “type” option, need to be manually re-saved.
Congratulations on creating an amazing looking theme. Just curious, I have Elementor Pro licence – if I activate it on your theme, will it work ok?
Hey there! Thank you so much!
Yes, everything should work as expected. Just recently i added a compatibility patch for Customizer options to load Elementor PRO custom fonts.
From what i tested as much as i could, everything works fine, however i’m also counting on users to report any incompatibility so i can quickly take care of it.
Thanks again!
Marius
How do you connect a mega menu created via (Rey Theme > Global Sections) to a menu item (Appearance > Menus) with the Mega Menu option enabled?
Hey there!
Normally any Global section that has “Mega Menu” type selected eg: https://d.pr/i/pZo8R9 will be shown in Main menu’s “Select Global Section” list option eg: https://d.pr/i/H3PGpu .
Currently i’m aware of a bug that makes global sections to lose their “type” option. This bug is currently fixed and will push an update these next few days.
So my recommendation is to try to make sure the Global section has its type option set. You can always check that by dropping a glance on the Global sections page and Type column eg: https://d.pr/i/qMnCDm .
Thanks!
Marius
Hi/Greetings!
Is there a way to center the product name, when using the Product Grid widget? Is there some code I can paste to fix this? Also, can we add 10px padding within the this widget?
I await your response, thanks!
Hey!
Just checked too as i forgot but i see there isn’t, only globally in Customizer > WooCommerce > Product catalog layout > Content Alignment. This is reasonable enough to be included as an option and i’m adding it now for future updates.
Temporarily, try adding this CSS code into Customizer > Additional CSS:
.woocommerce.reyEl-productGrid ul.products li.product {
text-align: center;
}
.woocommerce.reyEl-productGrid ul.products li.product .rey-productLoop-footer,
.woocommerce.reyEl-productGrid ul.products li.product .price {
justify-content: center;
}
Not sure what exactly you mean by 10px padding. The entire widget? Or in the product items?
For the entire widget the padding settings are in Advanced tab eg: https://d.pr/i/bsQ5Yl . For products themselves there isn’t any option but here is a gap option https://d.pr/i/m0hvBF and should increase the spacing between the products.
Hope this helps!
The code worked, thanks!
Hi Marius, I’ve submitted a ticket about encoding. Now I know when it is happening, when Elementor plugin is activated Cyrillic letters are not displayed. If I change the theme all is fine so it is not server issue. Please check my ticket with this new information about Elementor plugin. Thank you. Pavel.
Hi Pavel,
Haven’t received any email anywhere. From what location did you submitted the ticket? In case you sent the ticket from https://support.reytheme.com/new/ please let me know so i can verify what’s going on with it. In the meantime, you can always drop me messages through my profile page’s contact form at https://themeforest.net/user/themefuzz#contact .
Anyway, onto the issue. I’m not exactly why this is happening but in this encoding topic i could suggest the following.
If you’re using a specific Google font that you need to display Cyrillic letters, try accessing Rey theme > Settings > Font settings and in the Preload option, make sure to select a Subset eg: https://d.pr/i/zMnq3s .
If this has nothing to do with the problem, please send me an URL and if possible, temporary access to the admin so i can investigate what exactly is happening.
Thank you!
Marius
Hi! I had my client buy the theme. So far, so good. I noticed there’s no Entrance Animations? They seemed disabled, or missing. You get them with the free version of Elementor, and they are quite useful. How can I get them back? Thanks.
Also, how do I display the “Add to Cart” option on the shop pages for the products? I see “Select styles” but the add to cart is not visible. How do I fix this?
Hi there!
Thanks for getting back and using Rey for your client’s project!
Indeed i removed the default animation effects list and added some custom effects that are a bit differently thought. My implementation was thought as animating elements within a section sequentially. And because they’re not compatible with Elementor default ones i had to disable them by default. I did however added an option into Rey theme > Settings > Misc. settings tab – Enable Elementor Animations . If you disable this option, Elementor will add back its default Entrance animation options.
By the way i’m renaming the title & description because i totally understand now why one might find it confusing.
In regards to your other question about the Add to cart button. That’s the default WooCommerce behaviour for variable products. A variable product is basically composed from multiple variations of a particular product, such as sizes or colors etc. and they’re considered different products that can support different prices, discounts etc.
So when a product should be added to cart, WooCommerce expects the user to select the variation first, and then enable adding the product to cart. This is why the “Select Styles” or “Options” etc. is shown. If you want to have Add to cart buttons, you can swap the product type to Simple eg: https://d.pr/i/4rbnrw .
Thanks! Marius
Amazing! Going to check these suggestions in the coming day, will get back if I need more assistance. Thanks so much
Good day! Why there is no “add to cart” button in Valencia demo? Is it an option to turn the webshop on and off? If yes, can it be done on category level? I mean one category available for sale online, another only as catalogue, without add to cart button. Thank you.
Hey there!
Good day to you too!
Exactly. There’s an “Enable Catalogue mode” switch that is disabling ecommerce functionalities, such as Add to cart buttons.
WooCommerce has a built-in filter called “is_purchasable” that is setting the store default for this. I’m basically just hooking into this filter and disable it. So there isn’t any option to disable ecommerce functionality for certain category product.
However this can be achieved with some custom scripting and i can help out to send you the code.
The feature itself is very interesting though and i will add it as an option. I tend to keep a low number of built-in default options so it doesn’t seem too complex especially for first time users, however i’m planning on releasing a plugin addon, which will append a larger number of customization options.
Thank you!
Marius
Many thanks for prompt reply.
ThemeFuzz, your design work is amazing.
I am loving the new Rey Templates, the way they look and the way the system works is great.
Pete
Hi Pete!
Thank you so much, i really appreciate!! Promise to keep adding good stuff, new awesome demos and keep it light as well.
Have a great day sir!!
Marius
Hi,
I am interested in purchasing this baby!
But I’ve noticed some “Quick View” options for certain products on your demos that do not work. Please see—https://demos.reytheme.com/melbourne/ for an example – at the Weekly Picks where the bags are, the quick view option when clicked just keeps on loading and nothing happens.
Will this happen if we purchase the theme?
Happening on this demo too: https://demos.reytheme.com/london/home-alt/
Hey there!
Thank you so much for your interest and for letting me know!
Indeed, that shouldn’t happen at all. From a quick check i see it’s definitely a bug. I’m looking into it right now and fix it. Sorry about that!
Marius
Please let me know when it’s fixed, I will take a second look. Thanks!
Great, just fixed it. Thanks again for letting me know!
Marius
Hey, just checked it on my end! It loads, but just a grey black box. Any idea?
Secondary question, I’ve noticed when you click “Add to Cart” on a product page, it reloads the page again. Is there a demo, or an option, where it just gets add to the cart without any reload?
Sorry about that, it forgot to clear the cache on all demos. Could you try a hard reload and see again.
In regards to the “Add to cart” button, indeed that’s default WooCommerce behavior on the product page, but i’m sure i could try to implement something that would support this. For the moment i see there’s a plugin that already does this – https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-ajax-add-to-cart/ .
Thanks for the reply. It’s odd because you an “AJAX ADD TO CART” on the homepage for different products, where it goes directly to the cart, then on product pages you have it reload the page, the default WooCommerce style. Thoughts?
Yes, that’s right. Ajax is used on product listing pages only. In fact this is an option in WooCommerce > Settings > Products and it’s enabled by default. I know, it’s strange they didn’t add this into product pages too.
Hi, The slider css seems wrong. Please check at staging.print24×7.com
Hi Nadir,
Not sure what you mean. Here’s how it looks on my side https://d.pr/v/ohz5IY . I do notice the 2 squares on the bottom left. Unfortunately i don’t know how to fix it in the demo import process because Elementor updated its icon library in v2.6.0 and changed a lot of things.
What i can tell you though, is that you need to edit the page with Elementor, and click on that exact element and it will update itself eg: https://d.pr/v/bq4rAr . Will investigate this more in the future.
If this wasn’t the issue what you were meaning, please let me know.
Thanks!
Marius
Could you give me your email ID? I need to share a screenshot.

when i add rey element it’s always broken but on the editor page it’s working fine
Hey there!
Just checked the site and indeed something’s not ok there. Could you please drop me an email through my profile page’s contact form with the admin credentials (or better, create a temporary account for me) so i can double check as well.
I’m guessing you probably installed a demo 2 times (because items are duplicated in the menu).
I also noticed you are trying to use the cover in a “tab” section. If you’re not actually planning on using the parent section as a tab holder, please disable it eg: https://d.pr/i/K9gWI1 .
Thanks, will wait for your message!
Marius
