Sorry about the delay! It seems like we missed your reply. Theme defaults do not make any changes on the image size. So, it depends on the image and display resolution. However, there is no standard here because of different device/resolutions. We’d recommend using “Cover” option if you’d like to make it full for all screens.

As you mentioned, “Cover” option changes the background size depending on the screen size so it doesn’t leave any blank space. I am afraid it is not possible to make an image to fit every screen without resizing it. However, you can try using “Contain” option if you’d like to avoid the image resizing.

1.
It’s not possible to change the permalinks of new sites. When I change the setting on wp-admin/options-permalink.php to something else than simple, the whole site crashes (HTTP Error 403 Forbidden) Custom links are of course very important – when you think of SEO for example…
2.
The text rotator function has a bug. After a few minutes staying on the website the rotation stops and all words are shown at the same time. You can see a screenshot here (www.saschazemke.de/Screenshot2.jpg) and of course you see the bug live on the page.
3.
I used one of your templates in which a big image is positioned on the right. Unfortunately you can scroll to the right on desktop. This shouldn’t happen and looks like a bug. Ave allows you to import multiple demos and combine pages. You can use Opus 3 as the about page in any demo.
You can also create inner pages (about, portfolio, blog etc.) for the Multi Concept demo. We haven’t added those pages since it is a one page demo but you can easily make it multi-page.

Hi there, since the update to Ave 2.0 some images are compressed upon upload in the media. As soon as they are uploaded, “-scaled.jpg” is appended to the file name. What happened and how can I disable it? Thanks

As soon as you download this theme, a big warning pops up saying this theme isn’t updated to match the most up to date wordpress. Also I had a few issues with certain elements not importing correctly from the demo site, as well as some of the functions not working as they were supposed to making my site unusable. I’ve submitted 2 tickets three days ago, and no one has helped me with the issue, so overall the support is really lacking sadly..

This is hasn’t been resolved. It was only partially resolved where I can see the elements, but you left it in a state where it look unfinished, yet the site was public. In the process of making it so you could see the updates, you deleted multiple pages within my website so I had to basically recreate my entire website, except editing function is very frustrating and doesn’t work properly. I requested my money back.. we’ll see if they get back to me
