When creating a new Group, anytime I choose to create a Forum for it, the Forum by default gets categorized under “Hiking Route” – “Hiking Route” is not a Forum in my site, as I chose to delete that default forum.

You should go to Settings>Forums and choose “No Parent” option for the Primary Forum setting http://prntscr.com/qnyav9 After that all newly created groups won’t be categorized under Hiking Route. Please, note it won’t work for the earlier created groups.

The theme uses standard WordPress search. I think, Youzer plugin, that provides a social networking functionality, does it too.
We as theme developers are not allowed to modify search, otherwise the theme wouldn’t pass Envato review.
You can extend search functionality with help of the additional WordPress and BuddyPress plugins.

Unfortunately, we will not add support of the Dokan multivendor plugin, because Olympus is already overloaded with third-party functionality and it is very hard to support.

Registration is disabled on the demo site to prevent creation of spam accounts. Unfortunately, OTP registration is not available neither in the theme, nor in Youzer.

hello, like one other interested buyer, I also want to get out of Facebook as soon and as fast as possible. So If you don’t mind I have several questions:
1. Does Olympus come with a social login feature where members of Facebook and other social networking sites can login using their accounts at those sites, or will this require buying a plugin?
2. are there any plans to integrate a multi-vendor plugin soon, so that all site members can also market their own items, just like Facebook Marketplace, to enable a real community?
3. Does a purchase of Olympus come with a ready-made Android app to enable site members to use their phones to use the site?
4. Does a purchase of Olympus come with free installation?

First of all I have to note, that the theme itself doesn’t have any specific functionality. It comes bundled with a number of plugins that provide social networking, events and e-commerce functionality.
Social network is ensured by BuddyPress and Youzer plugins.
And here come the answers to your questions:
1. Yes, Youzer provides a social network login option that you can set up inside the Youzer panel.
2. No, we don’t plan to integrate s multi-vendor plugin.
3. No, it doesn’t. As the theme is based on the BuddyPress plugin, it probably can be used within the BuddyPress app.
4. Installation services are not included in the item support. You can easily install it by following the theme documentation. But if you face any difficulties during this process, our team will try to help you.
5. This is a secret for us too. If one wants Facebook, one should stay with Facebook. Or buy a ready script for social networking. Social Network on WordPress is supposed to be used for small communities, that don’t require all the Facebook capabilities. It’s because WordPress CMS is a blogging platform and not a social-network-oriented one.
6. If you want to get an Olympus demo data, the old data will be erased. In such a case, we recommend to make export files of your old data first and then import them over the Olympus theme via the WordPress Export/Import tool.

Does this theme include a multi-vendor feature using something like WC Vendors, Dokan, or Marketplace, so that all site members will have the ability to sell their own products, just like FB Marketplace? Because if only the site admin can sell products, then it’s not really typical of a real community, I think.

It is not a theme related functionality. It can be achieved by the third-party plugins, I think. You can request a trial installation via info@crumina.net and test any multi-vendor plugin on it. So you will know if this theme corresponds your requirements or not.

Yes, it comes with the demo data. It is almost identical to the live demo, but it doesn’t include all the sample members and groups. It has only one admin user and one sample group. All other content is included.

Hi yes I purchased it but I submitted a ticket because I didn’t know when I installed the demo it would erase everything including 16,000 members on my site thank god for backups right LOL!
Can you please tell me how I can make the site function similar to how you have it in the demo, but keep all my data. When I install the theme straight out of the box it’s so much different then the demo you have which I totally expected but I’ve never had a demo site install erase my whole site before.
If you could show me how to install the demo without erasing everything that would be great! I don’t care about the content I just need the site to look and act exactly how you guys have it on the demo. On a side note this Theme is Beautiful I can’t wait to use it on my community. I have purchased 3 themes for this community over the past two years and I’m looking for more of a permanent theme with yours.

As far as we know, users will appear on the Members directory page upon their first authorization on the new website. We don’t know if synchronization is possible. 1. Unfortunately, there are no options to disable groups activity and to make the forum tab open on a first click.
2. I think, the theme will work find with the intranet, however, we have never tested it with such configuration, so we can’t be absolutely sure about it.

Hi, I have a question, my support expires on Sunday and I sent them 2 tickets days ago and my question is whether Saturday and Sunday count them as support days? since you don’t work those days, then support should expire on Tuesday, because Saturday and Sunday are not supportive business days
