If you want to use the social network integration it’s necessary to use BuddyPress plugin because Youzer is the extension of BuddyPress and social network functionality is based on it.

I have some pre-sale questions, I have a plan to build a location-less directory, combine with BuddyPress at the same time to build a closed niche social network with using GeoDirectory plugin (https://wpgeodirectory.com/). Is the theme works well with GeoDirectory plugin ?

Recently we’ve tested this plugin with the Olympus theme and we wouldn’t recommend using it because GeoDirectory is a complex plugin, which requires special stylings.

I’m using BuddyBoss User Blog plugin to allow users to post blogs from frontend, I want there to be a sidebar on every single post page but I cannot figure out where to set this so it’s automatic and users don’t need to have backend access to assign a sidebar to their blog post. Can this be done? It’s really important.

Hi, we are noticing a strange issue that only occurs on a single page, and it does not occur in our previous theme (Aardvark). On the tagboard page https://www.gorgeconnect.com/gorge-tagboard/ the page is scrolling to the bottom automatically once the stunning header scrolls out of the viewport. We thought this might be a plugin issue on the page so we disabled all plugins on the page other than the tagboard and the issue still occurs. We did note that this issue DOES NOT happen on mobile devices & tablets.
Ideas on what we might want to look at?

We noticed that you use an incredibly great amount of additional plugins. Most likely one of them or one of the shortcodes used on that particular page interferes with the sticky header. Please, try to disable all of the third-party plugins, clear cache and check if the issue is resolved. If yes, begin to activate the plugins one by one to find out the right one.

When a member creates a group, is a forum for that group automatically created, or does the author or admin of the group still need to create the forum?

I did not read this in your info, but I will ask just incase I missed something. Questions.
1. Does the events section have reoccurring events, like the 2nd Thursday of each month?
2. Can the events section be monetized by allowing front-end submissions and payments by submitters of an event.
3. And for a different project, can the forum section be used alone, in the beginning, might add the other social parts later, but primarily interested in the forum to start with.

1. and 2. The events feature is ensured by the Events Calendar plugin by ModernTribe. There is a free version of the plugin used in the theme. And it seems it doesn’t provide the requested features. You may want to find more information on the events features on the official website https://theeventscalendar.com/
3. The forum feaure is ensured by the bbPress plugin. You can use only it for the start. The social networking feature is provide by Youzer and BuddyPress plugins. You can keep them inactive and use only forum, if needed.

Quick pre-sales question:
1) It says that Youzer is included, is this the full version of Youzer, or a personalized version for the theme with stripped down features? I’m thinking mostly about the advertising options here.
2) With your woocommerce intergration, did you code for the affiliate link options as well? Is there any affiliate support whatsoever? Current or planned?
3) Anything big on the roadmap? Not asking for massive details, just basic ideas?

1. There comes original and full Youzer, the same as if you would purchase it directly from its author. We haven’t modified or extended its functionality. The only thing we did is overrode some styles to match them the overall theme design. We are also going to add an option that would disable theme stylesheet on the Youzer pages.
2. We haven’t added any affiliate support to the Woocommerce plugin. We have just added styling for the Woocommerce pages. The plugin comes with its original functionality. You can extend it with the corresponding Woocommerce extensions, if needed.
3. The theme is finalized. But we continue to support the existing functionality. The only big feature we plan for future is an Elementor plugin support.

Hello, I purchased the theme, installed the demo and started editing. I have two issues:
1. When I click on Save for any menu which contains the profile links (when I’m logged in as admin), it saves the admin URL, meaning any user will attempt to access /members/admin/ (for example) . This should automatically adjust to the respective username in the URL. How can we insert manually links that do this as otherwise the menu becomes impossible to work with?
2. Somehow while editing the colors, the icons from the sidebar menu got lost and they are not showing. The links are there, but the icons are not. Is there any setting which turns them on/off as I have run through all that I saw but nothing actually works.

1. You should add menu items from the BuddyPress tab in the Appearance>Menus section. Such links will adjust to the respective username https://d.pr/free/i/khvRbX
2. There must be no setting in the theme that would change menu icons color to white. Elementor Please…. Also on the demo it show two navi header I was wondering can we display the Notification to the Main menu instead the top bar? can we control the search bar where to display on the Header Menu, Example: Center, Left, Right or full screen?

All the top header and header elements are static and can’t be re-positioned to other locations. You can only choose to show or hide them.

1. The MyCred feature is nice, do you offer integration with WooCommerce with the bundle (can the users pay with their earned points)?
2. Do you have any limitations on the images/files which can be uploaded (size, dimentions, etc)?
3. Can the admin manage the file types being uploaded (for example, to remove videos and files, leaving only images)?
4. I have not found an option to ‘like’ a profile. Is there such an option? How do you sort the likes shown on the profiles?
5. Any option to add page(s) with specific top users? Gathered most likes/friends?
6. Can we manage the number of points given for specific action?

First of all, I have to point out that all social networking functionality is ensured not by the theme itself, but by the Youzer plugin.
1. The theme provides integration with Woocommerce as well as Youzer does. But there is no feature to pay with points by default. Probably there is an additional Woocommerce plugin for this purpose.
2. Youzer provides such options within the Youzer customize panel.
3. Yes, there is such option in the Youzer customize panel.
4. There is no option in Youzer to like profiles. There is an option to rate profiles and leave reviews on them.
5. No, there is no such option in Youzer.
6. Yes, you can do it within the MyCred plugin settings.

When I navigate to any Group that’s been created, on the right hand side, the default “User” profile is displayed. I deleted the default User, but the profile box still remains in every group (underneath the “Group RSS” module). Is there an easy way to get rid of this module?

All users have their own IDs. You need not only to delete the default user but also change the ID used in this widget under Appearance > Widgets > Yozer – Static Author > Default User ID (https://prnt.sc/qohh7p). User ID can be found by hovering the username in Users > All Users (https://prnt.sc/qohgia). You can delete Youzer – Static Author widget there as well and get rid of this module at all.

Pre-sales question. I have my site built mostly on Elementor. Is there any conflict with continuing to use Elementor for post layouts along with integrating Olympus? And will the editor (rich text/wyswig) still have all the necessary function within buddypress in the forum.

Olympus functionality is based mostly on the third-party plugins, like bbPress, BuddyPress, Youzer etc. The theme doesn’t modify their original functionality, it only adds styling to make them match the overall theme design. The theme itself also uses standard WordPress functions. So, there must be no conflict with Elementor.
But please note that the blocks used on the Olympus home page are not present in the Elementor builder. They were created specially for the WPBakery builder.
