Hi, I real quick pre-sell question? I have never installed a word press theme before and I don’t have any tech experience! Would it be easy for me to install the theme or I will need somebody with more knowledge to help me?

Thanks for writing to us. The theme is not much different from installing any premium theme and is actually quite simple compared to complex themes that require pagebuilders to use. However, basic knowledge of working with themes is still required (we can’t train on basics of WordPress themes but we can link to guides) – just like with any other theme. So if you’re in a hurry or there’s limited timeframe to launch your site, it would be best to use an installation service (offered for $50 by Envato Studio).

Hi! I’m using this theme for a school website. The site consists of 3 parts: kindergarten, elementary and high school, each with another subdomain (3 WP installations), but hosted on the same domain.
Do I need to buy 3 licenses? Thanks in advance!

Hi we face an issue on the theme.. some bug.. u can see something appens when we go to this particular post https://www.womenexclusive.in/five-bollywood-stars-who-are-on-top-of-the-fashion-game-on-2020/ rest all looking fine. - Also the Catagory we have added but on the error page u can see u the catagory but not on the main site. something conflicting for this issue.. kindly share ur email so i can share details

I have some pre-sell questions:
I didn’t see any video posts on the homepage of the demo. Can I link some youtube videos and play directly? If it’s a video post, do I need to upload a featured image or it will pull a thumbnail from youtube.
Is there a one-click demo import? Is the home page built by WP Bakery or Gutenberg?
I supposed I can mix and match the header, footer and change the page layout of the homepage after I picked one demo, right?

The videos in listings are supposed to display the feature image (with a video icon on top) for video post format. On the article/post page, you can embed videos from any source. For automatic thumbnail download, that’s a feature that falls in plugin territory, so you can use a plugin like “Video Thumbnails” – otherwise you can manually set a featured image for each.
Yes, there’s one-click demo import for all demos. Most of our demos are simply done with our WordPress Customizer but the ones on Magazine and Lifestyle demos are created using WPBakery Page Builder.
And yes, you can mix and match on the header, footers and homepage.

My project is an English and Chinese bilingual website. Would this theme be compatible with WPML? Can I also translate header, footer, category?
Do I have to add some Chinese Google font? Can I set the length of Chinese excerpt on list view?
I also need to combine some features and looks of your demo sites, can I do that if I use the Child theme of Magazine and say Fashion?

We haven’t tested that plugin in specific but any well-coded plugin should work. Yes the theme is compatible with WPML but you will have to find fonts that support both Chinese and English.
The features are available in all demos regardless of which you choose so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Sorry we don’t have a video playlist built-in but you can use any plugin you want and if it has a shortcode, it can be used by WPBakery Page builder anywhere. Or a widget if it has to be used in sidebar / footer.

We are trying to speed up my website and the person helping me is having an issue with the theme. This is what he said. Can you help?
The problem seems to be with your theme, even though I disabled lazy loading in your theme its still applying the CSS.
It also seems to be somehow stopping autoptimize from being able to optimize the css/js by combining them.
I would reach out to your theme support to see how to disable lazy loading and then we can go from there.

Thank you for getting back to me. I told that to my website guy and he responded to this. Do you know how to disable it?
We want to disable their performance lazy loading, I’ve already disabled it in the theme settings but its still in the CSS so its causing issues with lazy loading using https://wordpress.org/plugins/rocket-lazy-load/

Generally you can use the CheerUp > Install Plugins link. If it doesn’t exist, it can mean a number of things. Either the required plugins are all already installed, or the current user doesn’t have required permissions (make sure it’s an admin account). If it’s a multi-site install, it will have to be the network admin installing from main network.

It’s none of those things. I’m an admin, and I installed the theme correctly.
Can you just tell me how many plugins came with it? I see 5 of them in the theme files. Are there more than that?

If the problem isn’t related to any of these, then it’s most likely a 3rd party plugin or a mu-plugin that’s conflicting and our tech team can help figure it out (it’s best that we do, to ensure there are no other issues arising from the same conflict). If you wish to manually install these, they’re in cheerup/lib/vendor/plugins folder. Bunyad AMP is optional and so is js_composer (WPBakery Page Builder). Apart from these, some plugins from WP.org repository are also recommended like WP-Retina2x.

im interested in buying this theme, I noticed the default hover over images is a simple fade, is there anything built in to this theme to allow more interaction when hovering over post images such a zoom or a border coming over the image, couldn’t see any examples of this?

By default we only provide the fade effect for the image hover. As for the zoom effect, it can be implemented with a simple custom css that our support team can provide you with.
