Hi,
i looked olympus html and olympus wordpress and i want to buy olympus wp. But in html format has many chat ares but in wp there is not or i cant see.For example in html format;There are chat areas on the right side of the profile page.
On top there are messages notifications requests. so it looks a bit like facebook. but there are no such things in wordpress format, it looks more like a blog. I want to set up a social media site and application, so I want to buy this theme if such things are added to the wordpress.If Olympus – HTML Social Network Toolkit and Olympus – Powerful BuddyPress Theme for Social Networking are the same, problems will disappear for me

Olympus HTML and Olympus WP are different products. Features that you haven’t found in WordPress version were not implemented in it.
As you have correctly noticed, WordPress is a blog CMS, and it doesn’t provide tools to implement all the social networking features. We tried to make Olympus WP resemble its HTML version as much as it was possible. You can add chat to the Olympus WP with hekp of the additional plugin, but it won’t look the same as in the Olympus HTML.

Unfortunately, we can’t help you with setting up a social network on basis of the Olympus HTML. As for other themes you can use an Envato market search by your criteria.

We understand. We got the question from the start. Unfortunately, WordPress doesn’t provide tools to create a theme in the same style as the Olympus HTML. That is why the Olympus WP differs from the Olympus HTML version.

when I post a picture it is shown in full size, so I need to scroll down to see the whole picture. There is the same problem with videos. And when use the full screen mode, the video is adjusting weirdly. Is there a way to change that ?

Theoretically, random order of the blog posts is possible, but we haven’t added it in the theme for better performance of the theme. This is our position of principle. Random order will greatly overload database and caching won’t work on your site. Do you really need this option? If yes, please submit a ticket at our support system and we will provide you with a solution https://support.crumina.net/ But we don’t recommend it and we take off all the responsibility for this customization.
As for showing more related posts, copy the templates/common/related-posts.php file in our child theme and on line 4 set the needed value for $number_posts . For the infinite number set -1 value.

According to the latest information we have, Youzer plugin is not compatible with GamiPress. Anyway, you can try it. Apart from the Gamipress, there is a Gamipress – BuddyPress integration plugin, you can try both of them.

The animated background image on the homepage can be changed via the WP Bakery builder. Simply edit the first row of the page and change the image under the “Background options” tab.

We haven’t provided an infinite load feature in the theme. The blog page works only via the regular pagination or the load more button. As for the third-party plugins, unfortunately, we can’t advise a solution, as we haven’t tested any of that kind.

There is a custom Olympus registration form. It looks like this https://prnt.sc/qa897f The form fields are static, non-editable and there are not many of them.
There is a Youzer native registration page too. The fields are editable within Users>Profile Fields section. So you can remove the excess fields there.

By default users can’t create blog posts. You can extend their permissions with help of the additional plugins. We usually recommend the User Role Editor plugin, but it allows users create blog posts from the backend editor. You may want to try another plugin, that allows it from the frontend. But we haven’t tested any of that kind and can’t recommend any.

Youzer updates come together with the theme updates. Youzer support is not included, as well as Youzer license. So if needed, you can buy Youzer separately. But it is not obligatory. Olympus support does help to navigate through the Youzer existing features. But everything that goes beyond it, is not covered by it.

Hello, love the theme. I would justl ike to ask. Is ti possible to create aditional Group pages? Right now there is one where people can create groups. What I would like to do is create aditional page called “groups 2” where people also can create groups on their own, while group displayed on page :groups 2” would not be shown on page “Groups”. I hope it is clear what I mean. I have tried to simply duplicate page “Groups” but it does not have atributes for users to create groups inside of it 0 it is just as regular post page. Thank you

I have to point out that social networking functionality in the theme is provided by the plugins BuddyPress and Youzer. By default, it is not possible to create two groups pages like you need. Basically, they must be of two different post types. So the second page must be not groups, but something else. But it requires additional coding.

Unfortunately, there is no a simple code to make another post type for you. It is a complex task that needs pretty much coding. Unfortunately, such service is not included in the item support. We won’t be able to take it as a custom project either. Sorry!
As for the second question. We looked through the Youzer documentation, but there is no option to enable post only from friends in the activity page.

Is it possible for users to see users post on their wall.? Because is not working for me

By default, users can see activity stream of other users. They cannot see it if the user profile is set to private. There is also a setting, that allows to adjust which post type to show or hide on the activity stream. It is located in the Youzer Panel>General Settings>Wall Settings> Control Wall Posts Visibility. Please, check it.

Thanks, I made the change as you suggested, saved it, but it’s not showing on the front end of the site on the form. Did I miss a step or a setting?
I actually had to go into the Unyson plugins/unyson/framework/extensions/sign-form/views/form-registration and correct the text there. Either way, the registration dialog now reads with the correct english grammar. Thx.

Suggestion: On mobile device menus, when you touch a menu item with sub-menu items the menu should expand when you touch it anywhere rather than have to touch a specific place to display the sub-items, users find it annoying.

Thank you for the suggestion! However this feature is made extra.
After thousands of sales of our themes and templates, we realized that most people like to set links to parent menu items. And to avoid any limitations we made it possible to open the parent link by clicking the menu label and to open a submenu by click on the triangle icon. This is the best solution for mobile menu so far.
