I just bought the theme and when installing, there is an ‘ajax error’ on the WPBakery plugin installation. How can this be fixed because Im unable to edit the pages.

you can ignore it, it should be active, but WPBakery on activation tries to redirect to it’s own “Welcome page” and doesn’t return the standard “success” so it shows as ajax error, but on the list of plugin it should be active
Is it possible to order the listing by distance from the searched location? What if the user wants to locate the closest locations near his house and order by distance… isn’t it nice?
Of course it is but it’s not that simple and definitely can slow down search results if you have a lots of listing to count distance from, we don’t have function at this moment.

I don’t have a timeline for Elementor, but it won’t be for next update for sure.

I have a few questions, which some are already asked here, but I would like to know your progress on these points:
1. Placing a booking, why does the user first get the order confirmation page and then the possibilty to pay? I would be logic to have the pay process right after filling the info. Is this going to be possible in the future? This seems like an extra step.
2. Will it be possible for guests to make a booking? Now they have to register first.
These extra steps are not making the booking process very customer friendly. I would really like to add a vote for these features.

Listing types are tied to booking form options, that’s their main purpose, so you get different booking option if you choose rental than if you choose event. Modifying that is possible but only via code

There are many files to be updated, most of them in plugins/listeo-core/includes/, you can add new types in class-listeo-core-meta-boxes.php but you’ll probably need to make changes in class-listeo-core-meta-boxes.php and includes/class-listeo-core-bookings-calendar.php and templates/listing-submit-type.php

ad1. Yes and no, you can try to use plugins like WPML etc, and some users do, but it will be a problem for user generated content if you rely on that (so user won’t be able to add listing in more than one language, or leave a review etc)
ad2. FluxStore is mobile app compatible with Listeo, all informations about it you can ask author of that app.

I have been adding this field “max_no_guests” to each rental listing for maximum number of guests, but wanted to add this to every listing and then be able to sort/filter/search by number of guests allowed.

ad1. Registration form customisation would be possible only by customising the code, there’s not backend editor for that form
ad2. We also don’t have option to show list of users who booked (it’s possible to get it from database but we don’t have such element to show them)

Categories can be translated with LocoTranslate, translate the Listeo Core plugin.
What do you mean by “how we can change command names, i.e. LISTEO_get_listings”?
i.e. change LISTEO_get_listings to OURAPPNAME_get_listings
and we need to change Category name not only in the theme, but also in the generated URLs
category slugs are translatable in LocoTranslate. If you want to rename names of functions you’d have to replace those in source files. Best way would be to open whole Listeo and Listeo Core in some text editor like Sublime Text and just do “find and replace” on all files
