As for your question. Adobe supports conversion from PSD to XD. We made all the screens separately first in PSD and then placed them in XD one by one in 1 main XD file and then adjusted where the errors were in each screen. Though Adobe supports a lot of features when converting from PSD to XD, one thing we noticed that vectors were not supported when placing PSD to XD, they were converted into images so a workaround was to make shapes in PSD first then place in XD, as XD supports shapes conversion from PSD.

As for XD to PSD, Adobe doesn’t support that yet but a quick google search will show you a way to do this in third party softwares but don’t think they are as great as Adobe’s own support does between the softwares for example when converting from PSD to XD. Be sure to read what actually does get converted when using a third party software.
