It’s very unfortunate to hear that you are not satisfied with the theme. Have you tried looking for help and advice on our Support Forum? If not, please do so.

Important thing to mention is that overall speed of a site comes not just from the theme, obviously. Other factors, like server performance, other 3rd-party plugins, resource and image optimization, cache configuration etc. play major role in that. So please consider reviewing other aspects as well.

As for the refund – please follow the general rules and procedures that you can find in Envato Help Center.

Is your theme suitable for a store based on woocommerce with 300 products? So that you can create separate categories, tags, and so on

I guess this questions should sound like “Is WooCommerce suitable for a store with 300 products”. What the theme does is it styles WooCommerce elements in a way that they look in line with the general design, and adds some few more features and styling elements, which you can see in demo preview. The rest is handled by WooCommerce.

Scape is fully compatible with WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer).

As for the WooCommerce plugin that you are referring to – unfortunately, we cannot guarantee full compatibility with the theme. Most probably it should work fine (although we didn’t test this particular plugin), but in terms of design you will probably need to style it yourself if you want to match the general theme style.

Related to above, can I use works section as creating events? Can I edit those pages with page builder? The events will be webinars and will have a few information and speakers and sponsor logos.

Sorry, one more question. Can I show/hide elements based on the breakpoints from the header? For example, I might want to show the top bor on mobile devices with only one element. Is this possible?

Please note that the speed and response on mobile depends on various factors, including your connection speed, device performance, device and browser settings among all.

Scape doesn’t include an event planner functionality, but that doesn’t mean you cannot add it yourself using a 3rd-party plugin or your own custom solution. As for whether it is necessary – it all depends on what your requirements are. I suggest you study the theme demo and documentation to better understand Scape’s possibilities.

All the shortcodes you see in the demo preview can be mixed and uses in any combinations on any pages.

Works (or portfolio) post type which is built in Scape theoretically can be used for events. But please check the demo to better understand if it has the feature that you need your events to have. After all, works/portfolios are primarily designed to demonstrate some kind of media, e.g. images/video/audio. Portfolio item pages can use one of the predefined layouts, or have a fully custom content as regular pages.

Elements cannot be shown/hidden in the header out of the box. You can however easily add custom CSS code to hide them based on the screen size. Top bar is not available in the mobile header, unfortunately.

The social buttons block in the header has a fixed collection of social networks. If you name which ones you need to be there, I can say if they are in the list.

However, you could basically add any icons there with the following workaround. You can add a content block with any icons (with links) to your header, and if you need the icons which are not in Scape’s library, you can add them via a custom icon font.

Yes, only those will be displayed for which you have entered a URL.

No, it’s not like you can use images anywhere an icon can be inserted into a shortcode, unfortunately. However, you can add your own custom made icon fonts, and use these icons in these elements.

Wow, that is the only thing keeping me from buying this amazing theme..

All I wanted to do is use bitmap icons instead of font icons as I have a huge library that I have purchased, created and collected throughout the years, and i’m sure others do to. Do you know if there is a way to convert bitmap images to font icons?

I’m not sure if it’s what you need or if they work correctly, but there are plenty of online bitmap->SVG converters out there which you can try. However, I have no experience with them, so I guess you need to figure out yourself

After you have them in SVG, use IcoMoon to make an icon font out of them and follow instructions in theme documentation on how to create and add a custom icon font to Scape.

Scape is fully translation and multilanguage ready, so the basic translations will work with any plugin. However, certain parts like Scape’s unique language switcher or some dynamic content from Theme Options are only configured to be translated with WPML.
