and so I can use “tour custom post types” as destinations and not as tours

1. Tours and destinations are both custom post types, however, the difference is that tour can have a category, review, attribute and can be booked, while destination only showcases certain landscape. Also, it’s important to note that you can insert a tour list inside destination item, because destination post type accepts WPBakery editor, so you can set a category for your tours, let’s say “Australia” and under destination item list all tours from category “Australia”. This is how tour list looks like – https://getaway.select-themes.com/tour-list-carousel/ The tour search is filtering only tours and not destinations.
2. As for the booking system, you could disable PayPal and email your customers to collect payment in a different way. You can also completely disable the booking form and add some custom content on the single tour sidebar area.

At this point my questions are: 1.What happens if I deactivate the booking system? 2. What consequences are there for custom post types of tours? 3. Price, duration of the tour will disappear? Can I turn off these items? 4. I will have to use the style sheets to make them disappear (display: none)?
I simply have to create a tour guide, without a booking system. So the structure of the theme interests me a lot, but I am also interested that there are no tour operator services.
So I would like to know if it is sufficient to turn off the reservation system to be able to use tour custom post types for other purposes.

5. Can I turn off tour search form?
Hi there,
1. The tours will display, if you do not fill in the price and info for the tours then the booking feature will not be present.
2. You can either choose to have the booking or arrange it at a different way if you wish. No consequenses, just a matter if you wish to have the booking or not.
3.& 4. If you wish to have the price you can enter those information and simply remove the booking with custom CSS. Or if you do wish you can leave them empty.
5. You can for sure remove it.

Thank you for taking interest in our theme 
We implemented PayPal only as a payment method in Getaway theme for tour items https://prnt.sc/rdrn2o. This means that the users can pay directly for booking a tour with PayPal.
You can disable the PayPal option, and in that case you can contact the customer directly.
Note that this theme also has shop module, which is handled by WooCommerce plugin, but please understand that the product items (shop) and tour items are not a part of the same module.

Hi, i am currently using the parent theme, it’s not showing that i need to upgrade. My issue is the select twitter plugin is not working, I have already edited a lot of pages, i was wondering if I would lose my edits if i were to switch from parent theme to child theme. I had that issue before on a site where plugins weren’t working but after i switch from child to parent the issue was gone, but i had not yet edited the site at all so it was not a problem. Thanks

That’s why it is advised to use the child theme and make all the modifications in it. So when you update your parent theme, the changes made in the child theme will stay the same.

Unfortunately there’s nothing in my envato, i did check in themeforest for the latest version but it’s not there either. The instagram is probably not working due to my old version. I already paid for this theme, so if you could please give me a zip copy of the latest version i’d appreciate it. Other themes’ updates are automatically in wordpress dashboard but yours isn’t.

This is strange, you should log into your ThemeForest account and navigate to your Downloads page. Find our theme and click on the Download button next to it. Choose the Installable WordPress file only https://prnt.sc/rdrdbx. The name of the folder is same (getaway), but you will download the latest version from there.
After that you should follow the instructions from the article on how to update theme and plugins:https://helpcenter.qodeinteractive.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002326058-How-To-Update-A-WordPress-Theme-And-Plugins

It may be possible but we can not guaranty that it would be the same as our Tours as it is our Custom Post Type and your CSV file should be really good formatted for this purpose.

Hello, we bought your theme, and we use it without paypal.
1) Is there a way to manage past tours? So that they can no longer be booked.
2) our trips have only one date and time of departure. So we would like that in the tour booking form the date field (mm-dd-yy) is pre-filled with the only available date.
