Thanks a lot. By the way you mentioned in previous comments that Elementor PRO doesn’t work with this theme. Did that change? I’m planning to add galleries to Portfolio pages or can I add them in a different way than Elementor PRO?

The theme works fine with Elementor Pro in general. But it has some limitations due to AJAX and Smooth Scrolling (both can be turned off btw).

Galleries (and other exclusive Elementor Pro widgets) should work fine.

You can also explore custom Elementor widgets provided by the theme if they fit your needs. For example all the galleries in the demo are built upon Masonry Gallery widget.

1. The transitions should fully work across all the devices. The images should load on mobiles as well. I’ve checked the theme demo from iPhone SE screenshot All the images are there and transitions work as they should. Sometimes Envato Market frame may cause the issues like that. 3. The thing is sometimes the portfolio items header layout may have a lot of text content and/or long headings. Making these fullheight sections to respect the mobile bar height may cause the content to overlap the scroll down button. This is especially relevant to old small mobile screens (e.g. iPhone SE 320×568). You’ll be able to re-position the scroll down button using CSS as you need, but this won’t be changed in the theme core style.

2: When going through the portfolio I would like to know, if a background images can be integrated in the footer section behind the title for the next or previous project – similar to your RUBENZ theme.
4: By the way, is there a possibility to have such a “scroll-down-animation” for the RUBENZ theme?

2,4,5 – those themes are “themes” and not plugins. There is no simple way to transfer their layouts and/or functions between each other. Unfortunately, there are no plans to replicate other products functionalities and layouts in Cassio.

6: Would your CASSIO theme work with these plugins:
A: tidio (live chat plugin)
B: calendly (booking tool)
C: WP Cost Estimation Form Builder

Aside from the plugins which come as pre-packaged Cassio is tested and compatible only with the plugins listed in theme documentation on this page. Unfortunately the compatibility with the plugins you’ve mentioned is not guaranteed.

I also want to inform you, that all the themes driven by AJAX (products of mine of any other author) are fairly limited in terms of expandability. While the theme provides a simple API for a user to extend AJAX compatibility with 3rd-party plugins, sometimes it’s not possible technically to handle a plugin you want to use with the theme. However, AJAX transitions may be turned off from the theme options.

1. Parallax effect on the sections (it’s also called “Motion Effects”) is an exclusive Elementor Pro function. Cassio and all the themes on TF are not allowed to bundle Pro version of Elementor.
2. Parallax effect for the single images and galleries which are shown in the demo are custom Elementor widgets provided by the theme. Technically they are not sections so it’s not possible to put the content over that images.
3. The portfolio footer navigation is a special theme part to be customized by editing PHP template file. It can’t be easily changed/fine tuned from a page builder or admin panel.

1. There are no plans for these integrations.
2. There is always a chance that a plugin will work with AJAX out of the box.
3. Sometimes it’s possible to easliy add AJAX compatibility if you know the plugin JavaScript init function. You can get more information on how can some plugin handle AJAX themes (and if it’s actually possible) from the plugin author.
4. Sometimes it’s not possible at all due to the specific plugin frontend. It’s always best to ask the plugin author about compatibility with AJAX themes.

Those animations depend on the sliding direction and the content alignment. The fullscreen sliders you see in the demo – all are based on a single Elementor widget but with different settings. You’ll have the options to change layout/slider direction/content alignment. However you can’t force horizontal headings animation set to a vertical slider. These animations are set automatically depending on how you’ve configured a slider layout.

Yes. Dual logo versions (different for dark/light headers) are supported as well.

2. Can the logo be centered in the header?

No. The theme has the only header layout with the left aligned logo.

3. Can I select other effects when switching main images?

Yes. The fullscreen sliders with WebGL effects support different transitions textures – you can explore some of them in the theme demo. Also there is ability to upload a custom transition texture.

one more question. can the preloader be replaced with a logo?

Yes, you can put a site logo to the preloader or upload a custom image from WordPress media library. The image will replace the loading counter. Here is a screenshot of the available options

Hello! Try to enqueue the styles of the child theme lately. In cassio-child/functions.php find this line:

add_action(  'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'cassio_child_enqueue_styles' );

...and add 99 priority as 3rd argument like this:

add_action(  'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'cassio_child_enqueue_styles', 99 );

This will re-order the child theme CSS files to be enqueued after the parent theme CSS so the rules specificity should be increased as well.

Hello! No, that’s not supported. The similar functionality is implemented in “Video Lightbox” widget on this page But the video lightbox can’t be triggered from the portfolio slider somehow since the images links are intended to open portfolio pages.

Hello again! It seems that the error happens in the upcoming Elementor 2.9.0. I’ve just released an update with Cassio theme 1.6.0 and Cassio Core 1.2.3 which ensures compatibility with the latest Elementor version. The error should be gone after the update as well.
