1. Thankyou for the quick response. I tried updating the theme via envato plugin but it fails - “Update Failed: The theme is at the latest version” But it is showing an update in the envato market plugin.

2. I need to bring http://aanchalsharma.com/ load time under 2 secs. Its hosted on godaddy servers using cloudflare ssl. Please share your costing and mode of payment.

3. On Mobile, the blog image size appears more like square and its blurry (since the original size of image is 880X400)

Yes, after multiple tries finally the theme is updated. However there should be an indication of the version number so that we can be sure that the theme is updated and version number is incremented – domainname.com/wp-admin/themes.php?theme=writing-child

1- This issue was related probably to the plugin, However I’m glad it got fixed You can get the theme’s version from (Appearance > Themes > click Writing theme and it will open a popup includes info on the theme, the version number will be right under the theme’s name)

I applied the fix that you provide for fonts issue and its done now. Thanks, 1. Any update over blurry image for listing? 2. For print option in post share buttons, header section is misaligned from page2. Top right section of social media icons overlap with the text. Please check with this one too.

3. Top menu search option does not appear nicely on mobile phones. Please check with this too.

For the 404 page, you can remove the 404 widgets by going to (Appearance > Widgets) and remove widgets from 404 page sidebar area

ok, thanks for the 404 fixes – Final list of pending issues – 1. Admin reply displays as new comment instead of reply 2. Facebook share opens browser window instead of installed facebook app on mobile 3. Images appear blurry for listing page (since upload image size is 800X400 around). The logo in top bar has a fixed height so that it would be appropriate with the top bar itself; If you insert the logo in header area you can adjust width and height easily

However, you can try this css code (which I don’t recommend as the top bar won’t be nice if its height changed):

I have investigated the website and found that the cache plugins (LiteSpeed Cache and Autoptimize) were caching admin view which caused conflicts, I have disabled caching for admin now. Please check and let me know the feedback!

Sorry for the delay, we were on a short vacation and we are back now! 1- These are scripts included for Facebook embeds and Facebook page widget, Most themes include them by default and we have option to dsiable them in case of not using Facebook.

2- the screenshot isn’t available, but we will include option to disable schema at the next theme update, please stay tuned

3- Thank you for reporting, we have already made these steps, please send us the report including the names of fonts that have this issue so that we can fix them

Actually, the Article schema I was seeing was from Yoast plugin. It seems that the Writing theme does not activate the Article schema if it detects another Article schema enabled? Can you confirm?

In regards to the fonts issue in GPI, please see this screenshot:

It actually says that they can save 0ms, but any idea of why is GPI listing the fonts as having issues? The font is Open Sans in different styles.

I updated the theme but there are some issues that still persist:

I have Classic Editor and TinyMCE Advanced to enhance the classic editor. Can you confirm whether there is a compatibility issue with those plugins OR this is something else?

2. When testing a post page with Google PageSpeed Insights, there are many unused JavaScript files, as seen in this screenshot:

Can you let me know what is the purpose of those scripts and which one can be disabled safely if not in use?

5. I don’t see the Article schema installed. However, I have Yoast which already has this schema. Can you confirm if the theme’s schema auto disables if it detects another Article schema installed? Or this is a separate issue?
