I have a question. How can I manage the categories of the first 4 pictures (top 4 pictures on the main page)? Other pictures got their categories in black background. But first 4 pictures do not have it. On the template there were those categories on the first 4 pictures.

Hey, this theme is awesome and I intend to buy it. Quick pre-sales question:
Are the post meta features fully customizable?For instance, in the demo I see that view count, read time, and comment count appear at the top as standard. Can I fully customize which (if any) of those appear?
Also I see published on and updated on in the left hand side. Can I show just one of these and even change the date/time format i.e. remove the time and the +00:00. This is great for news and topical sites but not ideal for a more evergreen content type site.

Yes, the post meta is customizable, you may toggle all post meta on/off.
You may hide all dates (or just one) and use the default WordPress date format too, please refer to this screenshot for details.

Is there any way to dictate where the post meta goes? On mobile I see for instance that the author, time get pushed below content and up top is views/comments/shares/read time. Many sites in YMYL spaces are keen to emphasize authorship, and for me that necessitates having the author byline—By Joanna Wellick up at the top just beneath the title.
Also, how flexible is the ads insertion ability? I love this theme but I’m a little concerned about the lack of customization options for the homepage. This got me thinking that I could use something like this: https://spotlightthe.me/spotlight/?ads=before-content
However, the ‘ad before content’ would be repurposed into an image overlaid with text briefly describing our organization and what we do.
The text would have to be ‘real’ though, like readable by search engines and not just part of the image. Also, we wouldn’t want the image to link anywhere.

There’s currently no way to specify where the post meta goes, however you may toggle all post meta on/off.
You may place any content in the “Additional Content” fields, for example, shortcodes, ad codes, HTML code, etc.

Really like the clean design of this theme, however, there are times where I need the post to be full-width (100% with no sidebars etc).
With Elementor, I can set the full-width, no problem, however, the sidebars and meta column remain, overlapping the content.
I have tried “removing” it with CSS, but just seem to not be able succeed every time.

We haven’t checked those plugins, but I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t work. Spotlight is coded according to the WordPress Coding Standards and is compatible with all plugins (if they’re coded well too).

Very cool theme, but it’s hard to add custom post types meta. CPT showing only post title and featured image, any other data like author or date somewhere in csco functions like csco_get_post_meta.

I’m not sure what you mean by “card card and list layouts with border”. Anyways, category pages are created automatically by WordPress, and there’s no easy way to modify them.
