for security reasons my hoster does NOT even supply php 7.x anymore (end-of-life of php 7 was in 2022). neither will others in the VERY NEAR future!

didnt say anything else: your theme is technically outdated. therefore is a big security risk. so no hoster will allow me to use it on their servers anymore.

With theme we’ve used dummy images to look it perfect, About additional-image you can able to set multiple images like the same products with different angle looks.
With opencart you just have to add multiple-images from admin, it auto consider 1st image as cover-image and others as additional-images.
So on the homepage or on other pages, there is always displaying 1st image.
