Hi! 1) Yes 2) Yes, you can import the Spreaker podcasts using PowerPress plugin and play the episodes from the theme’s player 3) We don’t add any ads functionality because there are tons of plugins and platforms, you are free to do that but is not something the theme helps you with, nor the support. Please notice that WPcast uses ajax (as any other website or theme with a non-stop music player) so you cannot use AdSense (is contrary to the TOS) but you can use any other affiliation program like amazon or similar 4) The donations can be done using the GIVE plugin. With Give you can make different donation forms. I think you can do easily what you want. For a complete answer you should check the Give donation plugin page

Please ntoe that some plugins can have some translation files as well, same procedure but it needs the name of the translation to contain the name of the plugin folder (as explained in the manual).

You don’t need tot ranslate every string, only the ones you want to change.

This did NOT work. You’ve suggested to: Select and Open the pot file from the languages folder. Language folder? There is NO Language folder at: wp-content/themes/wpcast There is mention of Language folder in the theme archive editing, but no folder. In the theme package, zip files, there is no language folder to open on POEDIT. I tried plugins like Weplot but it cost a ridiculous amount of money for something you include. Please help. Thank you

I took a video where you can see I download the product, unzip it and the language folder is inside.

The languages translation file is a basic requirement for a theme to be on Themeforest.

You do NOT need to spend a single cent to translate the theme, just need to spend 5 minutes to read the manual and, if still you don’t understand the Poedit translation functionality, check on the official Wordpress documentation.

This is basic WordPress stuff sir, I’m glad to guide you but please follow the steps and look carefully into your folders.

Also, you need the folder of the theme in your local computer to do this.

This is all explained in the documentation too.

Hello! 1) Spotify is a company not a server Podcasts can anyway be stored in your own server or also imported and played from external podcasting services as Blubrry and similar. You can’t play podcasts from Spotify in a custom player, they block this possibility with every possible technical tool, because they are not a hosting company and they make money only when you play from their app and site. Same for Soundcloud, Mixcloud and Youtube, they are all NOT podcasting platforms.

You can create new authors and they can easily create their own podcasts.

you can also use the free PowerPress plugin to automatically import every podcast from a specific source /you only need the RSS feed of the podcast to import).

3) WooCommerce: there is no integration, after checking about 500 of the most famous podcasts of the world there were only about 10 selling stuff, and they were not doing it on their own site, so this integration appeared to be pretty aleatory.

the sponsors block is a gallery, not a custom plugin. The non-stop music player requires an ajax functionality. Your ads integration needs to work fine with an ajax-loading website or you won’t be able to put ads on any site with similar features.

Just found a couple for you, can’t say they are the best results but I just found these first results on google. I’ve seen many very unique and spectacular ones, but actually we don’t store these information so I just did a quick search.

It means that those plugins are not compatible with ajax page loading sir. Is not a problem of the Ajax page loading itself, is a matter of specific compatibility. The plugin Contact Form 7 instead, works fine.

Hello! 1) About multiple authors: I understand the requirement but, for as many podcasting websites we have seen (literally hundreds, for sure more than 1.5 thousand) the ones with co hosted episodes have a link to the other hosts with the names, and is manually added. WordPress structure has a 1 – 1 link between content and author, it cannot be 1 content 3 authors or similar. So, this is not technically the right approach.

Instead, you can manually quote the authors and link them in the post content.

The theme also provides Page Builder shortcodes to display a nice author card, large or small.

2) Skip: this was already a feature planned to be added, which has been actually frozen. I admit I like it myself so will discuss it with my colleagues in the next meeting.

Actually, you are mistaken. It is a theme conflict. The parameters set in your theme are incorrect. I had to go and remove them and just add a generic MailChimp form. I will write to the developers to notify of this flaw and see if they can correct it – since what is there is not so pretty now.

Ehm…. our theme doesn’t have parameters, it just adds CSS to the form. Actually, if you imported the demo, you can actually have settings that are not correct for your specific email list, but these are dynamic things that are part of the demo and shouldn’t be changed in the source code.

If there is something I’m missing here, please let me know. What I know for sure is that them theme only styles the widget and doesn’t do anything else with the Mailchimp form.

Hello! This theme can import any podcast RSS feed which have a regular feed, using the free plugin PowerPress.

Our documentation covers the plugin setup and compatibility settings for the theme.

I never heard of transistor but from their website it looks like any other regular podcasting platform (as anchor.fm, blubrry and others) so I’d say it has no problems.
