You made a comment saying “I found out why 502 error might occur. In 20 minutes, I will reply by email.” @pimpi.. Have you found out the solution because sometime i get this 502 error as well which is not suppose to be.
Also when is it possible to have the update with those items we discuss.

Hi RealProgrammer. What I found is not what I thought. It was not a bug and did not cause the error 502. The error 502 Bad gateway was brought by Cloud server. Cloud server could not handle the login/logout process fully. I am still trying to solve it.

I made some changes to the login function. Now it logouts, no more error 502 on Cloud hosting. The update will be available very soon.
Mine was not about the login and logout. The error 502 can just pop at anytime and after some secs if i refresh it will go but that doesn’t mean in the next 10 or 20 mins it wont come back. But with the solution you have now lets see if it works for the error. Good job

I don’t know if it will be easier for you to achieve but im thinking once user upload their photo it should have a stamp like the website name or logo stamp so anyone wont just go online and start saving someone’s photo for something else
even if its saved it will have the website logo on it
Can that function be added in the update you are about to upload and please lets know the new features added to the update

Hi RealProgrammer. This function already exists. You mean “Watermark”.
1) Just upload your stamp (usually in png format) here: WordPress -> Media -> Add New.
2) After the image uploaded, find its ID number.
3) Then go and enter this ID here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Images -> Watermark image. Remember to enable the field above “Enable Watermark”. That’s it. Thank you

Could you deactivate the DateBok theme and plugin? After that, try to login and logout. If your server uses ngnix, then please, check htaccess file, what records it has. This error can happen at least because of:
1) Cloud hosting itself could not process the request. The firewall might have restricted request to the wp-login.php. Some servers interfere with WordPress.
2) htaccess has wrong records.
3) bad code in the theme.
Here is what you can do. Open the file wp-config.php in the root folder on your hosting. Add the following lines before the sentence /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */:
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true );
Now open your website in browser, and try to logged out again. if the error 502 appeared in your browser, then go open this file, copy all records inside and send me please.

i got noticed that a member selected slovenia but it wont save it to their profile, when i run country installer it fails by a numerous countries
Countries Installer must not affect the profile country. If profile is not active (publish) yet, then his country will not change. Please, check profiles again. and let me know. Thank you.
hello, profile is active and cannot be changed into a country which cannot be choosen when u want to register, i checked few countries and netherlands and poland and Slovenia does not register, maybe some other countries to but cannot check them all atm. any idea what causes this problem ?
Perhaps, changes cannot saved in the database. If profile is active then there must not be any restriction to change country. Could you recount profiles in countries? This is not a solution, just to see if it can help. Go here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Countries Installer -> click the button Recount.
Just for information, shared hosting servers allow only 75 000 queries per 1 hour to database. After this period, the database does not save any changes.

I could suggest to use some page builder for the front page only. In this case, you could use any content, shortcodes, everywhere.

Yes. Page builder can display top featured and normal profiles on the front page.
Now, no way to put shortcode in the front page. But you can paste shortcode manually in the file. Later, I will tell you which file used by the front page.

when i send a test email in wordpress that works, but i tried activating new member (myself) as test but there comes no activation link in the email, even not after resend activation link what am i missing here ?

Good day, John. Yes, no activation link goes to users email. Because you admin activated/published a new member profile. Also, you did not enable the option here: WordPress -> DateBook -> dashboard -> Profile tab -> Users must verify their email after registration. That’s why no activation required from user.

Live chat exists. Direct messages exist too – when a user writes a message to some profile and this message goes directly to user’s email, and not save in database. In the future, the whole chat/message system will be improved.
ok, so i can’t get to the file manager because i am using google cloud wordpress version. so i changed it in the original file and for some reason it messed up and won’t install now.
Profile will be permanently deleted after 90 days.
But I need to change will be permanently deleted after 3 days.
How I can do?

Yes, it happens due to cache. WordPress does not detect changes in CSS files and does not want to update them. But right now I found a solution for it on my side. In the next update, it will be fixed.
