Hello Pagick, I have bought your theme and until now I have only problems… Even if I wanted to restore only specific Settings to default all theme settings have restored to default. Also, I do not get the menu working, now on the front page, I don’t get anymore search to be shown… Regards, Igor

The most reason why it cannot be saved is that the chat has Emoji symbols but your database cannot save them because your MySQL database is not UTF-8. As a temporary solution you can remove all emojis here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Design and Style -> Chat tab -> Emoji icons. After that, the settings will work properly.

No. DateBook does not use BuddyPress and it was not tested with the theme. But we can make changes or add new features that you need, if you would like.
Dear Pagick, In my country Peru is incomplete the cities is there any way to add manually? Or you could add another more complete list, some of my users also complain that they cannot find their city in Mexico and Argentina
Hi ewinfranc1. Yes, you can add cities manually here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Countries and Cities -> click on a button on top “Add Region or City”.
Fill in all fields: a) Title (city name) in English, Spanish, so on, b) select Country or Region (Peru and some region), c) select city in this field “Is it Region or City?”, d) Enable.
Actually, very small cities are not included in the list of countries. For example: city with 2 000 people is not included. But city with more than 12 000 people was included.

Yes of course. But the search form will be added as a popup window. Because there is no place for the search form. I can place the button “Search”. After clicking on it, a popup window with the search form will open.

3- The Profile Form is accepting to delete custom fields but don’t let me add or drop any custom fields. There’s no problem on the database because it is accepting to save changes. How to fix it?

The “Available fields Panel” is working properly, by the way. The Profile Form is working good right now.
The Flags look great on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge but got some issue on Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer also.

You mean shortcode on the front page? The DateBook front page is hardcoded.
If you want use shortcodes you can use some page builder. Now you use the DateBook homepage. I could recommend to use some page builder. In this case, shortcodes must work.
Right now we are thinking on this issue how to make it comfortable and universal.
IP location by default and more stable for your theme, what is it ?, since I just moved that and stopped showing the shortocodes
IP location detects a real IP address of registered users and displays a real country. This function uses third party online services. For example: user registered as Australia but his profiles shows Germany.
You can see how it works:
Enable IP location here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> IP Location -> Enable detection of user location by IP. Select “Location provider” -> IPLocate (or others). Now go to frontend of profile, expand the Administration Dashboard, see “Location details”.
Estimated where I verify the identity of the users who send me their verification
1) Administrator should go to the frontend of profile,
2) then go here to check the uploaded verification image: https://yourwebsite/mypage/verification/.
3) After this, admin should go to the frontend of profile and in the administration dashboard, he can set the profile as Verified.
Hi Pagick, when a user edits his profile and forgets an obligatory field (e.g. languages spoken), then the profile won’t be updated and all fields will be reset. The user has to fill out all fields again. Can you please fix that in 4.4.2 ?

But when my friend tried to apply the coupon, there is error and the order stayed at the the “waiting for payment” status. How can I set the coupon so that some of my friends can buy the plan totally free of charge while the others still need to pay for it?

Hi crazygamble. DateBook does not interfere the WooCommerce payment process. DateBook only detects if payment was made and runs its subscription functions.

Hi Pagick, have checked Datebooks-dashboard-profile . Members are not receiving email notification when profile is approved or approved after profile has been edited. Members are not coming back to the site because of this missing notification . Can you please have it fixed ?
Hi dragonhunt. I checked. Email notification works. The mail function does not work on your server. Please, install the WP mail SMTP plugin. It usually helps.
Hi Pagick, all other email notifications are working including when subscription is expired or about to expire. When the profile is approved, there is no notification being sent to member

Dear Pagick, there is one annoying thing which could be improved: when users fill in the profile, and if they forgot to fill in the REQUIRED field, the page will populate and all the already-filled-in data in other fields will be lost, and they need to start to fill out the form from all over again, even they have written down thousands of words in the self-introduction field. Which is really annoying and many potential customers just quitted filling out the form again and stopped here.

I changed the name to nickname ( pseudo in french ) in the language file but I also see nickname in the name field of the contact form. The name terms create confusion. It is possible to find a solution to display nickname ( pseudo in french ) instead of name in the registration form and keep name in the name field of the contact form ( It’s not urgent ) Thanks
