it seems like your Theme does not work anymore with a newer version of WordPress (5.6.2). In the Portfolio we are getting an error with jQuery and the media-upload.js and are therefore unable to work with pictures. We have the most recend version of your theme

The Portfolio module and special headings are not translated. This is what WPML support found. Can you make these 2 components compatible with WPML?

And WP Bakery now classifies every block as a text block.. For some reason it injected [vc_column_text] in every element so every element is now wrapped in text block code , so the backend editor & front end editor doesn’t work anymore.. For example; a ” icon box” now became a ” text block” , so the WP bakery editor now recognizes it as a text block and not as an icon box, if our client wants to make changes he does not understand anything anymore. We must manually remove all [vc_column_text] codes from all elements it magically got edited to, before the editor to work normally again. And the progress bars no longer work on the front end, but if you open the front end editor they will work again, very weird

Some functions dont work anymore, such as select background image for titlebar. When click the ” select image” button it just scrolls up the page to the content field. The Jquery helper plugin doesnt solve this. Any tips to fix this or bypass?
A small heads-up; We founds a temporary workaround: when we duplicate an older page (made with previous version of this theme) then we can edit that page and everything works fine with selecting/uploading background image for the title bar.
What happens with the current version is this: when create a new page, the button for uploading image for title bar background has a wrong request/url. For some reason that button has now the ” edit page” url (” https://ourdomain.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1427&action=edit#" in stead of ” https://ourdomain.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?post_id=1427&type=image&TB_iframe=1" ).
So when you try to select an background image for the title bar, the page just reloads as it asumes you want to edit the page.

Unfortunately there is no option to add images and icons in the top header. However you can add Custom Text, Menu, Social icons, Search etc., Below image shows what are the things you can add in the top header. You can drag and drop the element from Disabled to Right or Left and then goto Top Header to add Custom Text, Social Icons etc…,
How do I activate WPBakery and Slider Revolution?

Thank you for purchasing our theme. You can activate/enable the plugins normally but if your asking about licence key activation then you can’t. You can use the premium plugins ( WP Bakery formally Visual Composer, Slider Revolution ) that comes with the theme for free but you can’t add licence. You can ignore licence key and automatic update notification for those premium plugins. We will include latest version of all of those premium plugin up to date.

Hi, Did you tested custom vc_elements with the newest version?
I updated wordpress to 5.2.2, also all plugins to their newest version for a client. Reinserted a few icons, minor tweaks for a different navigation layout and custom vc-elements. But all custom vc-elements disappeared. They won’t show up inside the “add element” menu. .
This was the solution from the WPBakery support: “Please make sure that the init of custom elements is using a priority of 12 or more.” Works now, although older blocks are recognized as text blocks, new ones are recognized correctly as custom blocks. Will check that too.
