I have used wordpress for ages for social sites and I’m looking to switch to a different format, and this looks great! I’m just wondering how I’d go about setting this up (I’m quite good with HTML, CSS & JS but I’ve never really worked with interactive templates before).
Mostly I’ve deployed sites on github pages (I’m assuming that won’t work because gh-pages doesn’t work with things like login and dynamic tools like creating posts). Most of the things on the demo (while they look amazing) aren’t functional, and while I’d love to purchase this theme I don’t want to right now since I don’t have any idea how I’ll set it up. Ideally I’d like to use a custom login tool (like logging in with github) as it saves my users from having to create another account.

Hi Liam, This will just give front end. To create dynamic site you need some Backend/API to work with.
How would I go about doing this?
you need help of backend developers to do it. Based on you project goals they will have to decide how best they can use the theme elements and pages.
