Hi there, There is a bug in the Ristorante theme. I have been using it since 2016. Yet, having trouble with the order of the gallery function in the Ristorante theme. All files are numbered with 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 08, 09 and uploaded in the order wanted. Yet it sill does not show up as should. What to do? Regards, jnl bri

I am having an issue with a deprecated logic when upgrading to PHP 8. The error message I am getting is:
“Fatal error: Unparenthesized `a ? b : c ? d : e` is not supported. Use either `(a ? b : c) ? d : e` or `a ? b : (c ? d : e)` in /web/htdocs/staging.baratello.it/home/wp-content/themes/ristorante/framework/helpers/helper.system.php on line 489”
This error is caused by the fact that PHP 8 no longer supports unparenthesized ternary operators. But I don’t want to mess with the parent theme. I have also tried updating the theme to version 1.2.4, but this has not resolved the issue.
Are you planning to support php 8?

We always have the animated detail border around a title. Now it is still on our pages, but it’s not showing. In the code we are apparently missing the section’s class “inview”
For the text-box we do have layout centered, and animated detail on in the column.

Hello, I’ve a problem with your builder, After the update when I try to add a content to a page and hit the update button my new content disappear.
I tried to disable the classic editor plugin with no luck, the issue remain.

not yet, we are working on progressively update all of our themes. By the way, with this plugin installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/ you should be able to use the theme on the WordPress 5.5 version without issues.

if your hosting support staging we suggest to create a staging environment and update the theme. Otherwise make sure to make a backup of your installation before update.

Theme is up to date, Version: 1.1.5. I am also using a child theme. I have tried to activate the parent theme and the error is still there.
I can still access the site, but am unable to fix this error. If I switch to another theme it goes away. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the free license doesn’t exist, the theme can only be purchased here on ThemeForest and comes with the PSD’s, documentation and dummy content, if you have downloaded on another website you have downloaded an illegal copy.

Hi there, i love the look and features of this theme and am one step away from purchasing. Just a quick question, does the reservation system have to be set up with OpenTable or are any other plug in options available? such as Wordpress Restaurant Manager? (I am not quite sure if the $200 a month for OpenTable can be justified by the client at this stage of the project) I would really love to keep the beautifully integrated booking section on the home page demo. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks very much!

the booking section is an OpenTable widget, it’s just for demo purposes, we don’t know WordPress Restaurant Manager, but if that plugin have a widget you can use it in the home page, since the three columns are three different widget areas.
