At the bottom of item description we told about it. For swift update we added the essential plugin on live server.

So, just delete the old plugin from plugin area and you will get notification to install update version.

Sorry, what type of customize you need. On theme folder you will 404.php file.

You can use child-theme to edit the file. If it is language text change issue you can edit the language text to use Loco Translation plugin. We added .pot file on language folder.
