After we uploaded the latest version of your theme, we missed to use the zip file that exists on the ressoruces directory since we are moving from version 7.x Now the website is broken, all CSS are not functioning correctly. can you please guide us to fix? even after we revert back to the old version of the theme, the Website is still not functioning properly (note that we don’t have backup)

Yes, support expires in 6 months after purchase unless renewed. You can renew it now too by going to Item page. If you dont want to renew, just the automatic updates will not work, you can still download and use the latest version.

Is it possible to migrate from Justshop to Justshoppe without having to redesign the site?

Please note Justshop was originally created in 2013 and web development space has changed alot since then. So I decided to start from scratch instead of updating old one. So to answer your question, sorry but no its not possible because it could become too cumbersome.
Dont worry Justshop will be supported as well and you can just go to wp-admin/appearance/themes to update automatically or you can download full package from Themeforest and find it in /resources folder.
PS: I recommend you start using new theme though, you can just create 1 page per week on test site whenever you get few minutes free. Just my suggestion.

Hi Templatation, is the old Justshop theme still supported now? As it seems the menu navigation is broken since Wordpress 5.5. We have tried downloading the latest Justshop theme but it hasn’t fixed it, and it seems it was last updated in Nov 19. Regards, Andy.

I also updated my install to latest WP and WC and see no problem in menu. WP 5.5 has a major jquery related change which can break many plugins, I suggest try activating this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/ .

But, actually its more important to update the VC for 5.0 compatiblity. So after you update theme, please go to Appearance->install plugins to update VC.

You do not need to purchase support to get updates, you just wont be able to just click update in wp-admin/appearance/themes to get updates. If you dont want to pay for support its ok, you can use https://envato.com/market-plugin/ plugin for easy updates from your wp-admin.
Using this plugin it says “Justshop Version 8.31”. Is this the current one because there is no update option? Your changelog says v8.9 should be current.. and v8.31 doesn’t even exist there..? Please advise

That testing you are referring is done and now things working fine, you only need to update manually once, after it will work like it works for others. I guess you currently have the theme version that had versioning issue that I fixed few months ago. So please update manually just once. Its just as easy as uploading a folder via FTP thats it.
I had updated manually to Version 8.6 in December, that did not help. Have now updated to 8.9 manually again and will check for Envato Market to catch up after your next update.

You are not forced to pay again, you already own the theme, both old and new version. You also do not need to rework on existing website. Justshop is/will be supported as well and will be inside the resources folder in main download package(for manual updates) or just go to appearance/themes if auto update is on.
So from now on Justshop can only be updated manually via themeforest download and ENvato Market doesn’t work any more? How does my client have access to his theme license then since it’s bought from my account?

The original Justshop theme was built in 2013, in last few years WP and web development evolved alot, thats why the theme needed a major update. I changed name just because of customers like you, so that you dont have to rework on sites already done. Others just delete the theme and move away, but I chose this path, so that I can add value and still make sales to keep working on theme. Hope you understand.
Ofcourse Justshop is compatible with Latest WP, WC and VC(now WPbakery page builder).
I’ve experienced this with other themes and some of them wrote an internal converter – wouldn’t that be an option?

The converter is possible but not worth the efforts because the original Justshop had only few pages, that one can duplicate easily in new Justshoppe within a day with new Elementor page builder, if he wants to.
Why do you need docs of old version, you already have website live.
Yes, manual update as you mentioned is the option, other option is to pay for support and just click update link in appearance/themes to autoupdate.
Are you really sure my years of updates and support for the theme does not worth your $20ish support renewal charge. I am pretty sure you are also not providing your client a lifetime free maintenance of their website.
Docs would be needed for editing the website and Justshop update instructions.
Theme updates were included in the license when I bought the theme as far as I know. This is not about not wanting to support your work – if I need help using the theme I’m more than happy to pay for support. I don’t see the point of paying “a support fee” to receive updates if I already payed for them via license purchase.

How do I do that then? I only see “Justshoppe” via Envato Market plugin.
You forcefully asked for old version docs link, so that I sent, that doc is not updated. As the theme is now renamed to Justshoppe, so thats why you will get using Envato Market plugin. You can manually update like I told you many times before, or if you want I can refund your purchase.
Thank you for your offer, refund is not possible as we can’t simply stop using the theme. I had no idea you did not update the Justshop documentation – why would you not? It’s not my fault you started making two themes in one. At least keep a seperate changelog for Justshop so I can see if a new version has come out without downloading everything. Thank you

The latest version is 8.2 . The VC plugin is external plugin and they do so to trigger more sales to their plugin. I do not control that plugin. Oh I realised that you meant the update notice, so the best solution is to update it. Getting its latest version is simple. Go to Plugins, deactivate/delete the VC plugin. Then go to Appearance -> Install plugins and install it again, it will fetch the latest version then. This procedure is safe only for VC plugin and not for all other plugins.
I’ve found and deleted @import url(//fonts.googleapis.com… from the theme’s style.css to comply with gdpr. But that will be back with the next theme update. How can I deatctivate the connection to the google servers for good?

I agree and apologise for the issues you have been facing. Actually I am working on/testing/implementing a system for automatic updates for theme, thats why it all happened. The good news is all appears fine now. I just released a v8.2 which sorts GDPR issue, so just update to 8.2 and use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/selfhost-google-fonts/ , as you can verify here http://justshopwp.templatation.com/justshopwide/ in console, no connection to google servers.

The problem could be that VC released update just after I emailed you the instructions. Please repeat the instructions I emailed as I just updated VC version on my server.
