Wanted to check if following features are possible in next release.

1) If user minimizes the side nav, using cookies, keep it minimized on page refresh.

2) When minimized, show menu name as tooltip, when there are no sub menu items. For example, “File Manager” does not have any child items. On minimize, on icon mouse over, show “File Manager”

3) Have Drop Down child menu’s for Top Menu. For example, for top menu “Messages”, have popup menu on mouse over as “send mesasge”, similar to menu available on “mandylane” theme for “Elements” menu option.

Hey, one quick thing, I really like how you have set up your news feed with the list items… Would you be able to show an example of how to nest an item under a main list item? For instance, a comment under a comment, with a box to show where to add comment.. Just the markup

Maybe start a new [ul] underneath the main [li] for all the responses? If you have time for that, I would greatly appreciate it.

I don’t really see how to populate tables only from the back-end. I saw the code for update a row but I have not seen anything else. Is there a way to populate from the backend like jQgrid? Would another viable approach be to use jQgrid but Amanda for non-table content ? – if so, would there be any css conflicts?

In both cases I might be trying to do something beyond the scope of amanda – let me know if that is the case.

I’m going down a path that perhaps I should not… I am attempting to put a vernav2 menu inside each section of an accordion. If not that, then having my vernav2 menu go 3 levels deep. So far, it’s a no-go but it may not be designed for that.

Any input on either approach?
