Hi Teeshack. Images uploaded and resized by WordPress functions (not the theme). I guess you view images on your mobile device. If yes, then some mobile devices may rotate and show images as they like.
No, images cannot be edited yet. But this functionality will be added in the future updates.

What could be the reason why my datebook subscription is not working properly? On the subscription plan page when I choose the subscription and click the button it just refreshes the page and tells me to select a subscription. The subscription plans are enabled and the paypal gateway is set up.

Loco Translate plugin is the best to edit language online, right on your website. Poedit is great to edit languages offline on your PC and then upload translated language files to your website.

You as administrator can subscribe their profiles to paid subscription plans for free. Just go to a Profile page -> Subscription page -> Subscribe to any plan. In this case, they will be able to use all features of the website and no need to pay.

How can I make that stop? I would like to keep the background color I had. I don’t want patterns switching. There are 30+ year old men with red flower backgrounds, not good.
Now, the only way to stop it is you have to manually remove patterns in this folder (wp-content\plugins\datebook\assets\images\patterns).
But right now I will make changes as you like. You will be able to stop patterns, upload your own patterns, set permanent/random colors or stop it all. Just give me 1-3 days please. Thank you

Profiles above are featured. You as administrator can set them manually, otherwise, your users can set their profile featured after they select to a subscription plan.
Profiles below are ordinary profiles. You can set a number of profiles on the front page here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Front page -> Normal profiles: show on the front page? Please note, when the option “Normal profiles: quantity to show” selected 30 profiles then if your website has fewer than 30 profiles, profiles will not be shown on the front page.
i meant the background image. I have changed it uder: Datebook>> Design & Style >> Header but Homepage background image isnt still showing.

This is a usual thing when a verification email is not sent. Almost all servers do not allow mail function. Only SMTP is allowed. So you should install the WP mail SMTP plugin. It always helps. I apologise for not replying in time. It is night here

Perhaps you are still logged in. In this case, Register and login links are not shown to logged in users. Please check it. Instead of those links, you administrator could see some user links.

Hi, i have tried and tried but couldn’t get what i want…i actually want banner in the default homepage to slide so i can have 3 slides withou losing the seach form, login & Signup link above the search form, the logo and other things presently on the homepage but as soon i switch to Brizy page builder from wprdpress builder, all of the things pre-designed immediately disappears and i just couldnt recreate that design. I could create the slider(after clicking the black button by the top right like to asked me to) but just couldnt have the search form, login & signup link, logo, short description of the dating platform, fotter and other stuffs that come with the default design.
My second issue is after a message is sent from one account to the another account, the other account doesnt receive the email. I have just been battling with all this amongst other things on the dashboard that arent working.

Serious Error Needs Attendtion All user data is being erased automativally. Photos also erased/deleted automatically. I did nothing in my website not even logged in from admin. I just checked from front end. I am facing same problem in my both websites. I have purchased 2 websites from you. Please sort this at the earliest as this is very major issue.

Specially for your case, I will add a special function that does allow other functions to delete profiles automatically.

Serious Issue- Needs attention I have put “0” in WordPress – DateBook – Dashboard – Profile – Delete Profiles who did not verify their email within already. Please note Profile is not deleted, user is able to login but the data and images filled by users is deleted.
I cannot give my admin login and password details, because last time I given thease details to you & I face lots of problem related to my revenue.

Oh no. 0 means delete immediately the same day of profile creation. But in the option it is said 0 = do not delete. This is my mistake. I incorrectly counted this option. I apologise so much.
Please, if you don’t want to delete profiles at all, then enter “365” or more days.
If you don’t want to delete profiles then uncheck the option “User must verify his email”. Otherwise, if email is not verified then the profile cannot be activated by user. Therefore, his profile is useless. But if you would like to keep it then increase the number of days before the final deletion.
Already unchecked “user must verify email ”.

I am so sorry. No way. But data could be restored if backups of your site were made on hosting server. Some hostings make backups every day.
If this is the reason, why user exists ? Why user name exist only ? Why user not deleted ? I think there is some other script error . shouldn’t happen again. I dont want to delete any user automatically. Why there is no option for never delete user data ? Check again your script. Find the exact reason.
Actually EVERYTHING WORKS CORRECTLY!
The option says “0 = do not delete profile”. But in my previous comment I said “0 means = delete profile immediately”. I was wrong! I check it again.
So the option “Delete Profiles who did not verify their email within” works correctly!!! It does not delete profiles if set 0 (zero).
Especially, you say “only profile’s data was deleted but not profile itself and its user.” So the reason is still unknown!
You can enable/set the option above to “0” again.
Check this option too: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Privacy -> Days before the final deletion of profile.
THEME DOES NOT DELETE PROFILES without your permission. Especially such an incorrect way you described.
It may be some plugin, hosting server, or other reason why profiles were deleted. Perhaps, somebody knows your admin password.
- 1) your site is very slow, very slow. Checked on gtmetrix. Our demo website runs very fast, even without any cache.
- 2) I noticed 2 times within 10 minutes with your database connection “Error establishing connection”. This error is in your hosting, not the theme!

I have examined xml data backup of yesterday and today. i found that only data in <wp:meta_value> has been deleted automatically. Thank you for password. I have made some changes to the profile delete function to guarantee none of profiles will be deleted partly. More checks added to be sure to delete or not delete user and his profile. I will update your server with this fixes today later.
But I am sure the errors were on your side, wrong work of your hosting and database. That’s why some profile data were deleted partly, not saved correctly. I already met such situations.
When server works correctly, such errors do not occur and none of profile get broken or deleted partly. I already told you “your server blocks ajax requests”. This is one of reasons of broken queries, and broken profiles.
This 2020 year I received more than 10 complaints about serious bugs. But after investigating, I found out that all errors were due to: limited resources, wrong WordPress installation, wrong encoding and many others.

Yes, no profiles will be deleted. Now this function checks if profile and user’s account exist, and only after this, cron deletes the profile and account. In short, if this time, some profile would be deleted unexpectedly then some spy, hacker, alien, or virus has access to your website.

I have been working on your site for 4 hours. Nothing was deleted. Also, several days ago I registered a profile. It is still there. I update it, uploaded images. Nothing was deleted.
I am still investigating… I noticed your members submit a message in chat twice. It means they submit a text and wait until the text would be delivered due to a slow response from the server. Server is slow!
Deleted some members today also, please check top and featured members. You can understand what information deleted. I dont think slow server is the reason for profile deleting.
Yes, I saw them. I already know what data were deleted. NO, members were not deleted, only meta data of some profiles were deleted! Some meta data were already deleted partly, not today and not yesterday, but more days ago. How do you know they were deleted today? 1 week ago I registered a profile. It has not been deleted even partly. It is complete. I filled in all fields and uploaded images, save, resaved. Nothing were broken.
I checked all functions, especially that delete or save meta data. I could not find a reason why data could be deleted partly.
The only I can suppose, errors could occur while saving meta data because your server does not respond fast, so some post queries could be lost, broken.
Sometimes your server responds very slowly, sometimes normally. Thus, some profiles are saved not broken, but some profiles meta data are broken. Errors occur on your server, not the theme.
We use the DateBook theme on several different servers. Our customers use on absolutely different servers (shared, dedicated, Linux, Windows). Nobody complained about such error that happens only on your server.
You could ask another developer investigate the theme and your server. You could install the theme on another server and test it. Instead of crying in Reviews “Otherwise script is garbage only. Please take a note before purchasing this script.”.
You asked “How do you know they were deleted today? ” Answer is dear Pagic, “I observed that “some top & featured members Photo not showing.” When i click on that, i found that all its profiled fields (excluding name and email id) has been lost.
Another thing you forgotten my dear Pagic, I praised for script and given you 5 star. And also refered to my friends.But you are taking it personally. You forgot my 5 stars and supposing that i am your enimy. I am your customer sir, I have purchased your 2 themes. Why ? Because you developed very good. And i like it. So dont get angry on me. Take it positive. Another point is your same theme is working fine on same hosting with another account. This problem happens with 1 theme only. Dear Pagic, i will check on another server but, i think themeforest will not allow me to use 1 theme on 2 server at a time. Please confirm.
When cusyomer complaints for any issue dont say customer is crying but its chance to find you bugs and make theme more efficient so please1 understand me. I am not your enemy or competitor. I m confuse why this happens with 1 theme only. Even another domain is working fine on same hosting plan.

You see I do not hide any of bugs or mistakes. I try to fix any issue even on customers servers (but such support is not included in the theme). I do not care about support period. I will be glad to assist you while you use the theme.
I hope we both can solve all issues, add more features. Please, disable caching on your server. Delete the HTACCESS file in the root folder, it may have cache commands. Do not check the theme on another server. It will be fixed on this one. Thank you, my friend.

Do not delete profiles. The good news is that the theme creates the profile meta data twice in different places. So even if data were deleted the the theme can restore them from the second place. I just need to create a function that restores data.

Hi vp_anyway. Standard pages are hardcoded. If you would like to edit profile then you should go frontend, go to any profile page and above the title (profile name) you can see Administration Dashboard where you can edit some options. Also, please, note, when you go to a profile page you become this profile’s user. Thus, you can edit that profile, upload images and other actions.

Hi vp_anyway. Yes, if you want your own page, then you can create a new page by help of any Page Builder. You can install Brizy or any other page builder. Yo can use shortcodes from here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Shortcodes. After you created a new page, remember to reselect and resave it here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Pages.

Hi stefanno. If you can disable all options then they will not appear in the search page but they will be disappear all over website. But as I understand you would like to just disable in the search form, not in the registration form.
All fields like location, gender, age, and others could be disabled here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile.

Hi dragonhunt. I just reinstalled our latest demo websites (4.4.7), crons, even changed servers. Websites loads quickly. No choking, no slow. The theme has been tested on local and online servers.
Could you test your website on local server (on your PC) or install a new subdomain on your live server? Perhaps, a new installation might work smoothly.
