Hi, we are looking at buying this them for commercial purposes. One of the main functions of our website is advertising. I see that the theme can support display banner ads. What I am wondering is how robust the back end is for this function is…
1. Is there a way to rotate different banners in the same space?
2. Is there a way to weight the banner rotations? i.e. have a certain ad show up a given amount in the rotation (percentage, views, etc)?
3. I see that there are several different sizes supported in the live preview. Can the banner image sizes be changed?
4. Is there a way to track clicks on banners? If so, how robust is the reporting capability?

well, the theme function doesn't have those ads management. You may need an external plugin for this. All your questions are just depend on plugin

I bought and build an awesome site with your GrandCollege theme. I must say that you built strong yet very flexible themes. Here i am again loving this great looking MeGazine. Some questions before buying it :
1. Since i didn’t found it anywhere in the description, does MeGazine have the unlimited sidebar feature in the option theme panel? I think so by browsing the theme.
2. The site i’m building have two sidebars and a middle content of events. Like the portfolio with both sidebar. But i want in the middle like some box content with a title and some description and a side image for each event (e.g. of the month). Do you have any suggestion for me? Plugin?
3. I don’t remember now all the work with GrangCollege, but can i use the slider elsewhere than home page and make it smaller (e.g. anything slider with from category with description in it)? If not do you suggest me a specific plugin for this theme?
4. Would it hurt the responsive design if i add the same principal menu to the footer but with other links? (Any suggestion? Mega Menu instead?)

2.) Well, yes, you might need an external plugin for this purpose but I’m not sure which plugin it is as I’m not experience with kind of this :/
3.) yes, you can put slider in any pages you need.
4.) it’s depend on that plugin, if it supports responsive or not.

I just bought the Megazine theme and I uploaded it, followed all instructions and even uploaded the .xml to get the exact demo look but for some reason the slider wont work or even show up. What can i do? Thank you!

Great theme. One thing I’d be interested in is setting a colour scheme per category title. ie red for music and blue for fashion etc. So that when I move along the top nav the nav colour changes to the category selected. Can the colour selector acommodate this and if not yet can you adapt it soon? :O) x

Well, really sorry. The theme doesn’t support this ability. You may need to add css directly for each page title ….
A couple of questions:
1) The header-area where you have the logo and an ad… is it possible to place a big image, instead of just the white color?
2) I KNOW you can’t test for all plug-ins, but I have three ALL ESSENTIAL plug-ins that my theme MUST run. Do you know if the three following plugins work: a) The free “All-in-One Event Calendar” from Time.ly (time.ly/) b) The free “Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin” (www.awpcp.com) c) The premium ad-plugin “WP Adcenter” (wpadcenter.com/) (I’m asking this, because I have recently bought a “perfect” theme… but it turned out it didn’t run EITHER of these plugins.)

What permalinks do you need for the Megazine theme? We have tried all including our usual ’/ category / postname .html’
The problem is that we cannot make the sections look different from one another. That is:
http://themes.goodlayers.com/megazine/fashion/ looks different to http://themes.goodlayers.com/megazine/lifestyle/We have read the documentation that it can be set at the ‘page’ level, overriding the setting in the admin panel.
Changing the permalinks to ‘default’ works however we don’t want urls like : http://local-theme.megazine/v1/?p=12345
Please help us as we need to make the sections look different.

P.S. the video you saw is the video to set as the demo site. You may follow the whole video if you need to be as a demo site.

I’ve just tried to add images and received the following message: “Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2012/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
And when I tried to make changes to the layout settings in the Megazine area, I got the following message:
“Cannot write style-custom file, you may try setting the style-custom.css file permission to 755 or 777 to serve this. (If file does not exist, you have to create it yourself).”
What does this mean?

Seems like your sever doesn’t set this as default.
Please go to folder ‘wp-content/uploads/’ and set the permission on this folder to ‘755’ or ‘777’ (try both) and go to ‘megazine/style-custom.css’ set the permission to ‘755’ or ‘777’ (try both)
If you’re not able to do this, you have to contact your host provider to change it.

I basically want it to look like the theme in demo mode but I want to change the colours and page names etc…
I am having issues with Megazines, only widgets showing are sitemaps and footers. Also I cant seem to get my text to go into the middle of the navigation bar? pulsemagazines.co.uk
