Hello, I am very interested in purchasing this theme, I just have a question about WPBakery…I have already purchased it and am currently using it on my website with another theme. If I was to use your theme instead, will there be compatibility issues with my current version of WPBakery? (I guess my question is, will one override the other!?).

You can continue to use your paid version of WPBakery if you wish to. We haven’t modified the core WPBakery package in any way. We extend it using the API so it will work just fine. However, if there are any custom elements provided by your current theme, they won’t be available on migration.

Question: I bought this theme thinking I can use the WPBakery Page Builder plugin. I am in the middle of building the WordPress site and don’t have an option to use it. It says I have to activate it and buy a license. When I go to the plugin activation it takes me to my my licenses and I have another theme that shows my license and number. So do I need to buy another license for this theme? Help please.

1. Is it possible to enable wpbakery only for pages and not the posts so posts load quicker in the admin panel?
2. Is it possible to customize elements in the header or there are some pre designed headers? For example, is it possible to change the logo position or omit some elements like socials or add other elements or some custom text like phone number?

Thanks for writing to us. First, WPBakery is totally optional and only required for building the Magazine homepage. However, there’s no feature in WordPress to enable / disable a plugin selectively on pages or posts. You may look this guide if you’re a dev.
For the second, yes there are 10+ pre-made header styles. It’s possible to enable / disable several items on these headers such as social, search, cart icon, navigation menu etc. But inserting custom text/html is only possible on Style 4.

I didn’t want to enable disable it for specific pages/posts, I just want to use it for pages only and disable it for posts entirely, And I found it out it is a built-in feature of WPBakery and the settings are under “Role Manager”.

I am rather new to WordPress though with some dev background. I am looking to purchase this theme for my cybersecurity blog. The live demo gives a very impressive and outstanding outlook for this theme. I would like to know if out of the box, this theme will give me that outstanding look & feel and if not, could you please advise on estimated effort (configurations etc) required to achieve that look, bearing in mind that I already have posts & pages content. Also, please let me know if there are other dependencies such as plugins etc. that will need to be separately worked on for this theme to work. Thanks for writing to us. This theme in terms of setup, is easier than most premium multipurpose themes. However, some experience with premium products and terms like demo import at expected. We’d recommend starting off with a test/staging site (which is the right thing to do with any WordPress theme change or major overhaul anyways). Most WordPress webhosts offer a staging site feature where you can experiment and once fully setup, move the site over to the main site.
All the required plugins are included in the setup process. After the basic setup, you will import a demo (with settings only – not full sample content – as you said you already have content) and from thereon, you can follow the documentation. If you have any questions, like all our buyers, you will have access to our Support Site to get help.

Hi. When we purchased your theme through envato we had an old email address associated to the envato account so never received the support password to login. We have since updated our email address with envato; however, when we try resetting the password on your support site, no password reset link is sent (even to junk). I’ve filled out that form 3 times and am not getting a response. Please can you help.
We have replied to your most recent email twice from different email addresses. If you aren’t receiving the reply, kindly provide with an email address from a more common email provider like gmail. Thanks for writing to us. Sure, all the elements can be enable or disabled. In the demos, the magazine and lifestyle homepages are built with WPBakery Page Builder but others are built using the easier method from live customizer. However, you can recreate the demos in WPBakery too by using the blocks and even some of the homepage elements from Customizer.

This is possible if you have any experience with WPBakery Page Builder (included with the theme) by using 3 columns, buttons and text elements. Or if you need something more fancy, or to use within posts using the default WordPress editor, you can use any of the pricing table plugin such as this block plugin. Or Coblocks has many useful features including pricing table.

I encounter a problem for video posts when the home layout is set to One Large Post + Grid.
When the video post is in the position of the first ‘Large Post’, the video can play at my homepage on the fly without click into the post. But after I add a new post and the video post move down into Grid, the video no longer able to play on the fly without click into the post.
Please let me know how to make the video able to play on the fly within the grid area too.

Sorry, the embedded videos are only supported for the large listings as the grid listing is too tiny for embedded and it would be a bad practice and would also be bad for speed/performance to use videos there. The only way to have embedded videos is to use Classic / Large posts listings. Hi kind support i hope to be wrong but am very disappointed about your theme. I choose CheerUp for my blog site because was coming with very nice layout and pre-made home layouts to choose from. THE FACT there are NO pagebuilder to modify them it ’s very very disappointed. The premade layouts is just shown not done. It’s true you have the builder in the theme but unusefull. Hope to get an answer …actually I would like to know also how to ask for refund.

If you need one of the pre-made demos, it’s best to import a demo (guide here). We do have a page builder included, but it isn’t required to build most of the layouts shown (except Magazine) – however, you can easily build them with the pagebuilder if you need the page builder for some reason. Do note that all the demos are importable and you can find a lot of customization options in Customizer home options if you explore it.

To restate, you can use and create any of the demo layout without using the page builder (except Magazine), via the Customizer. The pagebuilder is just an add-on for those who wish to use it for their own advance stuff. And if you wish to know how to create a specific layout with pagebuilder as well (although not required), you can create a support topic and our team will assist you. As for refund, if you have put in a request, it will be checked by the refund team and processed if within the policies, in few days.
